When my laptop went haywire
When my laptop went haywire, I did a Recovery. I don't have Microsoft Word and save all my documents as rtf or txt. The Recovery changed them to docx or doc and I couldn't open them! Cloudconvert saved my day! Easy to use; even for an 81-year old!

This service is amazing
This service is amazing. I got a WhatsApp audio I needed to use for a video, and with no tools in hand to handle this conversion, I looked for some online options.
Cloud Convert managed to do an amazing job, which saved me so much hassle and time.

Worked very well!
Google Drive recommended it to convert some .pages files that I could not open with Word or GDocs.
CloudConvert worked perfectly. My files converted in less than one minute. The track changes were highlighted successfully, which made my work a lot easier! I don't think it was 100% perfect, but definitely 98% or so... it made my job a ton easier.
I also appreciated how CloudConvert said it would only access the files in my GDrive that I gave it access to.

CloudConvert is where it's at
I've been using CloudConvert ever since I stumbled upon it a decade ago, and I've been nothing but impressed. It's an online file converter that can take just about any type of input file and turn it into the output format you need — and there are plenty of both supported formats to choose from. Even better, it's free to use for up to 25 conversions per day (with no limit on how many files you can process at once), making it incredibly generous compared to other similar services, such as Zamzar or Convertio.
The fact that CloudConvert is based in Germany is another big plus in my book. German data protection laws are some of the strongest in the world, so I can have reasonable faith my personal information is safe when using this service. Their Privacy page outlines the information they gather, and they make a distinction between files and personal info like IP addresses. Users have the option to irreversibly delete files with the press of a button, and even if they don't, CloudConvert will permanently delete files after 24 hours.
On another note, CloudConvert offers 24/7 customer support if anything ever does go wrong — which has yet to happen during my time using CloudConvert.
In short: For most users, if you need a reliable way to convert between lots of different types of files without spending a dime, look no further than CloudConvert!

I am so happy that I found cloud…
I am so happy that I found cloud convert! I had a 232 meg old .avi file that I could not do anything with as it was a monster. I couldn't even bring it into Camtasia which I had used 10 years ago to make it. In less than 5 minutes CloudConvert took my 232 meg file and converted it perfectly into a 27 meg .mp4 file. WOWEE I am now able to edit and audio and hopefully with this I can finally get a job. I do AutoCAD 3D modelling and this will make me standout I think. Thank you a whole bunch!
