The delivery timeframe was extended…

The delivery timeline was unexpectedly prolonged, and there was a noticeable absence of shipping updates. Furthermore, the package arrived with insufficient packaging, resulting in damage.

Update: A discount has been provided for a controller, which reinforces my confidence in the customer service team, as their performance has been consistently satisfactory. We await the arrival of the controller to assess its condition.

When all had none there was D1

When all other stores was sold out of this drone only package, D1 was the only 1 that had a pre-order available.. and i was lucky to get 1 in as soon as the release on the 9th April i was happy that I didnt have to wait for long.. thank you

the battery had zero charge

the battery had zero charge. This is not a healthy battery. i dont know how long the battery had a zero charge and if any permanent damage has been done to it. Time will tell.

Be aware with free VIP service

Be aware! I bought a new Osmo Action 5 pro and received the VIP service for free with the order. That's where they set up the device prior to shipping. That's all very kind. However, when I received the device it was already bound to another DJI account which means that I cannot bind the device to my account.
It has been 3 days of back and forwards with their customer support and still no solution. I also reached out to the official DJI store and they confirmed that the device is already bound to a different email address. However, because of date protection they are not allowed to provide my with the email that is bound to.

It's been insane and hope the D1 store will figure something out soon. Otherwise the device is going back.

Great service in the end

It was disappointing that the camera failed after minimal use and that, at first, they wanted me to pay full replacement cost. On the other hand, it was great that they then agreed to replacement without cost, including postage.

Just Great!

Very pleased. It arrived a couple of days after purchase. There was no one home so it went to post office. But this was good as it was placed in a secure collection box rather than require queing etc..

Very annoyed to have to do one flight
Of stairs .

I politley asked how big is the box
he responded "come down and have a look"!!!

He also added " don't you have a husband!!!!!!

The people in the store
Especially the manager
failed to address a promised they
made ....I was promised if What I had purchased was not delivered by the
7th April I would be given a full refund.
I returned the following day and was denied this outcome...
The manager would not give me back my original copy of my purchase which I had given to her I demanded it back as it is my only
Proof of purchase ...I told her take a pic ture of it and she replied if I walk
out with the receipt she would
she would not stop the item to be
delivered!!!!
I told her there was evidence that
I was promised a refund they have
Security vedios....she replied no audio!!!!
2000 dollars purchase ...time lost
time taken off work family trying to
help with a late delivery.
I endeavoured to call the store no answer....I left messanges for a call
back as well as trying to ring several
numbers in melboure to see the status off the delivery..
As a senior person I felt I had no voice ... it's very disappointing that
they just don't care I can only speak
of my experience.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience — we're truly sorry to hear about the difficulties you've encountered, and we want to address each part of your feedback directly.

Regarding the delivery driver's conduct: the comments you described are completely unacceptable, and we sincerely apologise that you were made to feel that way. However, we do need to be transparent — our deliveries are carried out by Direct Freight Express, an independent courier company. We have no authority over their staff's behaviour, and we'd strongly encourage you to raise a formal complaint directly with Direct Freight so it can be addressed at their end. We're happy to provide their contact details if needed.

On the delivery timeframe: we completely understand your frustration, especially over the Easter period. We want to be upfront — we did attempt to recall the shipment during the Easter period, however by that point it had already been processed and was staged for delivery, making a recall no longer possible. Our records show the courier was instructed to collect on the 2nd of April, but the actual pickup didn't occur until the 7th — that delay was outside our control. It was then delivered on the 9th, which was prompt. We recognise that doesn't make the outcome any less inconvenient for you, and we're sorry.

Regarding your refund: Our standard policy requires goods to be returned before a refund is processed — this protects both parties and ensures the process is completed correctly. If the item is still unopened, you're welcome to return it either in-store or by sending it back to us, and we will process your full refund promptly upon receipt.

Please don't hesitate to contact us directly at support@d1store.com.au and we'll make sure this is handled with the attention it deserves. Over the easter period, our offices were also closed, which did not help your situation when contacting us.

We're sorry this experience fell so far short of what you deserved as a customer.
