I've been struggling with abdominal pain of unknown cause for months, on top of being a recurrent kidney stone former. Despite ongoing communications with my GP and hospital, waiting lists for scans and treatments are ridiculously long and I've been left floundering around with pain, uncertainty, and associated anxiety. I decided to try Comfortscan to see if this could help understand what's going on in my abdomen, and also to have a look at my knee at the same time. Shazia was so professional, knowledgeable, thorough and kind, and within minutes could tell me the latest with my stones, reassure that there was nothing scary in my abdomen (ruling out any obvious fibroids, lumps, tumours etc), and also provided insight into my knee pain too. The follow-up report and scans was excellent too, and all at a reasonable price. I'll definitely not hang around again in future when it comes to my health - it feels so reassuring to know that I can have a scan at any time, at short notice if needed, in the comfort of my home, and get the insight needed to make informed choices about my healthcare. Highly recommend.

Fantastic service from Shazia at Comfort Scan! I have been struggling to find answers for an unexplained foot pain I have been experiencing for months now. After the pain spread to my leg, I decided to explore a private ultrasound scan to avoid long waits through the NHS. Shazia was extremely helpful and replied to my initial email within an hour, advising me what type of scan would be best based on my symptoms. She booked me in for the following day and was exceptionally helpful in assisting me with getting to the bottom of my pain by undertaking a vascular Doppler scan. Thanks to Shazia, I know have the correct information to take to my GP to investigate the problems further. Shazia and her husband were on time, well equipped with all the relevant equipment and cleaning products, polite, friendly and most importantly able to answer any questions I had. This is a fantastic service and the fact that they are mobile and come to your home made it very convenient for me to fit around working from home. The service was very quick to book, easily accessible and affordable. I would absolutely recommend Comfort Scan and would definitely book again if I require additional scans in the future!

After a visit to A and E and the prospect of another 2-3 months awaiting a scan appt in pain. I decided to book a scan myself when I got home from the hospital. I came across Comfort Scan and booked for the following morning. Shazia and her husband came all prepared and within minutes I was being shown my problem area. Shazia has such a gentle and calming manner and put me at my ease straight away. I felt relaxed and comfortable throughout the scan. I had my full report back the same day and Shazia kindly answered my questions relating to my report.
I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. It is so reassuring to get the answers you need in the comfort of your own home.

Absolutely fantastic service. I came across this from a Google search for a suspicious feeling in my armpit. I couldn't bare the idea of waiting weeks for this to be scanned. Booked appointment and had scan within an hour.

Absolutely amazing experience with Comfort Scan! After a visit to the Drs with my daughter they found 2 lumps in her neck. She was put on an urgent two week waiting list. We could not wait that long. I come home and found Comfort Scan on google. I booked an appointment at 4pm they arrived at 8.15pm the same day. I live in Norfolk they came all the way from Milton Keynes. The lady that did the scan was absolutely fantastic she just looked at her neck and said “I know what it is” She proceeded to do the ultrasound scan and thank goodness it was nothing to worry about. My daughter has also been having problems with her kidneys and bladder so she checked them over too while she was here. She went above and beyond with the care for my daughter and I will forever be grateful. I would without a shadow of doubt use Comfort Scan again. We have given out their details to all of our family and friends!!

After 34 months waiting for answers. I found comfort scan after reading a review on facebook. They have been brilliant from communication and talking me through everything to the lovely lady who come to my house and did the scan. I was made to feel at ease with everything. The report was fast and finally got the answers I needed. I would definitely use in the future if needed.

Thankyou so much for your excellent and caring service, it’s incredible we could get fast accurate scan results in our own home, I didn’t think it was possible, we had at least a six month wait at our own surgery, you arrived the following day incredible, now we can see about treatment long before we’d have even been scanned, thankyou so much again, you could possibly have just literally saved our life.

After several weeks of my daughter suffering from ongoing pain and being prescribed multiple courses of antibiotics, along with numerous GP and A&E visits, she was finally referred for an ultrasound. Unfortunately, the NHS waiting time was 4–6 weeks, which simply wasn’t an option considering her continued discomfort.
That’s when we came across Comfort Scan, and I’m so grateful we did. We initially booked for a Saturday appointment, but upon explaining the urgency, they kindly brought the scan forward for Friday.
The ultrasound was performed in the comfort of our own home, which made the whole experience much less stressful for my daughter. The sonographer, was incredibly thorough, professional and talk us through everything as the scan was carried out. She detected fluid in the right kidney and suspected pyelonephritis. She promptly wrote a report and strongly advised us to go to A&E, as IV antibiotics were likely needed.
Thanks to her quick and accurate assessment, we were able to get the right treatment without further delay, and my daughter is now finally feeling better.
I cannot recommend Comfort Scan highly enough. Their professionalism, empathy, and prompt action made all the difference. Thank you!

Really excellent friendly service. Very prompt communication and was able to book an immediate appointment. The scan was done in comfort of my own home which was great. The results of the scan were clearly explained and now feel really reassured without a long wait on NHS waiting list. Thank you.
