Poor quality armored entrance door no guaranty
I purchased an armored entrance door from Leroy Merlin Portugal for €400, despite reviews questioning the structural integrity of the MDF frame for such a heavy unit. Unfortunately, my professional installer shared these concerns, and six months post-installation, the door detached from the frame. My formal complaint to Leroy Merlin was forwarded to the manufacturer, who rejected the claim by attributing the failure to poor installation. I subsequently paid €800 for the necessary repairs—double the original cost of the door—performed by a highly reliable contractor with whom I have worked successfully on numerous prior projects. Given the manufacturer's refusal to honor their warranty and their unsubstantiated claims regarding the quality of the installation, I can no longer recommend this company.
