CS Lofts completed a hip to gable + dormer loft conversion for us in autumn 2024 and we couldn't be happier with it!

Benni was our contact throughout and was always on hand to respond to our questions in the WhatsApp group regardless of time of day. He and the team were exceedingly professional and polite throughout the entire build. When one leg of the scaffolding needed to be put up in our elderly neighbor's garden, he commented on how polite the team who spoke to him were which meant a lot to us.

The team were always considerate of our house and minimised the disruption to our day to day lives in any way they could. The build was rapid from start to finish being less than 2.5 months and it always felt that we were a priority.

Benni was courteous and professional whenever we spotted a snag or something we wanted edited and made sure that the loft was converted exactly how we wanted it.

Of the 3 companies we got to quote, CS Lofts were by far the most professional; the only ones to suggest having the staircase over our existing one (far better than our original plan); and came in with the best price.

If you're considering getting a loft conversion, I'd highly recommend CS Lofts.

We recently had our loft completed in our Victorian terrace by CS lofts and really couldn't recommend them more. The quality of the finish is excellent but, equally as important, their communication skills, the way the project is managed and their professionalism was second to none. The quality of work done by the CS Lofts team exceeded my expectations. There was a slight delay starting the work, but once the work was started it was clear that the team was skilled and competent in their work. In addition to this the guys were all pleasant to have around. We recommend CS Lofts 100% if they need similar work done. The cost of the work was also very competitive.

Our experience of C & S lofts was an extremely good one. We would not hesitate to recommend them. Every member of the team was reliable, punctual and respectful throughout. Nothing was too much trouble. We chose them because they understood our needs, were easy to talk to and their price was competitive. They carried out the work within the agreed time frame. Alex and Tyler were amazing, so professional and hard working, lovely boys, a pleasure to have them do the work. We were particularly impressed with the architect’s design, which maximised our loft space beautifully, resulting in a large bedroom, a small boiler room, an airing cupboard, and a bathroom. They also changed our ground floor staircase to correspond with the loft stairs creating an amazing feature, we’ve had many compliments. The chimney was also removed. Luke, the carpenter, is a true craftsman who designed a clever cupboard under the stairs. He was not only skilled but a really nice person, happy to make any last minute changes. The entire team was tidy and minimised dust and disruption. Richard and Sam were always available, and the WhatsApp group they set up was very helpful. Godfrey handled the snagging with impressive results. Overall, it was a positive and manageable experience.

We had a fantastic experience with CS loft while they built a mezzanine for us. From start to finish, their team was professional, skilled, and incredibly easy to work with. The project was completed on time, and they maintained a tidy workspace throughout, which we really appreciated. Communication was smooth, and they kept us informed every step of the way. We contracted CS Loft for a 2 bedroom & 1 bathroom loft. Rich was over for an initial meeting where he helped by talking with our neighbours, and the works started soon after. We can safely say that Luke, Luke and all the builders were extremely professional and worked very hard to a very high standard. We didn’t move out during the works, and all the builders were extremely loyal, very hardworking and very polite throughout the weeks they were here every day! We are very pleased with our new loft and would not hesitate to recommend them.

We were really happy with CS lofts and our loft conversion. They did the bulk of the job really quickly and everyone on the team was very friendly and professional. We could have done with a schedule to help with organising access, but communication as we went along was responsive.

It took us a long time to have the confidence to go through another extension after our previous single extension build experience was a disaster and cost us extra thousands and years to get right again. We did not need to worry, CS Lofts are amazing, professional and so friendly. They were able to support us and answer every question and even make last minute changes for us. The loft is stunning, so well built compared to our old house’s loft conversion. My regret? I wished I booked them a year earlier when I first contacted them. I was still nervous as we are a deaf family so communication and trust was important to us. I didn’t need to worry and I absolutely recommend them to anyone who wants to have their loft converted.

I am very glad we found CS lofts. They arrived on time every day, the team were so helpful and came up with some creative ides along the way. The communication was excellent and we were kept fully informed of progress and what trades where arriving when.
The team were tidy and also thoughtful when it came to our young children (keeping stairways safe etc).
Their price was competitive and finished at exactly the cost they quoted. Finally and most importantly we love our new loft space, every finish was 5 star standard and we would recommend them without hesitation.

CS Loft did our loft conversion and they were fantastic. Ben and Benni managed the project and were very proficient. Even through it was a big loft with 15 meter dormer, 2 bedrooms, bathroom, dressing room and big landing space, still they were able to complete the whole project in 2.5 months and while we were still living in the property. The cost at the end was exactly the same as initial quote + optional extras that we opted. These guys are the benchmark for good builders!!
