Shipped to Australia knowing it would be seized — no refund, no response
I ordered from cyclonepods.com on 27 June 2026 (order 173090), shipping to Australia. The order was accepted, charged, and shipped — but vaping products, including nicotine-free ones, have been prohibited imports into Australia since March 2024. The parcel was seized by the Australian Border Force on 10 July and destroyed, which I can document with the official seizure notice. Cyclone Pods accepted my Australian address and shipped anyway, taking my money for goods that could never legally be delivered. When I contacted support about non-delivery, they asked for my order number and then went silent. I sent a formal written refund request on 21 July giving them 7 days — no reply, no refund. The only emails I have received since are automated marketing messages asking me to review products I never received. I have now lodged a chargeback with my bank. Australian customers: do not order from this store. Your parcel will be seized at the border and the company will not refund you.
Update: recovered in full via bank chargeback; the merchant refused to refund to the end
