Long story. Our old boiler failed.
Paying ridiculous monthly insurance to D&G (Baxi), we called them out.
Could not attend for 6 days, when they did, they said they needed a new part, that was not available.
I looked up on the internet and found the part readily available online. Informing D&G/Baxi of this they replied, we can only get parts from our accredited supplier, not the internet.
So I started looking for a new boiler, Diamond Green Energy was recommended by my son. I asked them for a quote, which was reasonable, and looked good with 10 year P&L guarantee, but they could not fit for 3 weeks.
Eventually, after 5 weeks without heating or hot water, DGE arrived to fit. The engineer was professional excellence.
First thing he said was the quoted boiler was unsuitable to our system, and arranged for the correct boiler to be delivered whilst he removed our old boiler and flushed the system.
They completed the work in a day and left everything working clean and tidy. Very Very happy.
After some to and frow emails bill discounted for the different boiler and service plan agreement set up, confusion about owner/installer registration or guarantee, have registered as owner but still waiting for guarantee certificate. The Installer was an excellent highly professional engineer, But after instal he did explain the guarantee or servicing plan and what I needed to do. 3 days now, working perfectly. Have managed online, with my limited IT skills to eventually to set up annual servicing plan but still have no idea of the guarantee period or conditions. But boiler insurance cover with DGE a third of what I was paying D&G/Baxi. Tempted to give 5 stars, but hanging on until we have a problem and response time. At present 4.7 stars.

Efficient service on time

I have been using Diamond Green Energy for several decades and I have always found the service excellent. The engineers are polite, friendly and do a perfect job whether big or small and leave no mess. The company has moved with the times and the prices are competitive. I would recommend.

The engineer arrived early in the expected time frame. Then promptly set about the task in hand. The service was conducted efficiently and courteously.

The company are always ready to help, the arrangements for a home visit for my yearly boiler check were clear and every thing happened as detailed. My boiler was checked and I have received my new certificate.

Engineer arrived as stated. The engineer tested, cleaned, appliance, inspected hot water tank and tested peripherals, reset clock as had gained time.

Excellent service but Robert went the extra mile to do safety checks for Mum's bungalow. We are now aware of a couple of issues that need to be addressed.

When I was unsure of what to do, Louise went the extra mile and called me to explain and put my mind at rest.
