Digivante is one of the best conducive environment to be as a software tester

platform is easy to use and offers clear instructions for testing. The support team is friendly and responsive, and I appreciate the opportunity to learn and improve my testing skills. The payout system is fair and reliable. I would definitely recommend BugFinders to anyone looking to start or grow in crowdtesting

Don't be fooled by the positive reviews, if you're wondering why they have such high ratings here, it’s because one of the requirements for getting drawn in their monthly 50 pounds draw is give a review here and ofcourse anyone would give a positive review.

This is one of the worst testing platforms you would like to work at, here's why:

1. Absurdly low payouts, you get invited to cycles where functional bugs pay 1 GBP regardless of the impact of the bug, so if i report a crash bug and another tester reports an irrelevant link doesn't doesn't trigger any action, we all get paid the same amount , this makes no sense and seeks to abuse the efforts of testers.

There's also a policy which they don't state anywhere in their rules when signing up about bug payouts reducing after the bugs submitted reaches a specific amount, there's no clear indication on what specific number of bugs triggers this reduction and how much the reduction will, it just happens.

I had to contact them in discord to find out why the stated bug payouts suddenly reduced before i got an explanation. Their goal was to ensure testers submit bugs as early as possible but this makes no sense, this means they don't really care about quality issues and don't reward quality.
I have worked on several testing platforms and this is the worst of them all in terms of bug payouts, its literally slave money being paid here.

2. There is no incentive in increasing your ranking on the platform because they don't even have enough projects to offer.

3. You will be competing against testers from Asia and Nigeria who basically cheat in every test cycle, submitting incomplete bug reports, placeholders and whatever they can so they get the highest payouts as soon as possible. This leads to every test cycle having several bugs getting submitted in a matter of minutes.
The platform clearly does not care about providing a structured environment to ensure testers give their best.

I will conclude with this, if you want to slave away your time and effort, you can sign up to this platform and do so. If you do value your time and efforts, DO NOT join this platform. It's the worst you can find.
