We are overjoyed to have chosen this team for our wedding. The entire planning and coordination were done from Germany and were incredibly easy and smooth – we enjoyed every moment. One day before the wedding, we met in person to discuss the final details. The team is simply charming! The wedding was beautifully magical: the team prepared everything with so much love and created an indescribable atmosphere. For us, it was the perfect day. We always wanted to get married in Denmark, if possible, on Aeroe, since it has been our happy-place for so long. Yuki helped us make our dream come true: She has been amazing in supporting us through our wedding-journey, she has been warm and heartfelt and helped us having our wedding exactly the way we always dreamed of. Yuki and her team at Danish Island Weddings are a true breath of fresh air! They made our whole experience deeply meaningful, personal and all in a very short window of time as we had scheduled our ceremony very last minute. Theirs is a well oiled machine which really allowed us to enjoy the day rather than stress about anything. We were given excellent recommendations on travel, accommodations, dining, an amazing photographer and really anything we had a question about. My new husband and I are from the US and their care and concern kept the process easy! They even advocated for our approval with the AFL, as we had been stuck in the long application process. We love Danish Island Weddings and wouldn't change a thing if we had to do it all over again.

Louise, Yuki and John were all so attentive, kind, and thoughtful throughout the entire process of planning and organising our wedding. Right from our initial enquiries, Yuki (wedding planner) and Neli (photographer) made the planning of our elopement wedding straightforward and stress-free: they quickly tuned in to what we were looking for, were prompt and really helpful in their email replies, and - most importantly for us - they were super friendly. When we met them both in person the day before the wedding, it felt like we were with friends and they made us feel very special.

On our wedding day, Yuki made the lighthouse look cosy and inviting (on a cold, wet day!) with lots of beautiful details, and Neli worked magic on our generally camera-shy family, giving us a wedding album that we are absolutely delighted with.

We booked our wedding with Danish Island Weddings.Yuki and Louise as well as the team was simply great and highly professional! Before, during and after the weddings they were very helpful, flexible and available at all time. We also worked with the photographer Neli Garnet and had our wedding dinner at Restaurant Mumm. Even the place where we stayed was recommended by Yuki and you can trust in her recommendations. In general the whole collaboration worked so smooth.
Louise took over the flowers and table decoration at the restaurant. Without many words she knew what we liked and created a beautiful set up in the restaurant.

Our wedding was a paradise.
Besides the unique location on the beach, we had a wonderful team by our side. Yuki and her lovely sisters took such wonderful care of everything. The flowers, the bathhouse, the decorations - everything was so lovingly and tastefully prepared.
We fell in love not only with the gorgeous island, but also with the people who live here.
A big thank you goes to our photographer Neli Garnet as well. She is the best wedding photographer for us. On our special day, she captured enchanting moments with her camera with a lot of love and a good eye. Thank you for that!

By chance we found out about the possibility of getting married on the Danish island of Ærø. And when we came across Danish Island Weddings via google, we were immediately thrilled by their concept, so simply perfect for the beautiful island. Although we had decided to get married on very short notice during our vacation trip, Yuki and her team made everything possible that we still got a suitable date and within three weeks the entire planning for our wedding was in place. Yuki took care of our requests at all times and made all wishes come true for us. Although we had communicated primarily by email and once by video call beforehand, we arrived at Aero feeling quite relaxed as we could be sure that everything was arranged according to our wishes. And so it was. One day before the wedding we were warmly welcomed by Yuki and DIW and went over all the details again. On the day of the wedding everything was perfectly arranged: the location for the wedding ceremony was beautifully decorated with flowers, the champagne reception with our own playlist, the most delicious wedding cake we have ever eaten, the bouquet and flower crown - everything was lovingly arranged and prepared. In addition, Yuki helped us book beautiful accommodation and the restaurants. The icing on the cake of our wedding were the photos of Neli, who accompanied us almost the whole day and captured the memories in gorgeous photos. We still get goosebumps when we look at them. In summary we couldn't have imagined a more beautiful (elopement) wedding and are very grateful for DIW's great services!
