Crafter's Market UK Reviews 

I bought two handmade wooden page dividers for my daughter and I. Great quality product, crafted by a guy who clearly loves what he does (definitely not mass produced in China and sold on as "handmade"!) Fast dispatch, quick delivery.

I have been selling on Crafters Market UK since January 2024. It allows me to have my work seen. I think being a vendor on this site is excellent value. They do not take any commission and their subscription fee is extremely fair. The Crafters Market team make themselves available, are easy to reach, helpful and work hard for us vendors.
As with all things, including business, you need to make an effort yourself also.

What a wonderful site and team behind it.

I have a little shop with Crafter's Market and it's been a wonderful experience throughout. The team are supportive of any questions you may have (while working full time jobs elsewhere) and eager to support you.

New features are coming all the time, and if something you may use is being retired, there's plenty of warning on the associated sellers group on Facebook. The FAQs are great for getting you set up, and I have enjoyed the sellers perks. And the biggest bonus, NOT losing half my profits to fees!

Now I have to be honest here, if you are expecting the Etsy experience, with all it's push and marketing and reach, to simply put up your listings and sales roll in.... This is not the site for you. You pay such high fees on sites like Etsy to specifically get that experience. It is literally the price you pay.

However, if you are building your brand, your following, and putting effort into your little business, and want to pocket your profits, this site is for you. Marketing for yourself is never easy, but the new SEO tools are helping, and every sale is worth it.

I love that I am paying a fiver a month for my higher level membership. I couldn't run a website for that little, and I'd have to figure out all the bugs and troubles myself, when I am clueless as to how.

I love not having to compete with dropshippers, tat that has been 'upcycled', and being drowned out by all the 'materials' listings.

I love the Facebook groups and the lovely supportive community within them.

Its the platform that fits me and my needs perfectly and I'm planning to stay a long, long time.

Firstly, after a few tries, I find listing my handmade products very easy. I love that they have a vendor support group alongside their main group, vendors readily helping other vendors is a wonderful community spirit. As with any platform, sales depend on the amount of work you put into it and I’m confident that my sales will pick up fairly quickly. For only £5 a month and a few hours work a week, it will be a good complement to my craft fairs. Keep up the good work CMUK 😊

I was seriously considering joining Crafters Market UK, but after receiving a shockingly rude and unhelpful email from their team, I won’t be touching this platform — and I urge other makers to think twice too.

In the email, they essentially told me that if I paid for an annual Plus membership and didn’t make a sale, that’s just “unfortunate.” No accountability, no customer care — just blame shifted entirely onto me. They even implied my marketing strategy must be the problem without offering any constructive support.

Their message made it clear that unless you do your own heavy marketing, you likely won’t see results. They openly stated their site doesn’t have a strong internal customer base, which completely defeats the point of paying for exposure on a marketplace platform.

What’s worse? Their site design seems to clone aspects of Folksy, which raises red flags about originality and ethics.

If you're a crafter looking for genuine visibility, support, and a chance to actually sell, you're far better off sticking with platforms like Etsy, eBay, or Folksy. At least they don’t insult their sellers or hide the fact that you’ll need to do 90% of the work yourself.

Crafters Market UK is not a crafter-friendly space — it's a risk with little reward and even less respect.

UPDATE :- how rude you even shared my email this is against policy you had no right to share this and your email reply this was a private conversation and your reply is nothing what I had received this is pure evil and childish stunt to pull unprofessional of a company, i was just expressing my option's which is allowed i still think eBay ,Etsy and folksy are the best even though you don't get sales or its hard due to extra fees or holding onto funds i don't recommend anyone to leave these platforms for crafters market uk you shouldnt treat crafters in the way you did so im glad this happened so i can see what kind of company you are mistreating crafters is unacceptable not being bullied into removing anything i will only edit if i have to how im being treaded is very shocking any platform has there disadvantages i still remmended them over crafters market uk

Update im trying to get them to remove simple comments which shouldnt of been publicy made but its a childish thing to do never have i ever come across a company that public posts your personal email comments any company would never do this. Just wont amend or delete dont know why they wont never came across a company like it its plain evil and very childish STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

Still refuse to correct the problem never have i had in my lifetime a company to refuse to edited a couple of lines which should have never been made public as was a private coverstation so crafters be careful if you think you are having a private converstaion with crafters market uk as they invade your privacy and think thats ok.


Update this situation is causing me stress and to be ill but owners wont leave it just admit done wrong that's it, i have to focus on my family right now as they are not doing well so i cant be doing with this drama which it is I'm asking now to move on i never asked to be treated like this im a nice person i have done honest review all this happened because crafter market uk invaded my private conversations public how would everyone feel if something they discussed with someone then was made public of course im going to react im angry which it wasnt a nice thing to do this situation all they had to do was just reply as normal company would this is now closed on my end.

Please stay on etsy ebay and folksy as there customer support is fantastic.

Terrible selling platform
decided the platform wasn't for me so deleted all Items
and downgraded membership to basic three weeks ago and they still charged me for the plus subscription

Item delivered to the wrong address, which the seller accepted. Been waiting 2 weeks. Have now been told I should collect the item from the other address. Totally unacceptable and against distance selling regulations. The problem with small companies like this is that they don't know the law and there's no customer service. Buy elsewhere and save yourself a headache.

It was very personal, there was a hiccup with the p&p charges but Lee noticed before I did! The package arrived promptly, in time for my anniversary all lovely. I will use again!
