I recently took a workshop with Cas Holmes, hosted by CraftyMonkies. Cas is a fantastic artist who guided and inspired us on a mixed-media adventure using paper and fabric. She introduced us to new tools and methods to experiment with, encouraging us to explore and develop our own ideas. Having the workshop in two parts gave us plenty of time to think, experiment on our own, and then continue developing our pieces in Workshop 2, which I really appreciated.
This is the second time I've taken a workshop with CraftyMonkies. Rachel is a fantastic and wise host (do check out her Friday newsletter!), always helpful, friendly, and encouraging. I highly recommend CraftyMonkies, they offer a wonderful variety of workshops run by amazing artists.

I just love CraftyMonkies! I am part way through a year long course and am really enjoying it so far. I’ve also attended quite a number of zoom classes and they have all been amazing. Rachel is a wonderful host and puts her heart and soul into everything and the tutors are just fantastic!

Very friendly, helpful & informative courses, which are well explained, and you can ask questions throughput.
The retreats, which I have been to quite a few now, are always great & I love making new friends.

Great teacher explaining a great technique to sew points. I enjoyed and loved the inspiration and I am nearly finished with the top for a small quilt.

CraftyMonkies always have great classes. I had a great time in Gary’s class making my zip pouch from old blue jeans! You always learn something new and have a great time doing it. Rachel is amazing and we’re so lucky to have her organizing these classes and retreats!!!!

Another fabulous zoom from Craftymonkies (aka Rachel)! This time we had the pleasure of Michael Eason teaching and showing us his love of Improv EPP. Brilliant! He guided us through the process. From design, to organising the fabrics, to creating. I'm still working on my piece as it is all hand stitched, but will be completing it. Michael's inspired me with a new angle of quilting! Such good value for money!🥰🥰

Purchasing a class was very simple and straight forward.

A great platform to gain skills and confidence. Not only are artists great teachers, they also share their vast knowledge on how to accomplish things in their area of expertise, with ease. Excellent community for like minded people.

The class with Sarah Hibbert was excellent! I looked forward to this class for quite some time and it did not disappoint! I learned so much from Sarah and developed a new skill - hand piecing and quilting! Both Sarah and Rachel are the sweetest and kindest people! I will be taking more classes with Craftymonkies!

CraftyMonkies is a treasure chest of great classes, wonderful instructors, and flawless execution of live Zoom workshops. Rachel is always available during each Zoom to moderate the chat and deal with any issues that might arise.
I took Sarah Hibbert's workshop on handquilting in March, and it was excellent in every way. I highly recommend this workshop, if offered again.
Really, take any CraftyMonkies workshop and you will be signing up regularly!
