CVMaker is a scam and their asnwers to your reviews are part of it
CVMaker is a scam. They charged $0,95 for a CV and took $21 from my credit card a month later as payment for a monthly subscription. After I complained to their customer service, they explained that the initial payment of $0,95 (99RSD) was for a 7-day trial, after which a monthly subscription is automatically activated. They covered themselves by explaining that this is stated on their website - no doubt the text is hidden somewhere in fine print. Needless to say, they did not pay me back, so I reported the fraudulent transaction to my bank. This company doesn't have a contact phone number or direct email address; they allegedly have headquarters in Amsterdam. You can only communicate with their support team through their platform; all emails they send are templates. I have previously been scammed like this by what turned out to be an Indian company (PDF Simply); luckily, they failed to take my money as I did not have sufficient funds in my account.
*Update: As we can see, CVMaker just replied to this review with an empathy statement about their fraudulent charge and advised me to contact their support center, which I already did, I stated it in this very review. They do this on all one-star reviews to make it seem they are a legitimate business. Trustview doesn't have the option to reply to a reviewed company's answer so a scammer's "we understand, we're looking into it" is going to be the last message on your post, and CVMaker is counting on it.
