Davo's Tackle has some unbelievably cheap prices - and apparently access to lines that others don't - but please do not place your order without reading, in full, their terms.

They delivered everything they said they would, and when they said they would - genuine products in original packaging, for prices I couldn't match anywhere on the internet or locally (and I do a LOT of browsing before I purchase - if it's available cheaper somewhere, there's a 95% chance I'd have found it).

And they have these spectacular prices because of their business model, which includes 10 business days for them to prepare your order for shipping. In my experience, they used pretty close to every day of that 10 days. I ordered on the Sunday before Easter, and the shipping label appeared in my AusPost and Shop apps on Tuesday, 10 business days (or maybe on the 9th business day, given the Good Friday and Easter Monday public holidays. They could have also stretched two days further on a technicality as Easter Saturday and Sunday are public holidays, too - but I appreciate they don't regularly work weekends, so they didn't count those in their calculations.)

My only gripe is that the parcel itself didn't register any further tracking events until it reached AusPost's Sunshine West parcel distribution centre in Melbourne's western suburbs, at 3am today (almost exactly 3 weeks since my order was placed). It was delivered later that day, in good condition, and overly-padded for the content of the order. I "get" the padding - fishing tackle is the mainstay of Davo's business, and it needs padding to make it through the post - I ordered four items of apparel, which pad themselves, but still got the standard padding inside the bag - save time, save money. :)

I have nothing bad to say about the (comparatively) long delivery time, as Davo's website has prominent, and repeated notices of not only the policy itself, but also links to the full policy. They are not trying to "hide" the 10 business day lead time - and if anyone complains about it, it is they who are being unreasonable as shoppers are given •plenty• of opportunities to educate themselves.

It's the old saying: quick, cheap, good: pick two.

I'd order from Davo's again. Just not if I was in a hurry.

Overall a positive experience but needed to wait longer than expected to receive the product. If you’re happy to pay a little less and wait longer, these guys are for you. If you want it in a couple of days these guys are not the guys. Would I use them again? Personally, No. But I’m glad I received the product and it is in perfect working order.

Good online shop, easy to navigate. Prices are good, communication was really good plus quick post.

While my order eventually came, the handling time was ludicrously long, and customer support was very unhelpful.

Well priced kit and lures that are not available at the generic suppliers. Maybe its just how life is going to be with the diesel price but the delivery took longer than normal. Will keep shopping with them .

Always a positive experience when I shop at Davos. In this particular instance that had the Zman colour I was after. Pricing is competitive and the shipping is efficent.

An excellent product at a very competitive price! Davo’s should always be a ‘check-out’ when investigating a new weapon to the arsenal in my opinion.

I`ve used Davos Tackle maybe a dozen times over recent years. The prices have always been competitive,I just order and it turns up relatively quickly after its been dispatched. The only thing I`ve noticed is the tracking can be a bit slow sometimes,as its turned up to my address before the tracking says it should. Which is nothing to complain about.

Always a pleasure doing business with Davostackle, the prices are extraordinarily below price, given no one can price match because the prices are below what they are able to purchase at. I have let my cycle of fishing mates know and they too have spread the word. Given we are doing it tough in South Australia because the algae bloom destroyed a lot of our target fish, we are still out there trying to catch a feed and purchasing tackle at an affordable price really helps. Keep up the great work Davostackle.

Great prices,fast delivery, awesome communication

Worst online store in Australia. Just give it a miss. Absolutely no clue about customer service and hide behind their "policy" which was written in the 1960s.

The product, was excellent and great value for money. Really happy to see that post sale service, Davo’s ensured loose ends were sorted.
Due to all of this, I’ve just again placed yet another online order and looking forward to receiving the goods.

Terrible business! Do not purchase from Davo’s Tackle. Poor communication, and after waiting for days to get a response it’s just AI. I waited 10 days for my order to be dispatched (yes, it states in their shipping policy that it can take up to 10 business days, but that doesn’t make it right.)
Then once finally sent they gave me the wrong shipping information.

Item as described..postage a little slow, but I wasn’t to fussed it was only ordered for future use

You took weeks to dispatch my order and then it still took weeks to arrive.

Gear I bought off Temu & eBay came faster & bcf & Kmart are cheaper for the same stuff

Got what I ordered but took over 3 weeks for it to arrive to me. Well over 2 weeks to post it.
