Thank you to my solicitor Mike and Sarah his secretary for all their help and support to gain a successful settlement claim following a really horrific experience with a 'Beauty Professional'. They communicated with me throughout the process and advised me legally and listened to my concerns and took them seriously. Whilst the trauma of what happened at the hands of a dishonest and negligent person cannot be undone, at least there is a sense of justice that what happened to me was wrong and it hopefully prevents this woman from doing it again to someone else. A few years ago I had dental treatment that resulted in numerous problems. The dental surgeon took no ownership or responsibility for the poor quality of surgery that I was unfortunately was the victm of. This resulted in a lot of expense, frustration, pain and stress as I had to eventually have the issues resolved at an alternative dental surgery. I could not afford solicitor fees to seek compensation and a few dental compensation solicitors were not interested in my case on a no win no fee basis. This was a a vast improvement on the measly compensation that the dentist had offered which I felt was a 'silence me' token gesture. My claim was for breast surgery that went wrong, I was dealt with such care and support from Nick Payne and the team that there was no embarrassment or awkwardness that I originally feared. Nick took on my case where following a cryolipolysis treatment I was badly burned on both of my knee areas. He was rigorous, supportive and great at communicating to me various stages. Also an absolute expert in understanding this very specific area of the law. They employed an expert to get a prognosis for the burns and were willing to go to court should it have got that far. He persevered with my case for almost 2 years.
Eventually the salon settled out of court with a compensation which was satisfactory despite them being very difficult. I couldn't recommend Nick and the team highly enough.
