Mi mamá se han operado de estómago en día 06/01/2023 hora 16:00 , en día 07/01/2023 lo han echo la salida del hospital sin ningún control. Hemos llegado acasa en Rumania. Y después de 3 días hemos llegado al hospital de bucharest y le han ingresado de inmediato para operarla por qué la operación se han abierto y ahora le han dado 10-15 pro cientos de vida ( por que lo han echo mal en Turquía) No lo haces en este hotel… toda la gente quiere engañarte con el dinero . Y hacen la operación rápido por dinero. Piensas 1000 veces antes por favor.

Asked for a refund and they just kept laying to me at first now they are not replying at all. They also sent me this email.

This letter serves as a formal request for a refund of £281 of the payment totalling £5200 that I paid to receive Medical Service from Cosmeticium Clinic. By accepting this Refund Letter, I agree not to publicly comment, threaten or criticize Cosmeticium or any of its employees on the medical treatment provider (doctor, medical personnel, hospital) treatment and services and hotel services.
In the event of a violation of this clause, I must remove the content immediately upon Cosmeticium’s evaluation and request. In the case that the content remains in part or in full, I agree to pay GBP 5,000 as compensation to Cosmeticium.
, hereby confirm that the below account details are for my registered account where I shall receive my refund amount of £281 from Cosmeticium.

The amount is wrong as I didn’t have the treatment in question in the end, so they now owe me £2280.00. There is a lot more negative things I can say but this is it for now.

I had a liposunction performed at the cosmetitium clinic, and I had booked it through Medaway. That was my first operation ever, and even though I was a bite concerned, also because I was there on my own, all staff put me at ease during the entire process. Everyone is really friendly, compassionate, professional and kind. Even if not everybody could speak English I had a great connection with all of the people. Before and after the operation I had several people who came to my room to talk and to check on me. The hospital is very clean and modern and the room I stayed in is large and comfortable. All the medical procedure pre and post operation were carried out professionally.
Doctor Zafer was very easy to talk with and he gave me realistic expectations during my consultation before surgery.
A big thank you to all of the staff ( I wish I could remember their names) in particular to Gülce who also came to visit me at the hotel after surgery.

I had my gastric sleeve done at the end of March and am so pleased with how everything went. Every member of staff I encountered was so friendly and caring! I was looked after so well after my surgery and I was very pleased with the aftercare. Nurses and doctors are constantly coming in to check blood pressure, heartbeat etc and even just for a chat to see how I was feeling. There was always a member of staff always available if I needed anything.

The hotel was also very lovely. It was very clean and cosy and the perfect place to rest after having a gastric sleeve.

Since being back home they have regularly checked on me to see how I am getting on and are still very supportive and if I have any questions someone usually replies within minutes. I also made friends with the other people on my ward who had the same procedure who I am keeping in touch with to continue to support each other.

I would definitely recommend going to Medaway and will definitely come back if I ever wanted anything else done! Thank you all so much :)

Firstly, I must point out that nearly all 5 star reviews on here are from profiles who have only ever reviewed one place. I wish I noticed this before as this indicates to me that they are likely fake reviews to hide the true reviews.

My experience from rhinoplasty surgery in short:
- It was the scariest experience of my life.
- Poor communication from everyone - most staff did not speak English.
- Staff lacked care and compassion.
- Dirty hospital room.
- Zero hand hygiene - did not see staff wash their hands once.
- No dignity provided to patients.
- Pressured to sign hospital documents written in Turkish and refused to translate them on request.
- Nothing ran to time.
- Post surgical infection.

I have posted my full complaint on other review platforms, as trust pilot does not allow me to cut and paste. I would encourage you read it before agreeing to surgery with Medaway (also known as Cosmeticium).

So I am writing this review a few months after my rhinoplasty. As I wanted to give the full review after I’ve sort of got the final results.

I am rating 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I had a great experience with cosmeticium.

Communications started off with the brilliant Tarkan over WhatsApp. He gave me the confidence to actually have the rhinoplasty.

He explained everything extremely well and is overall amazing as his responses were extremely quick always and the way he explained things was always clear. Even when I got there to have the procedure Mert was such a helpful person.

The reason why I’m giving it 4* And not 5 is because at one point I had booked in with a different doctor and towards the last few weeks of me making a decision to fly out I was told that doctor can no longer perform my surgery and I will have to choose a different doctor.

Moving on I’m glad he didn’t because Dr Hasan Çakar did an amazing job! I love my nose, I am loving it more and more each day! So definitely i can say it actually worked out in my favour! His work is amazing!

Also a special thank you to Furkan, who worked extremely hard all day organising everything. He was a great help!

Just overall some minor improvements needed with being kept up to date with everything once you’re there. But I understand it’s extremely busy day in day out and various people are having different procedures at different hours and are at different stages so it can get a little bit hectic.

For a rhinoplasty I wouldn’t have chosen anyone else, for the price, the actual results everything was fantastic! If you are thinking about having a rhinoplasty with cosmeticium I definitely do recommend! Dr Hasan Çakar is amazing at what he does!

Don't book with this company. Its actually advertised as medaway. I had back and forth emails with them for a rhinoplasty. They said it would be 8 days stay. I got dates for my flights and sent the dates before I booked my flight and they said the dates where perfect. After I booked and sent them flight confirmation they said that I have to pay extra for the 8th day even though they had told me to book 8 days and never mentioned anything about this I have now cancelled my flights without a guarantee that I will get a refund. If they have issues before you even go that is a red flag to me

A wonderful doctor and his wonderful team, who introduced me to self-confidence and gave meaning to my life… my experience with cosmeticium, was really great and literally beyond my expectations. As someone who is afraid of hair transplant, now I can say that Cosmeticium is the only place in the world where I can trust and have a hair transplant. From the first moment that I entered the clinic, all the staff were very kind and helpful. They're really professional. I really want to thank Dr. Batu and his team for this great experience. I'm looking forward to seeing my result soon.

I was recommended Cosmeticium by a friend of mine and from the moment I first contacted them, I was impressed with the level of professionalism. My guide and translator, Sevda, was always available to answer my hundreds of questions from the weeks before I left Australia to the post-phase and even until today. Dr Batu and his team of nurses couldn't have been nicer or better at their job. The hospital is very clean and the Hotel was lovely. I would highly recommend Cosmeticium if you are looking for a team that will provide the right level of support and comfort throughout the process. I am two weeks post OP and the results are amazing. 5 Stars!

Worst to worst so so BAD VERY UNPROFESSIONAL STAY AWAY FROM THIS CLINIC.
left me deformed asked for smaller breast and woke up with BIGGER BREAST asked to get my BUTT IMPLANTS OUT THEY LEFT ONE IN so now I am DEFORMED and need urgent SURGERY.
ONCE YOU ARE BACK IN THE UK THEY TAKE NO NOTICE AND IGNORE YOUR AFTER CARE.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL NOT TO GO TO THIS CLINIC.

I contacted Cosmeticium for a quote, from the initial contact they have been very professional and helpful? They explained everything in detail and helped me make a decision to go ahead with the procedure, on arrival in Istanbul all my needs were taken care off and I had 5 star service from the company, the hospital, the surgeon and all the staff until my departure flight.

I came in September for a hair transplant with Dr.Batu and his team. He and his team were very professional and the facility was clean and inviting. The procedure itself wasn't too bad, it's only one day. It's now about 5 months post and my results are absolutely amazing. The hair line looks natural and I have my thick hair back. Thank you all!

Cosmeticium is very professional and very clean . Dr. Caglar has a well trained Team I would not trust any other hair hair clinic this is my second time coming all the way from Australia ! Beyond unprofessional

First off let me start by saying there are clearly different sections of Cosmeticium clinic with completely different doctors that probably do not operate the same way. So my review will reflect the staff and Dr Batu of Cosmeticium hair transplant procedure.

Starting off with arriving in Turkey I have to say it was a little sketchy due to some sort of middle man situation they had going on where I met up with one guy that didn’t even work at Cosmeticium he was just the guy who got people to their cars from multiple different clinics, so no big deal but that threw me off. Also when I go to my “VIP luxury car” which I paid for. It was a little old Mercedes van that was pretty dirty and had no A/C during this pretty warm Istanbul Summer. Again no big deal. My driver Erhan was fantastic and actually a very nice human being. Truly a highlight of my visit.

The hotel (Gorrion) Cosmeticium sets you up with is actually a very nice hotel with good food and friendly staff.

When I finally made it to the office Cosmeticium staff were also very friendly and welcoming. Do note that the person they have speak to you on WhatsApp is the person they have that speaks the BEST English, upon arrival you realize most of the employees do not speak any English at all. Fortunately Dr Batu English was not bad and he was able to answer my questions for the most part.

Dr Batu worked with me on my ideal hairline and understood my wants. Dr Batu was very friendly. However, I have to say it kind of seemed like I was just another patient to the clinic. Dr Batu does multiple transplants in one day so it kind of seemed like he was a bit fast with his work (maybe this isn’t such a bad thing). Almost as if staff and Dr Batu were just going through the motions.

Please note this procedure does in fact hurt very bad, it is in no way painless. The “needless” anesthesia hurts just as bad as a needle haha. But once administered you feel nothing.

Also I brought cash to pay for this procedure and the clinic informed (when I was already in turkey) that they didn’t accept older $100 USD bills. This threw me off big time and I thought I was getting conned, however I ended up just wiring the funds and it worked out, but keep this in mind. Also this forced me to travel back to the US with thousands in cash.

The clinic also sits you down and tries to sell you some after care products. Which I decided to purchase a few. To my surprise they were later confiscated by French authorities as I was transiting through France. So save your money just order the products online.

All in all, I would recommend Cosmeticium for your hair transplant. I am 8 months post op roughly and I love my results. My frontal hairline is especially strong and looks very natural. I am not even at 1 year yet and I have very solid results. Dr Batu has also been very helpful and responsive through WhatsApp even months after the procedure. Thank you Cosmeticium. My confidence has risen tremendously🙏

Take notice of the good and bad reviews on here about Medaway based on my experience with them I’d say it’s a mix of the two. I am happy with my results but the journey could have been better. Make sure you have more money available just incase as your consultation and quote is based from pictures, consultants don’t see them. I’d have a UK consultation and give that info to Medaway to help with the quote.
Their communication isn’t great things are done very short notice. UK clinic for aftercare doesn’t exist. No aftercare advice, dressings etc given after surgery. Transfers and hotel were good.
Staff were nice. I work in the NHS and Medaway really need to improve their infection control procedures. Protect yourself, ask them to wash their hands and wear gloves before touching you.
Overall I’m happy with my results and couldn’t afford to have the treatment in the UK but my experience with Medaway was most definitely average.

Have been insecure about my hair for a few years now, thought about a hair transplant for a while after getting SMP, I had a look online and found MedAway, I found their number and contacted them through WhatsApp. Since day one of speaking Zelal, she provided me with everything I needed to know with amazing prices! They provided my stay at a 5 star hotel included in the price! They picked me up at the right times not a minute late, they have outstanding customer service and high standards. As soon as I had this done Zelal contacted me making sure everything was fine and I was happy with the procedure! I highly recommend using this company for not just only this service but others they do. I will be recommending this amazing company to friends and family! Hi all . I’m leaving Istanbul today after walking out on the day of my surgery booked with medaway/ cosmeticium(medicine hospital). After several weeks of chatting with the Co ordinator and paying a deposit ,my surgery was booked for liposuction for 5 areas ( pictures sent and apparently seen by surgeon ). I was texted the night before saying be there at 5.30 am and fast . Surgeon arrived and said he only saw my pictures yesterday and I wasn’t suitable for liposuction! I apparently needed a tummy tuck , arm lift and face lift ! Obviously I was shocked . Stupidly I took the rest of the day to research facelifts and said yes to it ! Surgeon rechscduled for pm surgery . At 4 pm I was told originally surgeon had been called away and they have another surgeon, is there ok ? I was pretty much agreeing to everything as I was tired and hungry . Surgeon came at 5 pm and said - I don’t need a facelift I need liposuction on 7 areas ! So I’m confused hungry and stressing now . I get a calll about 5 minutes later from my Co ordinator ( whom I never actually saw ) saying I have to pay more money as it’s 7 areas . At this point I loose it … cry and walk out ! Just giving you a warning - 😞😞 the most shocking experience.
