I was asked to pay a deposit and assured my seat has been confirmed and given the option of paying in instalments within a period of one month. I completed payment within two weeks and asked for my ticket to be issued. I got a mail asking me to confirm my flight details before 12pm at 10.57am. I was at work and was eventually able to replicate about 1:00pm. To my surprise, I was told that due to the delay in my response, there has been an increase in taxes and airfare to double of what I had paid. I was now dealing with a different agent who tries to give me other flight options that did not meet my needs. I asked for a refund because I had lost all confidence in the company. This was issued after deduction £100.
It was a very bad experience and hard lessons learned. I was offered the ticket for £650 and told to pay a deposit of 50 on 23/8/25. At that time, it was £827 booking directly from the airline. I thought it a good deal and went for it because I was given the option of instalment by 8/9/25, the fare was £977 from the airline and Dana’s was offering same ticket for£1250. I lost £100 dealing with this company and the delay cost me an additional money to get the ticket directly from the airline.

I would advised the company representatives to always let the customers know from the beginning that paying in instalment would mean paying a higher airfare. I read the reviews here and I wish I had listened. I would ask prospective customers to be mindful of this clause when dealing with them

This company is operated by scammer and thieves Do not use this company they will look for ways to get more money off you they are a scam using legal ways to steal money of their customers
They sent 6 email to confirm my name and it was correct time to issue ticket they purposely spell my name wrong and say I confirmed its correct it yo spell my name correctly in all email why spell it wrong in the Ticket thats no honest mistake its a mistake done on purpose and they can even show me the supposed issued Ticket in the wrong bame

Um, this company is a thiefing company, so I booked a ticket with them. I have paid up the money I need to pay. They have sent me up to 10 emails with my name, correct name, middle name, surname. When it's time to issue the ticket, they purposely spelt my name wrong, just so they can get some money off me extra to collect to correct the name. Rather, I spoke to BA and BA confirm that the ticket has not been issued, hence they can correct the name. But the company is insisting that I pay 740 pounds, which is a difference between what I paid before and what I will need to pay now to get the name corrected. For your peace of mind, I would advise to not book any tickets with them. They are thieves. They have done everything to frustrate me, just because I booked a ticket with them again. Do not book anything with this company. I'm still talking to them, even the ticket that they supposedly have issued with the wrong name they cannot provide. This is because it's not existing. BA has confirmed that there is no ticket issued in that booking reference. It's the ticket has not been paid for the ticket has not been issued. Hence they can change the name and it will not cost anything, but they are insisting that I have to pay to change the name. I've asked them to give me the ticket with the wrong name. Let me go to ba myself and go and change still they can't provide

I really enjoyed my flight booking experience with Damastravels as they were so helpful during this times. Even when I have to cancel my first booking and rescheduled another one, Anna was always there to help. She even booked me ticked with their money as I paid back the following day, when they don’t know me😮.

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and dissatisfaction with the services provided by your agency, specifically with Agent John. The sequence of events that transpired has led to a significant lack of trust in your agency's ability to deliver satisfactory services.

*Summary of Events*

1. I was referred to your agency and subsequently contacted them to book a direct flight.
2. I selected a suitable flight, paid the full amount, and was asked by Agent John to wait 20 minutes for the ticket.
3. However, I did not receive any communication from Agent John until the next day, when he informed me that the flight price had increased by £400.
4. Agent John presented me with two options: paying the additional £400 in £100 instalments or opting for a connecting flight with an additional fare.
5. Agent John claimed that he attempted to reach me via phone calls the previous night and morning, stating that my number was not connecting. He asserted that he needed my passport details, which puzzled me, as we had been communicating via WhatsApp chats, and he could have requested my passport at any point during our initial interactions.
6. I verified that my phone was functioning properly, and I did not experience any network issues during that time.
7. I spoke with Eva, who suggested waiting until after September to secure a ticket at a similar price. However, I am unwilling to wait, as this is not a guaranteed solution.
8. I declined both options presented by Agent John, as I am unwilling to pay the additional £400 and insist on booking a direct flight.
9. I requested a full refund, which I believe is justified given the circumstances.

*Independent Verification*

Upon conducting my own research, I discovered that the airline offers flights at a significantly lower price than what your agency quoted at later stage. This discrepancy has further exacerbated my dissatisfaction with your agency's services and got me frustrated.

*Expectation of Resolution*

I hope that your agency will acknowledge the shortcomings in the service provided and take immediate action to address my concerns. I expect the balance of my refund for the services that were not delivered as expected. this company is fraud. it operates as travel agency. it requests client to make an initial deposit for flight, with the balance paid on instalment. they state that the initial deposit is to hold or pin down the seat and that the fare woud remain same as long as a person has paid the initial deposit.
truth is the company will come up with excuses such as - the flight is no longer available, if at all, the fare has increased, they tell you to pay the difference, they further present alternative flight itinerary requesting you to pay the difference and also charge admin fee, they also claim there is airport tax etc.
their basic aim is to frustrate the process, so that clients would request a refund from which they (DAMAS TRAVEL) would deduct £100 (cancellation fee) from whatever fund there is in their custody.

It''s highly imperative to warn the general public against this fraudsters operating as a corporate organisation.

My travelling was an emergency one and I needed to get to my destination before 24 hours of the time of booking (talking about almost a 7 hours direct flight), I have always done my flight bookings myself before this, but I was just under pressure on how to get to my destination within the next 24 hours while my wife was helping with the search and she was the one that discovered Damastravels and Eva, who was a blessing because I do not think I would have been able to make it in time without Eva's help.
Eva gave me all the available options and when we did agreed on one, she was also concerned about me making it to the airport just in time to be able to board the flight.
She was doing the paper works and did asked me to confirm if the information was in order while I was packing my luggage for the journey.
I am really grateful I stumbled across Damastravels and Eva because it was a life saver.

I usually book my flights myself whenever I have the full amount available. However, this time I didn’t, so I decided to try Damastravels, as they offered the option to pay in two instalments — which was very convenient.

Damas is a SCAM COMPANY!!! Stay away from them at all cost.

I posted a review of the bad experience I had with them where I booked a flight ticket and was told I can pay with card and they later told me they will not accept card payment and would only accept bank transfer.

They replied to my review and said to contact them but trust me I did and guess what??? They did not respond to any of my emails. They are rogues and have ignored all my request for a refund of my deposit.

Please don't be fooled by the positive reviews you see here, they are fake reviews!!!

They have to stop defrauding people and I have reported them to Action Fraud. Everyone needs to report them so they can stop defrauding other people.

From a customer perspective, I had a great experience with the Damas team. Their customer centric attitude and service quality is commendable.

I just had a bad experience with them. They gave me a reasonable price and they send me a link to pay in instalment when I did not ask. I asked the lady I had few issues in the past that to pay in instalment and after they raised the price of the ticket with some nonsense excuse. She said “No I promised you we are well reputed company, the price I’m offering will be the final price. Lately they sent me an email where I have to pay the rest within 2 hrs which I did just after completing the amount. One of their manager called me to tell me that there’s an airport tax to add but he’s trying to do his best so the amount is less to add. I messaged that lady, Janet, and told her what’s happening with my ticket. She just said it’s not in her hand anymore, I have to deal with her manager. After the manager sent another invoice adding £400 on the same flight, I went mad thinking I asked that question before dealing with them. Oh it’s the airline asking for that tax not them. 30 years I’m travelling all around the world and always booked my ticket on line. Then I asked for a refund coz I don’t want to continue with this, they took £155 charges. Same day I booked with emirates where they offered me £59 more than the offer I received from Damas. So disappointed experience, I don’t know how genuine are they or it’s their way to steal people but that’s a lesson to not deal with small travel agency. Please be careful people when they asked to pay ticket in instalment, I know many people being encouraged with instalment that why they are playing that kind of game. 😡😡

The company is helpful in creating an avenue for someone to pay instalment. The company is helpful in finding an affordable flight. There processes are straight and there is no hidden charge in it. I love the process and the person who attended (Janet) to me was calm and acted professionally.
