I was automatically charged to renew without any notification alerting me and my PayPal account was charged $120. I responded to the email hello at cravebooks dot com that announced my subscription had been renewed. I requested cancellation. I couldn’t find a response for some reason. I Googled Cravebooks contact and found the email address info at cravebooks dot com and subsequently forwarded my original email request and added new information. This time I got a quick email acknowledgement that my email was received. Shubi responded quickly confirming that I will be issued a complete refund. I appreciate that. Although I have not gained any value from this membership, other authors might. I admit that I didn’t really put effort into trying to make this work. My assessment is that this service requires extra effort and time and possibly additional money in order to be effective.

Scam company avoid they take money no return on investment. They also will sell data to third partys or thats what I can only assume due to spam emails afterwards. Refuse to refund even after not responding to tickets during sale there is no point afterwards is there whencmy sale has ended. Avoid at all costs terrible company. If you want to advertise your book use other plaforms everyone on their site do nothing and waste your money. Terrible company of scammers.

I spent over £200 on promotions and some of the most expensive ones LitNuts and ebookfairs never even advertised my book online or in the newsletter that I paid for. I have raised two tickets one for each issue and it seems I am just being ignored. I have two more newsletters to go out later today we will see if they even do. I have lost complete faith in Cravebooks for its lack of support with this especially when spending a large amount on promotion and using them previously. If I am not refunded for the multiple promotions I didn't receive after paying money I will be contacting my bank to retrieve the money. It had also pretty much destroyed my promotion with the biggest newsletters not even bothering in sharing my book. I am extremely disappointed for anyone curious I spread my promotions over multiple days to get an idea which ones worked and which ones didn't. And I can honestly say after 12 sales for £200 its not even worth it and I cant even guarantee those sale were from the newsletters as I advertise on Facebook aggressively and generally have natural sales each month. A once good service ruined by poor service and scam newsletters they associate with.

Update - As to the previous reviewer who mentioned spam as of 16th Feb my phone number has now been spoofed which i hold cravebooks responsible for as my email has been bombarded with spam and now my phone number is being spoofed. I highly suggest people avoid this website or at the bare minimum the sites they promote as at least one of them is selling your information.

I booked a $16 promo with E-reader Girl, run by Cravebooks. The webpage is what I'd consider poor quality, with ebooks in a wide variety of genres, many of them with poor quality, self-made covers. I sold only one copy of the book on sale; with other romance ebook promo newsletters I've had higher ROI for a lower or comparable fee. Worst of all, it's clear they sold my data. From the date I booked the promo, there's been a sharp increase in spam emails from book promotion scammers using AI pitches. Highly recommend you avoid this organization. Wish I'd done more research. Lesson learned!
EDITED TO ADD: As you can see below, Shubhi, owner of CraveBooks, insists the sudden increase of spam "book marketer" emails that started on the date of my original booking is a coincidence. As to the unsatisfactory results, she offered to rebook that same book for a 2/9/26 romance specific promo and assured me I'd see better results. It's 2/11/26, and I've had zero sales on that book. For reference, another promo earlier this month, same book, same 99¢ price, resulted in over 100 sales. In addition, Shubhi has not answered my email from 2/9 asking what happened. So once again, I'm a very dissatisfied customer and would advise authors to think twice before paying CraveBooks for any so-called promo.

Shubhi was very good at explaining everything to me. She helped me to see what I needed to change and how I can post my books more effectively on the Cravebook site. She was excellent

CraveBooks delivers results, and provides excellent support and assistance. They're a real breath of fresh air.

Working with CraveBooks, and Shubhi, is a breath of fresh air in the book promotion space. Not only do they get great results, but their service levels are outstanding. I could not recommend them highly enough.

I paid 9 dollars to promote my children's coloring book on a website dedicated to children and I haven't received any orders from it. A waste of money.
edit: I am waiting 3 days for the money refund and nothing...

Been very helpful in navigating the platform. be patient if they are not online right away, someone will get back to you. Many features cool promos that actually work and build a list!!

Crave Books is impressive, and I love promoting my books through their easy system. I highly recommend it for authors to use.

CraveBooks provides an incredible service to indie authors. The opportunities it provides helped me to grow my email list from 72 to more than 3000 in just five months. In addition, they provide a lot of opportunities to learn a lot about marketing books.

I am an indie author with 12 books published. When I launch a book or run a book sale, I always run CraveBooks Daily Deal promotions. It always gets new readers to see and buy my books (and it's super easy to use). I highly recommend making CraveBooks a part of every author's marketing strategy.

I feel CraveBooks has provided me with great customer service. I asked them to set up a promotion package, and they did. I sure it helped me get over 900 of my books out during my 4 day promotion.

Great site and service! I use it for my Children's books. I've been taking advantage of their reader magnet feature to help build my email list and the list builders are great, too!

They've been super helpful in getting my email list started with a strong base of readers.

Plus, it's super easy to run a promotion. Your data is saved so you just have to click on the book your want to promote then click on the promotions you want to run :)

I found that giving away books did not increase sales. I had over 1500 email lists and followed through with emails. it didn't help my book.An explanation could be beneficial for other authors who are promoting their books. My book caters to a specific Christian audience and serves as a self-help guide on dealing with abuse, which means it may not resonate with everyone. Despite having a substantial number of email addresses from Cravebooks, I reached out to them with polite and straightforward emails to further engage with the audience. Unfortunately, I did not receive any response at all. This led me to believe the list may not have been targeted enough for my book. Additionally, I discovered that reasonably priced, targeted email lists are available for purchase online. This worked better for me as I was able to build a private following. Since giving away books didn’t seem to help, I wanted to cancel giving away further books but didn’t realize once you signed up for the giveaways, canceling it was difficult. However, the company did reach out to me, and we resolved the situation. My situation should not affect another novelist who might need a more general audience. Cravebooks created nice ads and kept my book out in public through continuous campaigns. That is always helpful, and I would be happy to use them again. Promoting books is difficult, and using several sources can be very beneficial. Thank-you.

Love the options given on the site. And the giveaways are amazing. I won a giveaway with the Kindle Fire 7.

This site is excellent for authors. It is designed to help them reach readers in their genre. And the staff provides personal assistance to hep get the most out of the services offered. Within the first month I have already seen results of joining.
