Robert, Mechanic did an excellent Standard Service on my bike. Replaced front brake pads, adjusted back ones and gears and new handle bar grips. No more squeaks and rubs on wheels.

Shocking customer service would advise anyone not to spend their money at that shop

Bike clean and ready on collection and stored for a week so my daughter didn't spot it in the garage. Even installed a stand whilst collecting as it didn't have one. The only downside is the lack of comms on the recall for the free 6 week service. Most people are busy so a follow up would be great and a more personal touch. No issues with anything else.

Very happy with the service, product & price. Delivery was fast.

Went to cycle king to get my toddlers bike fixed after I had fitted a parent handle bar to the bike and managed to cross thread a nylon lock nut which was now just turning round and impossible to get off and the handle was now very loose and I could not tighten it up and now the whole rear wheel assembly was loose so I needed a fix immediately and gave cycle king a ring who were very polite and said no probs bring your child's bike to us straight away and we can try to fix the bike.

Got to the store and was seen straight away with repairs being done straight away, next thing I knew I had three technicians working out how to fix my child's bike which was all done in a very polite and very professional manner explaining everything they were doing ECT.

Long story short they managed to get the parent handle off of my child's bike make the safety checks on the bike to make sure it was safe to be ridden and reattached the parent handle correctly to my child's bike and they even adjusted the stabilizers and just checked the whole bike over for me as well whilst their.
I was sooo great ful they had managed to fix the bike that I had though I had ruined as this was a brand new bike i had bought which was a build at home bike or wait a week for the store to do it. My daughter wanted her bike straight away so I took the bike in a box home and assembled it their which was ok, but in my mind I was like is this bike truly ok as id put it together myself.

BUT I just wish I had gone to their shop first at cycle king as they have any bike ready to go fully serviced and safety checked and ready to go within 20 minutes if you purchase a bike from them. My peace of mind would of been better too as well if I had gone their to get my bike lol.

I asked them how much they wanted to charge me afterwards for the work ECT and they only wanted paying for the parts they had used to fix the bike problem and did not charge me for their labour either which I was totally amazed at as they could of done that, I was soooooo soooooo happy with the entire experience that I will now only go their for my own bike needs and repairs and for when I need to get a bigger bike when my daughter out grows this current bike.

Sold me an electric scooter, under a cycle-to-work scheme voucher, which they should not have done, as this was not allowed under the cycle to work scheme. I was not aware of this at the time. 6 months later it set alight and battery melted. they repaired. another 7 months later it set alight and melted again. the manufacturers replaced it for a brand new unit, as cycle king did not want to help at all. 3 months later, exact same issue, set alight and melted. Now the manufacturers are hinting that they would be happy to do a refund but it needs to be done by cycle king. Cycle king just keep stating that it is out of warranty. When my issue is Consumer Rights. Not fit for purpose. and did not work for a satisfactory length of time.
I used the scooter 5 times a week, twice a day, to commute to and from work.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. They even went all out to have my review removed. So edited and reposted.

It is very inconvenient not to be able to pre-book repairs, even if offering to pay a deposit at the time of booking. The system is that you have to take the bike into the shop for someone to look at it (no appointment possible) and then book it in for another day to be repaired. Having to find two days instead of one to be off work and without the bike is not customer-friendly.

I've bought my only three bikes from Cycle King in Bedford and always had good advice and service.The price off my last mountain bike was unbeatable.
I have returned frequently for help and always found the staff to be knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Today they fixed my front wheel issue in five minutes and wouldn't accept payment.

Clik and collect. Spot on. I have been here a few times. An excellent local cycle shop. Very knowledgeable staff. No question is to difficult for them. The same item was £25 more expen̈sive in the major cycle store in bedford

A misunderstanding about me turning up to collect was no bother, I took away the display one after it had a slight repair and checkover. I also changed the order slightly and they were quick, polite helpful and knowledgeable.

False advertisement, broken bearings not replaced. Very poor quality.
