⚠️ Be careful here.
Update:
Auto in de Buurt reached out kindly after my review. They said the KVK number on the website was an honest mistake and will be corrected, provided the original parts boxes (codes verified against the supplier’s website), and sent the itemized invoice.
4 stars instead of 5 because all of this should be standard, not something a customer has to chase.
Previous:
Did you get a proper itemized invoice?
Do you actually know if original parts were fitted to your car?
Have you checked their KVK number? The one on their website (85340782) is still up today, 23 May 2026, but KVK says it’s deregistered.
I had safety-critical work done on this garage and paid in full on the spot. The invoice never came. When I asked for an itemized
invoice and simple proof of the parts installed, I got nothing.
On top of that, the KVK number on their website appears to be deregistered in the Dutch Trade Register.
For a garage working on parts your family’s safety depends on, this kind of transparency should be standard, not something you have to fight for.
My advice: ask for a fully itemized invoice and proof of the parts before you pay. Check their KVK number on kvk.nl yourself.
If Auto in de Buurt provides the itemized invoice and proof that genuine parts were used, I’ll update this review. Until then, consider this a warning.
