I would not hesitate to shop at this stores website again. The once great highstreet stores that are now a shadow of their former selves should follow this stores example.
I ordered an aftershave in EDP. When I received my order, it was actually EDT aftershave. Upon questioning my order, I was initially told that it was human error & that I could return the aftershave. As it was a Christmas present I chose to keep it. I had to send photos in to customer service of the aftershave I’d received. A return email stated that the product in my hand was actually the product that I’d ordered. So I’m at a loss as to who is telling the truth in the customer service department. I won’t be shopping here again.
So even after their reply on here. I’m still no further forward with my complaint. The most annoying thing is, I could have saved myself money just buying the EDT in the first

We visited Windsor staying overnight to see the castle and stumbled across this gem of a place. We ended up purchasing a new sofa, table and chairs and accent chair from the store. We thought the customer service was excellent at the time and appreciated the quality of the goods on sale. What we were most impressed with was the aftercare. Our cat had an accident on the new cream sofa just one week after receiving which resulted in us having to wash one of the covers. Unfortunately after washing part of the seam had come away which was disappointing. I emailed Elizabeth who had been so helpful when we visited the store and explained what had happened. She contacted the manufacturer and arranged for them to send us a replacement cover as a gesture of goodwill. Absolutely outstanding service! Have recommended the company to many people who are going to make the trip to Windsor just to visit this store. Thank you Elizabeth, much appreciated.

The customer service was exceptional. I purchased an item only to get it home to realise that it was the wrong colour. The staff at Daniel were brilliant at resolving this and putting the customer at the heart of the experience. Very rare in these times. Thank you!

This product was ordered on Wednesday and delivered by Royal Mail on Saturday. It was well protected in bubble wrap and arrived in perfect condition. Daniel’s of Windsor kept me updated about the progress of my order.
A very impressive experience and I would order from them again.
Bought a beautiful William Morris throw from Daniels online, it arrived super quick and packaged well. The price was great also. Always a bonus to support an independent business too. Thank you
We’ve been regular customers at Daniels, but our recent return experience was extremely disappointing. After buying a discounted dress for £15, we returned to the store only to be sent from till to till — apparently, only one person is allowed to handle returns, leading to long waits and confusion.
When we finally got to the right person, we were told the item couldn’t be returned because it had a discount over 50%. This "policy" was never explained at the time of purchase, and only mentioned later as being printed in tiny font on the back of the receipt. When we pointed this out, the staff member rudely said, “Why would we tell you? You should read it.”
Even when we asked for an exchange, we were told it must be done immediately — no credit notes or flexibility, even when we were pressed for time. The attitude was dismissive and inflexible throughout. When challenged, we were told, “We’re a family-run business — we have our own rules.”
This is not the level of customer service we expect, especially from a store we've supported for years. We left feeling frustrated and unwelcome. Sadly, we’ll be rethinking future visits.

Ordered an item online. The website was brilliant and the process of ordering was easy. I was kept updated on delivery and received my package really quickly. I was initially concerned because of the review rating but I can’t fault them. Would definitely recommend and use Daniel again.

Daniel has always had the best toy department today was no exception. Cherry on the top was the brilliant expert help I got today from Calvin C. Calvin helped me navigate the department to find the best birthday presents for my 6 year old Grandson.

I won't buy anything expensive from Daniels again after realising their returns policy is only 14 days! I know this is legal, but it's not exactly great customer service having to rush back within 2 weeks to take something back.

The company failed to complete the order. I had an email two days later saying the item I purchased was no longer available and that they’d cancelled the order. There’s obviously an issue with their stock control and website if it allowed me to purchase the item in the first place. I wasn’t going to hold it against them, but they’ve emailed me three times asking for feedback, so here you go…
