Previous customer but no more
I was a previous customer but quoted a ridiculous amount last year (more than £1100 with 11 years NCD) for renewal. They suggested I may find a better deal elsewhere, so I did - with Aviva at more than £500 less and have since renewed with them after some negotiation .
I am now chased every year by Cornmarket to request a quote and am unable to unsubscribe.
No way will I return to Cornmarket - a broker which adds their fees on top of Insurers premiums.
Best to go direct to the main companies.

I’ve been with Cornmarket for many
I’ve been with Cornmarket for many, many years. It’s a frustration that insurance costs seem to multiply year on year, but that’s industry wide. Cornmarket has very helpful staff who will always do their best to keep their prices as low as possible, often discounting their costs in order to help. In reality many other quotes for other providers are much more expensive and some won’t even entertain covering me for business (motorcycle instructor). Fortunately, in 30 years not had reason to claim, but I trust them as an insurance provider, not something I would say of all providers.

A £50 charge just to change my address on the policy plus £22 to move 4 miles down the road. How can they possibly justify that!

Another years insurance sorted out in minutes! This is a local company, staffed by actual local people, there is no language barrier, they talk just like us! A simple phone call no interpreter needed! I went straight to this company for my car insurance, because of the lack of complications they understand our accents!
