Dignity Pet Crematorium Reviews 

I hate to leave a bad review of such a normally lovely place, but our experience was really marred by details.
Our beloved cat Samson unfortunately passed at 18 years old. Massive character, big family cat so very , very upset when he passed.
We told the vet we had heard of how good Dignity were, so asked to use there services. The vet did not inform us that we could take Samson there ourselves, so incurred a transport fee, (this is a vet issue).
Anyway, after a couple of days we had heard nothing.Didnt know where Samson was. My daughter had to call Dignity to be told, oh yes we have him, we forgot to courtesy call you. Hmmmm.
My daughter went over to sort out the paperwork. His surname was different to what it should of been, so we ask them to change it to our family name, which they agreed to do, twice.
My daughters then returned a couple of days later to see Samson. The lady took them to a room and 'Samson is ready for you', and left the room. We were expecting to be took to him, but she re-entered with a card machine, i mean if she had told us this was happening we would not of been so shocked by how blunt this interaction was.
Couldnt fault how Samson was, still our beautiful boy x
Then we were given a card, with the wrong surname on, despite them saying it would be changed. This was the most upsetting thing.
I admire what Dignity do, but please sort out your admin. We didnt want our last thoughts of Samson to be like this.

We decided on an individual attended cremation when our dog Bailey sadly passed , it was lovely having a last opportunity to say goodbye and get a paw print framed .
The staff are excellent and I highly recommend.

Me and my family are really thankful to Dignity Pet Crematorium specially Sam and her team for the way they treat us with kindness and care in this difficult time that we had to say goodbye to our beloved Simi and the quality of their service and the materials they use in their urns are all of the best standard I do hope the rest of my cats live longer than our Simi but definitely will use Dignity Pet Crematorium again and will recommended all the way. thank you!

Dignity were wonderful. My beautiful rescue dog passed away, and they came to pick her up. They could not have been kinder and more reassuring. When I picked up her ashes, I cried alot, and they gave me a big hug. I would highly recommend them. They made an awful situation more bearable, and for that, I will be forever grateful.

Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. I lost my beloved cat recently and suddenly so we took her to Dignity. They show care, compassion and empathy throughout the whole process. I was devastated and crying and they showed such kindness and care. I really wanted to leave a review as I cannot recommend Dignity enough. I know our cat was looked after and was shown such respect. We collected her ashes a week later. The forget me not seeds and candle were an unexpected kind gesture in the bag along with the ashes. A truly personal experience and it helped so much through such a difficult time emotionally.

I was devastated by the sudden and unexpected loss of my cat Pippin. I called Dignity as wanted to take him there myself and from the outset everybody was hugely empathetic and kind. They fitted me in and when i arrived upset, looked after me and were so compassionate. Pippin was so well treated and i was given time to spend with him and to decide what service i required. I chose to attend his cremation and as upsetting and sad as the day was, he was very well cared for and treated with kindness. Everybody every step of the way understood how hard these days are. Losing such a beloved pet and essentially a part of the family is always going to be heart breaking but Dignity really helped make his final goodbye as gentle as it could be. Thank you, your kindness mattered so much.

Dignity rang me to say they had my dog sent to them by the vet. We arranged over the phone for me to collect her ashes 10 days later. When I arrived they had done nothing because I hadn’t paid. They should have called me to ask for the money and told me I had to pay before they would cremate her. I thought I was paying when I collected her😢 Very distressing and to top it off they charged an extra £50 for same day cremation whilst I waited 4 1/2 hours for them to complete the cremation. They need to review and revise their procedures.

Never having had a pet cremated before I didn't know what to expect. My vet had arranged my cat, 16 year old cat Joey to be picked up by Dignity and taken to their place in Hook. The ladies there were very kind, caring and helpful. They treated Joey with special care , they spoke to me in a sweet caring manner, I felt they understood how sad I was to lose him. Their empathy and kindness and professionalism really made the whole experience kissed with love.

Extremely positive experience, despite the heartbreaking circumstances. The place is gorgeous and our deceased pet was treated with extreme care and attention. Throughout the process of arranging the cremation and saying goodbye to our pet, we never felt rushed and felt listened to and supported. The ceremony itself was a beautiful way to say goodbye to our beloved pet and we were given so much time to cuddle him for the last time before parting. Despite how horrible losing him was, we could not have wished for a better way to say goodbye and hold a very positive memory of the day. A massive thank you to the Dignity staff for what they do.

The staff are kind and caring.
My cat was taken care very well.
They also named my girl with my surname, sweet.

From the minute we made contact with Dignity, we knew we had made the right choice. So professional but with that sympathetic and caring touch that you need when losing a pet. My beautiful boy was cared for by everyone we had contact with and the service we received was second to none. Every little detail and wish was carried out - it gave me peace of mind that my boy was looked after to the very end.

Such a great company. After arranging through my vet for another company to cremate my cat, I was rung by my vet to tell me she would not be picked up for two weeks and I would then have to wait another three weeks for the return of her remains.

Finding this unacceptable I informed my vet I would arrange for another company to collect and cremate her and chose Dignity to do so.

From the first phone call they where polite, helpful and kind and arranged to collect her the next day. Unfortunately when they arrived to get her the other company had already taken her which my vet was unaware of. Dignity informed me of this almost immediately and then called me again to tell me that because of the circumstances they would be refunding me the money I had paid them. The money returned to my account the next day. I was more then happy for them to take reimbursement for the wasted journey but was pleasantly surprised to find that I had in fact received the full amount in my account.

Unfortunately the other company for whatever reason did not return her in the urn I chose for her but in a scatter tube, so I again contacted Dignity to purchase an urn from them. Unfortunately at the time my chosen urn was out of stock so I enquired when it would be restocked and got a prompt and helpful response and was then informed when indeed it came in.

I could not fault this companies response to everything. They are polite, helpful and above all cared.

Had to take tana out 16 yr old Yorkshire terrier on Sunday following his death at home they were outstanding as always having them used their services many times over the years always do there best for the animal and the owner will use them again in the future when needed

Hate to be the first to put a vad review but my BFF died on the 6th July picked up on the 9th cremated on the 10th were not even told he was cremated then now August 2nd looking at him sat in a brown paper bag no sign of his casket he deserves better and its breaking my heart rip wesley lindsay smith xxx
Should have replied earlier but dignity when realising the issue were fantastic casket next day and the owner delivered it and put wes to bed with fresh flowers now I can get closure but he will always be my BFF XXXX

Their kindness, compassion and support has helped us to deal with our loss. A special mention to Kevin and Tommy who were both so caring, kindhearted and attentive.

These guys are truly amazing. We lost our Frank 2 weeks ago. The love respect and dignity shown towards my family and to Frank was heart warming I’m truly forever grateful. Finally got my boy home where he belongs Thankyou everyone at Dignity xxx My Frank 2019 - 2023 forever missed my boy x

I became aware of Dignity 8 years ago when i worked in a veterinary specialist hospital. Most patients went home, sadly some didnt :( when that happened, & if owners wanted an individual cremation we always called Dignity. From the very first phone call, it was obvious how caring this independent, family business was. Pets were wrapped in blankets, put in their own baskets and taken to Dignity the same day or next in a purpose built pet hearse by really lovely drivers. Two weeks ago and very suddenly, we had to say goodbye to our very own first dog, Marley. For the first time I had to call Dignity as a bereaved owner and not as a former vet receptionist. They hadn't changed a bit. I was met with compassion and kindness from the very first, grief stricken phone call with Lauren, who arranged to have Marley collected the same day, through to Millie who gave Marley's ashes back to us today, beautifully presented and with gorgeous gifts too, in the most beautiful and serene surroundings. If you want an individual cremation for your much loved furry pal, don't go anywhere other than this truly genuine, caring, independent family-run company. I've seen them from both sides, professional and personal, and know that you won't find better. I can't recommend them highly enough and when the sad time comes, when my other little, elderly cross breed but mostly terrier Daisy "four breeds, one brain cell that doesn't work" dog has to cross the Rainbow Bridge, she will only ever be going to Dignity before she comes back home to us

I have sadly had to use dignity 3 times in a short space of time. I am blown away by how incredibly compassionate and kind they are. They are an incredible group of people and I cannot recommend them enough. From the second you first speak with them you immediately know your pet is going to be handled with nothing but grace and kindness. I will always recommend. Thank you

It was my second visit yesterday to Dignity after being very pleased with how they cared for and processed the cremation of my cat 4 years ago.
Sadly I had to have my beautiful Norwegian Forest Cat Merlin PTS on Monday at home where I was able to keep him until Wednesday when I took him for an attended service at Dignity.
I wanted to be with him until the very end, until I could go no further with him and place him into the chamber.
Everything is done with precision, keeping to the scheduled appointment time and being able to collect his ashes after 3 hours.
