We enjoyed an amazingly well organised trip to the Philippines with craic on travels. Both of our guides, Roisin and Izzy were fabulous and took all the stress out of travelling for the group. Couldn’t recommend craic on travels more!!

I’ve just returned from the best trip to the Philippines with Craic on Travels. From the start Colin and Isabelle were so helpful with any questions I had. We had the best hosts, Roisin and Izzy. From the first day they made 18 strangers feel like best friends. Everything from start to finish was so well organised, plenty of activities but also lots of free time. Roisin and Izzy brought so much energy to the group.
I am so glad I went on this trip and would highly recommend using Craic on Travels. It was such an incredible experience and I’ve made best friends from it🤍 already thinking about the next trip!!

I had the best trip to the Philippines with Craic on. I met the best bunch of girls we all got on so well! Roisín and Izzy made the trip so stress free and so well organized. Couldn’t have asked for better, they were so sound and made sure everyone was always good and kept energy high throughout. Even on our downtime we spent it together.

Honestly it was such an unforgettable trip and I’ve made friends and memories for life🤩 so glad I picked Craic on and I will be going again! I highly recommend them!

I’ve just returned from the Island Escape Philippines trip and I’m honestly lost for words at how incredible it was. From the very beginning, Colin was amazing—always quick to answer any questions or concerns before the trip.

This is my second time travelling with Craic On Travels and once again, it was an incredible experience!

Isabelle and Colin create the most special and unique trips, including activities and stays that you wouldn't get on your usual group trip (like our stay at Tsumugu Guesthouse!) and because of this, they bring together such a lovely bunch of people to share the experience with! All of our activities in Japan were so thoughtfully put together, creating an itinerary that really gave us a sense of the country and the culture. Isabelle also had a few surprises up her sleeve that truly showed how much she cares about the trips she provides!

Our local guide, Taiga, was also a dream! He was so passionate about Japan, answered any questions we had and got involved in all of our activities, even our 5 hour long karaoke session! It wouldn't have been the same without him, he was such an integral part of our trip!

I highly recommend Craic On Travels, whether you're a seasoned traveller or just starting out on your journey! Their way of travelling can suit such a range of people, helping you form close connections and make friends for life all whilst seeing such a beautiful country! I'll definitely be travelling with them again :)

My first trip with Craic On exceeded every expectation I had and then some. I originally came across them on TikTok, saw a video about a Japan trip, and booked it on impulse. Honestly, if you are even half thinking about it, just go for it. It is the kind of decision you will thank yourself for later.

The itinerary struck the perfect balance between iconic sights and meaningful cultural experiences. Of course, you see the must visit spots, but what really sets it apart are the moments you would never plan on your own. Staying in a traditional farmhouse was a standout experience and gave a genuine insight into local life that you simply cannot replicate with a standard trip.

A huge part of what made the trip so special was our local guide, Taiga. He was incredible, knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely felt like one of the group rather than just a guide. It made everything feel more relaxed and authentic.

I have done solo travel before, but nothing quite like this. It is not really solo travel in the traditional sense. You arrive not knowing anyone, but very quickly you are surrounded by people who feel like old friends. By the end, you leave with a whole new circle of people and shared memories that make the experience even more meaningful.

Another massive credit goes to Isabelle, who went above and beyond throughout the trip. She had so many thoughtful surprises along the way that kept things exciting, and she created such a positive atmosphere for everyone. On a personal note, she was incredibly supportive during a few moments where I struggled with heights, which made a real difference and helped me fully enjoy the experience.

If I had to sum it up, this trip was more than just travel, it was the full craic. I will definitely be booking another trip, and I would recommend it to anyone considering it. Go on, take the leap. It might just be the best one you make.

This is my first time booking with Craic On Travels and I had an absolutely fantastic experience and can’t recommend them highly enough!! The trip to Japan was incredibly well organised from start to finish, and every excursion was so thoughtfully planned. It was very clear the itinerary was designed by experienced travellers who really know how to help people get the absolute most out of a trip, with so much care put into making every stop meaningful and memorable.

Isabelle was so wonderful. Welcoming, knowledgeable, and experienced, and she made the whole trip even more special with her friendliness and great energy. You could really feel how much passion and expertise she brought, and it made such a difference to the overall experience.

Our local guide Taiga was also amazing and added so much to an already incredible trip. His local insight, personality and guidance really enriched the experience and gave the trip an extra layer that you just wouldn’t get otherwise.

The trip schedule was excellent, hitting all the must-see spots while also taking us through different areas and including unique experiences, like the lovely farmhouse visit, which I can’t imagine would be included on most other tours. It felt so special and authentic.

The pace was full-on in the best possible way. We saw and did so much but it was also balanced really well with enough free time for our own exploration, which I really appreciated. It struck such a good balance between structure and independence.

Overall, an amazing experience with a fantastic group and exceptional guides. If you’re considering travelling with Craic On Travels, I would absolutely recommend it!! I'll definitely be booking with them again!!

It was my 1st time travelling with craic on travels and l with knowing what the itinerary is which I personally like as it certainly helps take the pressure off trying to figure it out on what we do and where we go, the whole experience exceeded beyond imagination of how good it was, Isabelle led the trip along with the ever so impressive and amazing tour guide tiaga and you couldn’t of met such wonderful and formative people both in professionalism and kindness, without them the trip would of never been as amazing as they made the dream of experiencing Japan one to remember for a lifetime and look back on it smiling and laughing with so many great memories, that plus along with the group I was with who were amazing people to get to know and share this experience with I couldn’t recommend enough of both taiga the tour guide for future tours and craic on travels itself, I hope to go on more adventures in the future with craic on.

I’m honestly blown away by my experience with Craic On Travels. I had never done a trip like this before and showed up not knowing a single person. By the end, I left with 10 new best friends and a full year of travel plans to keep the adventure going. I attended the Uganda trip with Craic on Travels in March/April 2026 and had an incredible experience. The schedule was jam‑packed and we genuinely did everything we possibly could — every day was full and exciting from start to finish. Everything was very well organised, and our guides, Chris, Ibrah, and Ivan, were extremely knowledgeable and brilliant at spotting animals on safari. Special shout out to Chris for answering all of my (many!) questions throughout the trip. The group itself was amazing, with a great sense of community. I’d highly recommend Craic on Travels and would absolutely book with them again.

I recently just finished my first ever Craic On Travels trip to Uganda. I’m lucky enough to say I’ve done my fair share of travel over the last 10 years but this trip tops them ALL! From start to finish the trip was incredible. It was fun, perfectly paced, a good mix of adventure and culture. I’ve never seen so much wildlife in my LIFE!! And we were lucky enough to have some of the BEST tour guides who were incredibly knowledgeable on all things safari! (Shoutout to Chris, Ibra and Ivan) SUCH LEGENDS!! You can see how much love Isabelle and Colin put into planning these trips. I’ve made friends for life and it won’t be my last craic on travels adventure- that’s for sure!!

Just home from an amazing trip with Craic on Travels to Uganda. Everything was organised really well, and we got to do so much in the 11 days that we were there. Our local guides Chris, Ibrahim and Ivan were really helpful, knowledgeable and fun - Always happy to answer our many many questions!
The safari experience itself was incredible - We got to see gorillas, rhinos, chimpanzees, giraffes, zebras, pumbas and many more. We even got close to a lion thanks to Chris assessing where he would end up!
What really made the trip was all of the people on it. We had so much fun, and it genuinely felt like we knew each other a lot longer than the 11 days we spent together. The craic was craicing!
If you're thinking of booking on to one of their trips... do it!

My trip to Uganda was incredible. It was jam-packed with so many unique experiences from start to finish and I would highly recommend to anyone. Our tour lead (Robyn) and local guides (Chris, Ibrahim and Ivan) were outstanding. We had an amazing group and cannot wait to meet up again in the future.

This was my first group travel tour and I wasn’t sure how it was going to go but it quickly became clear that this was going to be a trip of a lifetime, which it was!!

Everyone in our group arrived at our first destination before the first official day and instead of leaving us at the lodge we were organised to go on a shoebill experience, this showed to me that Craic On Travels has a high attention to detail and tries to give us the best experience possible. Furthermore, our tour guides for the trip, Chris, Ibrah and Ivan were nothing but exceptional. They had an expansive knowledge about the local areas, cultures and were also able to answer any question about any animal and along with this they were very friendly and able to keep us entertained, especially on the 7+ hour travel days.

As a whole this trip was very extremely well organised and gave me a huge insight into different cultures in Uganda and also gave the experience of seeing wild animals in their natural habitat, and I am certain that because of this trip I will definitely be going somewhere else with Craic On Travels as well as visiting Uganda again.

This was most definitely the best trip of my life, between the amazing group, jam packed schedule with fantastic activities and the unbelievable guides. We were kept busy every day, with each day bringing even better activities and accommodations which we didn’t think was possible. The food was also unreal every place we ate! Chris, Ibrah and Ivan could not have been more attentive and even the 7 hour car journeys were great craic with them. I would highly recommend doing this trip with this company and these guides 100%.

I had an amazing time in Vietnam with Craic On Travels! I was so impressed by the thought and care that Isabelle and Colin have put into creating these trips with a focus on ethical travel and supporting local businesses. Everything was so well planned allowing us to see so much of this beautiful country in a relatively short time.

Our guides Roisin and Sunny ensured everything went smoothly as well as sharing stories and local knowledge that really brought the country to life. As well as getting to experience this amazing country, getting to share this experience with new friends was really special.
