I registered for one of their speed dating events and, after booking, I was given the wrong address. I travelled there, spent a long time trying to find the venue, and of course found no one because it was not the correct location.As it turned out, a different address was sent to me by email. I rushed there feeling stressed and upset, but by then I was inevitably late (about 15min) because of their mistake, not mine.

When I finally arrived, instead of any understanding or basic decency, I was met with rudeness. The organiser spoke to me in a dismissive and hurtful way and simply said there was nothing they could do to help. That alone says a lot about how this company treats customers.

I then contacted them by email, made a formal complaint, and asked for a refund because the whole situation happened due to their own incorrect information and poor handling. They refused.

I would not recommend this agency to anyone. Speed dating already puts people in a vulnerable position, and the last thing anyone needs is an unreliable company that gives false information, causes stress, then treats customers badly and refuses to take responsibility. I have attended events through other speed dating companies before and never had an experience like this. Usually I left with good memories. This one was the exact opposite.

Respect yourself and think twice before giving your money, time and trust to a business like this. Based on my experience, they were unprofessional, disrespectful and completely unwilling to put right a problem they created themselves.

I attended a gay speed dating event organised by DateinaDash, and overall it was a really enjoyable experience. It was my first time going to something like this, so I was quite nervous at the start, but everything turned out well. The venue was lovely and had a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere.

I went with my best friend, which helped ease the nerves, and the speed dating itself was well organised and fun. I ended up having a great time, meeting new people, and even making some good connections. After the event, a group of us went out for drinks and food, which made the whole evening even better.

However, I experienced an issue with the matching system afterwards. We were given a link to submit our matches online, but my profile didn’t include the option (the yellow section) to “add matches,” unlike my friend’s. Because of this, I wasn’t able to submit my matches at all.

I contacted both the enquiry email on the website and the event host. They mentioned there was an issue and advised me to try again, but it still didn’t work. I followed up again explaining that I was having trouble navigating the website and submitting my matches, but I haven’t received a response since.

Overall, it was a fun and memorable night, but the post-event process and lack of follow-up support were disappointing.

Was a lively way to meet and interact with new people. Whether alone or with a group everyone felt welcomed and included. It was one of the best events i have been too!

Attended the Tattershall Castle Event on Friday 03 April.

Rob hosted the event, he was personable, friendly and professional. The event ran like clockwork and very organised.

The attendees were lovely. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and would recommend to others. Nice venue!

Avoid this company based on my experience. The event I attended was poorly organised, with people not turning up and last-minute cancellations.

I was told to contact the organiser but received no response to messages or emails. When I arrived at a follow-up event, I was initially told it was cancelled, but it later appeared to go ahead with uneven numbers.

Overall, the experience felt inconsistent and frustrating.

Update: Rob is correct about me attending without obtaining confirmation in advance, this is because all of my calls and e-mails were not responded to, my requests were made before the follow up event I attended was fully booked.

The evening had a good turnout and used a standard speed‑dating format with four‑minute rounds. The Clapham venue, however, felt cramped, and a larger area would be beneficial and improve overall conversation quality.

The other attendees were nice. The organisation was a bit of a mess as we didn't start on time and ended earlier or were asked to "wait" to even out the attendees but didn't get asked to join back and meet the others before the event ended.

Reposting this review following another attempt by the company to have it removed. This time, it was flagged for including the name of the individual I have been dealing with - despite the fact they publicly sign their own name within replies to reviews. This follows a previous instance where the company published my personal data in their response, which Trustpilot subsequently removed.

This raises concerns about inconsistency and suggests a greater focus on suppressing customer feedback than addressing the issues raised.

I am continuing to escalate this matter through formal channels, as the company has been unable to resolve concerns in a timely or appropriate manner.

The company is entitled to respond to my review as they wish, however all of my claims are fully documented and verifiable. If any statement is inaccurate or unlawful, they are welcome to pursue it through the appropriate channels. My review will be removed if their claims are proven correct…

I attended a speed dating event and was unable to send match requests to the people I wanted to afterwards - defeating the whole purpose of paying for a speed dating event! The issues I experienced boil down to poor event management and the company’s last minute merging of two events (which has been confirmed to me by another guest I met on the night).

The company also tried to coerce me into deleting my online reviews in exchange for a full refund. They also publicly disclosed my name in response to my anonymous review, demonstrating a lack of understanding and/or care for protecting customers’ personal data.

I’ll let quotes from their emails speak for themselves:
• “Yes there was an issue with the matching which I apologise for”
• “I acknowledge the issues it happens but you seem hell bent on damaging a reputation to get your money back”
• “I do not believe slandering a small company online is of any benefit to anyone”
• “If you wish to draw a line under this then you can remove your reviews on both Trustpilot and Google which IMO do not paint a fair reflection of the event and I can process the refund”
• “So if you wish to remove the reviews and draw a line under it then I will need your ticket and the last 4 digits of the card used?”
• “If you want this matter swiftly resolved and to draw a line under it then remove the reviews and send me the last 4 digits of the card used because I do not believe they are fair or accurate”
• “Please send me your last 4 digits of the card used and do the right thing and remove the reviews and we can draw a line under this”

Despite explicitly acknowledging the problem with the matching system, I have not received a refund. The company’s conduct demonstrates coercion, mismanagement, and disregard for customer rights and data protection. Multiple other reviews online report poor communication, cancelled or merged events, and unfulfilled refunds, showing this is a pattern rather than an isolated incident.

I cannot in good faith recommend this service and shall be reporting them to Trading Standards.

Update: The company flagged this review as containing “harmful or illegal content.” Trustpilot has since investigated and confirmed it does not contain such content. Trustpilot have also sent a warning to the company regarding their attempts to force me to delete my review, as well as removing their response which disclosed personal data without consent.

It was my first speed dating event that I have ever been to the manager of the event made me feel welcome I was a bit shy at first I would definitely recommend to anybody to go and try it out and it's a great place to meet new people and to have an experience if you are you looking for love that's

Great host.. venues.. always delivers.. quality matches..

Event wasn't cancelled despite barely anybody signed up.
At the venue even less people showed up so i didn't take place in the end.
The people present, some regulars, said they are displeased with the service in general.

The host blamed the Google algorithm for the lack of attendees.

I attended the Singles open mic night. What fun. I think the combination of talking about our dating disasters and knowing everyone was in the same boat was a winning combination. It too ALL the stress out of being at a dating event. Conversations happened naturally and the atmosphere was friendly and open.
I didn’t meet ‘the one’ but I think some people did. Highly recommended

I think this could be a really good things but unfourtnately, it's managed by Rob. I attended some events through Meetup orgnaised by Rob years back and he was always "unrealiable". I bougt tickets (1 female) on Groupon and it says requires reservastion but resversation on Groupon is blocked and when you try booking on their website, your voucher isn't accepted so you have to email Rob & team which I did giving the event I wanted to attend. Rob got back to me straight away asking for my voucher which I gave him but I never heard from the human again. on the day, I emailed to say I'd not heard anything so I was assuming I wasn't on the list and asked for my voucher not to be redeemed. If you don't wan to honour Groupon vouchers then why promote your business through Groupon? When I saw that Rob was the organiser, I though I give him another try, I expected him to have grown since but no, he hasn't. So now I get to loose my money.

I Have now been to a few speed dating events run by date in a dash I really enjoyed my time. It’s been friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed meeting new players I definitely will go to more events

The event was billed as 15 speed dates aged 42-55years. The start time was changed by 90 mins with virtually no warning. There were only 8 dates and ranged from mid 30s to mid 60s. The organisers ignore emails. Be careful this outfit is a bit of a scam

I had an amazing experience with Date In A Dash! Their events are fun, well-organised, and take all the pressure out of meeting new people. From speed dating to singles parties, everything feels welcoming and thoughtfully planned. Charlie, one of the hosts, was especially fantastic — attentive, friendly, and great at making everyone feel comfortable. You can tell the team genuinely cares about helping people connect. Highly recommend for anyone ready to actually enjoy dating again.

Dateinadash uses venues which create a feeling of style and friendliness, and this helps to set the stage for a positive evening ahead. They attempt to have a near to equal amount of women to men at their meet ups, and I like that all initial conversations are then conducted via the Dateinadash website until you feel happy to proceed with getting to know someone a bit more.

Good selection of events but the customer service is terrible. I've sent multiple emails to Rob and the enquiries team to retrieve my 'no match guarantee' for a month now and have still not received it. Seems as though hes just ignoring me seeing how active he is on here.

The most experienced and long term singles event promoter Rob. Very glamorous places the events are held. Lovely people and very good value for money. The best customer service and very attentive. Thanks a million Rob from date in a dash. Thank you

Rob is an excellent host. Always great fun attending these events and a very warming experience. Host these events at great locations. Would recommend attending 👌
