We visited South India with Delighted Journey for 18 days, we are satisfied with all services as top hotels our bus & chauffeur. Our guide Shankar is excellent. Thanks for all.

C'est la deuxième fois que je fais appel aux services de Shankar pour organiser un road trip en Inde (cette fois-ci au Gujarat en octobre 2025, après une première expérience aussi parfaite au Telangana et Karnataka en février 2024).
Les points forts de l'agence de Shankar:
- une grande flexibilité: j'ai réservé uniquement une voiture avec chauffeur. Si vous souhaitez choisir vous même vos hôtels, Shankar vous laisse libre dans vos choix.
- une grande fiabilité: notre chauffeur Hitesh était parfait, conduite très prudente et toujours souriant et flexible sur nos demandes. Le véhicule était toujours maintenu parfaitement propre et confortable.
- des conditions de paiement hyper souples: Shankar ne m'a même pas demandé d'acompte, c'est moi qui lui ai proposé de faire le paiement par virement quelques jours après mon arrivée en Inde
- une assistance hors pair: pour l'une des étapes de mon circuit, alors que je n'arrivais pas à réserver mon billet d'accès au parc national de Gir, Shankar a pris en charge cette réservation pour moi. Il a aussi régulièrement pris des nouvelles au cours de mon circuit pour s'assurer que tout se passait bien.
Partez les yeux fermés avec cette agence, pour ma part je suis certain de refaire appel à leurs services lors de mon prochain voyage en Inde :-)

We are sadly at the end of our wonderful trip, which has taken us on an emotional and memorable journey starting from New Delhi and travelling through Amritsar, Mandi, Chandigarh, Rishikesh and Haridwar.

We had the privilege of having Shankar not only organise our trip for 6 persons but also his services to us as our personal guide, explaining everything to us in French, English and Hindi. Shankar is a man of many talents!

We would like to not only personally thank him for his services and personal attention, but also thank his wife Bhawna who does a lot of background work and research into finding the best hotels!

Our thanks and gratitude must also go to our driver Hussain - an absolutely amazing driver whom we felt completely safe with travelling through some very scary mountainous roads!

This has been a truly memorable experience and I would highly recommend the services offered by Delighted Journey and our driver Hussain.

Delighted Journey organized our Char Dham Yatra bookings. Except for one location(Barkot), premium rooms were provided. Probably Barkot has very few high end rooms. Shri Shankar used to either ring up or message about the hotel, google location and contact number of the next destination, before hand. He is courteous and can handle the last-minute change of plans dynamically and gracefully. He is open to criticism. Overall, his association was a prized asset to the Yatra. The driver may be directed to take more open roads where possible, even if it is entails paying additional toll tax and thereby save time and reduce journey stress. Shri Ravi, the driver was cooperative, well mannered and courteous. Our family has been availing services from Delighted Journey from almost 8 years now and are completely satisfied. Shri Shankar may think of offering additional discounts on loyalty point system for frequent clients. I would recommend Delighted Journey for peace of mind, based upon their expertise and understanding nuances of hospitality well. We have just got back from a nine night tour of the Golden Triangle and Udaipur which Mr Shankar put together for us. From the moment that we were met at the Airport everything was well organised and to plan. Our driver, Soban, was fantastic, always on time and got us safely around. The guides were great and very helpful. We stayed in some amazing hotels too. I have no hesitation in recommending Delighted Journey.

Après notre première excellente expérience dans l’Inde du Sud organisée par M Shankar et l'agence Delighted Journey, nous avons fait de nouveau appel à eux pour nous organiser un circuit de 20 jours dans le Rajasthan et Agra. Tout s’est encore une fois très bien passé, l’organisation a été très efficace et nous en revenons ravis et enrichis de notre voyage et de son déroulement.
M Shankar nous a bâti un voyage sur mesure, en fonction de nos souhaits, les étapes étaient bien réfléchies et d’une durée parfaite, avec des heures de trajets tout à fait raisonnables et le temps de visiter à loisir et d’observer la vie locale à chaque étape. La communication avec lui a toujours été facile et excellente, et cette fois nous avons eu le plaisir de le rencontrer à notre arrivée à New Delhi.
Les hôtels ont toujours été très bien choisis et notre chauffeur nous a accompagnés tout au long du trajet, sur des routes où il n’est pas toujours facile de conduire, et où nous n’aurions en aucun cas pu conduire nous-mêmes.
Jamais au cours de ces 20 jours nous n’avons rencontré le moindre problème ou souci, nous remercions vivement M Shankar et recommandons sans hésitation ses services pour l’organisation d’un voyage, grâce à sa connaissance de l’Inde et ses contacts et expérience dans l’industrie du tourisme.

Ces 3 jours dans le Shekhawati ont été fantastiques , très bien organisés. Le chauffeur Ravi, très sympathique toujours disponible. Les guides locaux explicites , et les hôtels confortables .

Uttarakhand Tour with Delighted Journey.............
We had a fabulous and memorable experience travelling in Uttarakhand using 'Delighted Journey'.
The owner, Mr Shankar, planned our trip to Himalaya Garwal and Kumaon in Uttarakhand. Shankar's extensive experience in the tourism industry was well demonstrated in the planning of our entire trip. The quality of hotels and locations were chosen meticulously, keeping in mind that the journey does not get hectic. We visited Mussoorie, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnprayag, Gwaldham, Kausani, and Nainital. Our local driver was Mr Surjit Singh. He was not only an excellent driver but was a very responsible, punctual, reliable person who guided us like his own family member throughout the entire journey. Surjit described the history, culture, and importance of each important place we passed through. We look to making another tour through 'Delighted Journey' tour company in the future. I highly recommend using this company for travel in India.

Shankar planned the entire tour of tribal areas of Odisha. His planning was meticulous and our experience was good. Stay was comfortable at most places, barring a couple of places where better accommodation was not available because of the tribal belt. The vehicle and the driver were very good. The driver, Amit, was extremely helpful in communication in the local language at the tribal areas. All in all, a good experience.

We recently travelled in the north-east of India through Delighted Journey. Mr. Shankar was very communicative and accommodative from day 1. The trip itinerary, arrangements and accommodations exceeded expectations. Our driver was amazing, highly professional and the car was kept so clean. We travelled to Guwahati, Shillong and Meghalaya for 7N/8D through their travel company. The driver picked us up right when we landed at Guwahati airport and was a really amazing local guide to us. Mr Shankar had also pre-booked the tickets for Brahmaputra river cruise in Guwahati and 3 safaris (2 jeep and one elephant safari) in Khaziranga. Our family of 4 really enjoyed the wild life sightings the Khaziranga, waterfalls in Meghalaya and the beautiful Sceneries of Shillong. Everything was taken care of for us and we could enjoy the trip hassle and stress free. Highly recommend delighted travels and will be booking with them regularly for my travels within India.

Shankar helped me with Varanasi and Gaya trip on last minute with perfection. Cab driver Ramesh was good and helped us to communicate with the people. I being a South Indian it was very helpful.

From day 1 Shankar has helped me to finalise our Uttarakhand tour itinerary. It was such a nice experience, there was no hassle. Our tour was also pleasant because of our driver Umesh Kandary. He is such a polite, humble human being with extensive knowledge about Uttarakhand. We have no doubt to recommend Delighted Journey to anyone. Looking forward to have our next tour with Delighted Journey.

Our trek to the source of Ganges and Kedartal's lake was really amazing. We have been guided by our experienced guides Ketan and Laxmen who brought us to these stunning landscapes!
We had information about Indian culture and all the team was dedicated to our wellbeing which includes good food. This trek was a reconnection to our own Source and to the power of nature.
The tour was tailor made, the guides were always ponctual and flexible.

We had a fabulous experience with Delighted Journeys.

Our drivers Ram & Lucky were the epitome of professionalism and made us feel very safe at all times. Our every need was anticipated. We had lots of water and snacks and a nice, clean, cool car.

Our guides Ketan and Himanshu were equally incredibly as well as interesting and we gained such an appreciation for the history and culture of the different places we visited thanks to their knowledge. We would have missed so much had we not booked a guide!

Anytime we had a question or need, Mr Shankar was incredibly responsive (if not immediate), quick and ready to provide the answer and/or remedy the situation.

I’ll 💯 be using Mr Shankar and Delighted Journeys when I next visit.
