I get the best contracts through Cord. Compared to LinkedIn, I get a fewer messages, but with a higher conversion. The platform itself is very easy to user and the new CV and profile editing is easier than other systems.
I have only one issue I faced recently. Some jobs look only for remote and don't require specific locations, but I still can't apply because I don't have visa and they don't provide visa sponsorship. However, they are not required to sponsor visas because they don't require relocation. Please consider this issue.

Great site if you are looking for a tech related job.

Whilst many platforms simply have you build a profile and send out tonnes of applications awaiting a reply, Cord has been different in the sense communication goes both ways, both the recruiters and people seeking jobs have profiles, which provide information on how likely they are to respond along with jobs they are looking to fill.

Applications are made by sending a message and is often met with a quick response. I have had many great chats and interviews starting with cord and would highly recommend.

It was a great portal with effective hiring processes. At the moment, the portal has a lot of "shadow" recruiters, who do not respond and ignoring any requests. A lot of empty job postings (just to collect CV's)

Maybe this is not a problem of the team, but I think, the filtering of companies/recruiters and posts before was better.

good options, direct communication

In Cord, the best thing which I like is the way you can directly talk with companies. Also, the help you can get fro the support team in case you need help.

I got my current job through cord around a year ago. I just filled in the form, made myself visible to recruiters and was contacted by the one which led to my current role.

Cord has a very good website and is easy to use.

Overall, I'm grateful because it was on Cord I got my current job, but more recently...

Cons:
- I can't contact some recruiters who configured the job to not accept candidates with temporary visa. Some visas like mine from Portugal (Independent worker), would allow me to work for any company, anywhere without visa sponsorship (remotely). Having this option doesn't even allow me to try.
- Most of the external positions tagged as Remote Anywhere, don't correspond to the reality.
- For those who prefer to work as a contractor, it doesn't have much flexibility to configure daily/hour rates as "expected salary".
- As a Java developer, I noticed the number of positions on Cord reducing over the months (but it can be the Java market as well)
- Not many jobs are being posted.

Pros:
- The availability and responsiveness of recruiters are amazing, usually, they respond very quickly.
- The interface is quite simple and easy, and the message templates are a very good idea.
- The structure of profiles and jobs, makes it clear salary, company and technology used.

Great tool for looking for the job, I've been using it along other websites.
