Another charity bag through the door.
I only use them for filling and taking stuff to our local hospice shop.

Another charity bag through the door.

Had a bag put through my door, it says on the back to contact them to arrange a collection if you can't get it out by the day given (which was 2 days after receiving it.) I've filled the bag and a couple extra for them, went online to arrange a collection and it keeps saying they aren't currently covering my area. Bare in mind I tried to do it the day they was meant to be collected so they must have been covering the area. Tried emailing them but I keep getting an email back from Google saying the email address they have given isnt found or is unable to review any emails. Complete waste of my time.
Abhorrent company. Doesn't matter how many times you tell them not to put bags through your letterbox - they keep coming.
Not only that they ignore the regulations and deliver and collect with no collectors license in place. Council licensing appear toothless to stop them.
Wouldn't mind if any of the so called charities were real charities - read up on their accounts you will see hundreds of thousands in the bank for some charities and less than 20k spent in a year.
I have tried, repeatedly, to stop this ‘company’ from distributing charity bags to my door given they are doing so illegally: I have a clear sign in the door advising them charity bags are not welcome. An email dated 28.01.2024 was ignored and my email sent 04.02.2024 bounced back. Subsequently, I sent an online message via their own ‘contact us’ form the same day, but, today have, yet again, received another charity bag illegally posted through my door and, again, my email has bounced back.
The fundraising regulator makes it very clear that anyone registered with the MPS and who has a clearly visible sign in their door stating they do not accept charity bags should not receive them. Clothes2collect is happy to ignore the fundraising regulator, clearly.
For anyone wishing to take action against these people, go to Companies House and you will see the names of the Director and Secretary both registered to a dump of a building at 542 Prescott Road, Liverpool (the full company registration address can be found on the unwanted charity bags we’re all receiving). I’m going to call tomorrow and record the message in the event I need to take this matter to court as I’m sick of receiving the bags and of the ignorance exhibited.
Junk company! Email address on their website is fake. Bags pushed through doors where it's clear they are not wanted. Use their bags as bin bags, that's all they are worth!
Fake company, not charity related (do your research and will see), do not give anything to them.
One bag supplied, filled the bag. Left out for collection but never got collected. Why provide single bags if you don't collect single bags?? The clothes are now ruined. Plastic bag gone into landfill. Waste of time.
Rang twice and asked for email confirmation that they would collect. Left loads of expensive clothes outside even though it was raining (they said they had a dryer). They never showed. Called three more times. So now I have nearly £1000 of wet ruined clothes that no where else will except. Ridiculous.
This is basically the trading name of a fake charity collection outfit (Recycle Proline, which is a commercial company and NOT a charity) operated by Lithuanians who sell the clothes in Lithuania to put profit in their own pockets. They try collecting in Richmondshire but are never on the authorised door to be door charity collection list. Reported them several times to the council. Advertising Standards Authority banned their misleading "charity" bags back in 2016. Better to donate clothes directly to your local charity shop.
It appears only a percentage of money raised goes to charities. I can't find any information on this. I would prefer to give clothes to an actual charity shop instead. I believe this is a scam.
Constantly spammed with plastic bags though the letter box which are not able to be recycled. Never requested these, yet receive them now weekly and have to go in the black bin so essentially to a landfill. I tried to email to ask for this to stop and got a response to say the email would not deliver - presumably the contact us email is either fake or doesn't actually accept incoming mail. All very sketchy. Seems nothing more than a scam as far as I can see but purporting to recycle clothes for various charities. I'm skeptical.
