I was recommended Alan by a friend who has an enormous experience with rallying his Volvo Amazon around the world.
The direction of professional travel for Alan leading into his trade and expertise on VOLVOs and MGs means that you are dealing with a highly intelligent and motivated person. He has a “can do “ attitude and I found his knowledge was excellent. He was even able to deal with me verging on the OCD spectrum ,with my car! It makes a refreshing change when compared to one of the nations supposed experts in rally preparing a Volvo Amazon, when the advice is practical , open to discussion and not based on optimising revenue! Alan installed my wiring loom and dealt with some other minor issues, very nicely, and at a very reasonable price .I think I have ended up with another friend , as a novice , in the world of amateur rally driving.
I would very much recommend Alan and would have no hesitation to seek his services again.

Bought a restored Volvo Amazon from a so called Amazon specialist Alan has rectified some of the faults arranged for the rusty sills to be replaced, still some door and wing rust repairs required Alan’s knowledge of these cars is immense and I highly recommend CRS

I have an MGBGT and a Volvo Amazon and Alan has worked on both them, upgrading the MGBT to a Classic Rally standard and servicing and correcting the imported Amazon from its non original engine mechanical 'upgrades'. His knowledge of these car types is excellent and he provides a first class service at very reasonable cost.

Alan moved a Triumph Stag for me with great care and a professional experienced approach, from my initial telephone conversation I felt like I was dealing with a honest guy. I felt his quote was very reasonable compared to some of the others I received.

Classic Rally Services collect and return my Volvo PV544 always on time as arranged. Never had to complain about any work done, always had excellent advice over issues of difficulty. Their charges are very reasonable. On my previous Amazons I had first class attention. Highly recommend Classic Rally Services.
