Founded in September 2017, Davis-Smith Mental Health Provider, LTD. is a licensed private practice in New Lenox, Illinois, serving individuals and families across New Lenox, Joliet, Frankfort, Lockport, Mokena, and Will County. Our team of three Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors (LCPCs) provides counseling for children, teens, young adults, and adults. In nearly a decade of serving our community, we have built our practice on one core belief: every person who walks through our doors already has the strength to grow. Our job is to help them find it. We do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. From your very first session, we take the time to understand your unique story, your challenges, and your goals. We then match you with the therapist best suited to support you at your particular stage in life. If we are not the right fit, we will personally connect you with a trusted provider who is. Our therapists draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and strength-based techniques to address anxiety, depression, trauma, school refusal, managing emotions, and building self-esteem. The butterfly in our logo tells our story. It was inspired by a client who, after months of hard work in therapy, shared that she had grown so much she felt like she could finally fly. That moment is what drives us every single day: walking alongside people as they overcome their struggles and soar toward their goals. We accept BCBS, Aetna, and Cigna insurance and offer both in-person and virtual telehealth sessions throughout Illinois, making quality mental health care accessible no matter where you are. Self-pay options are also available. We are committed to continuous growth, not just for our clients, but for our clinicians as well, because we believe the best care comes from a team that never stops learning.
