Our call button paging systems work over your WiFi network so range is never an issue as long as a button is connected to WiFi. Staff can be on any WiFi or cellular network to receive the calls. Dinggly call button paging systems are found in hotels, restaurants, offices, retailers, educational institutions and factories around the world. Customers can configure and update their pager systems via a secure portal. Tasks such as changing the name of a call button or staff login names are easily performed. The calling device, responder and response time are logged against every call. For those that want access to this data, Dinggalytics provides a rich pool to information to evaluate your system and operation. The main benefits of a Dinggly paging system are: * Dinggly Call buttons are intelligent devices with 2-way communication. When someone presses the button, they see a blue light and hear a sound (optional). When the call is accepted on any device, the light changes to green, and a sound is heard, so the caller knows someone is on their way. * Dinggly receiving devices talk to one another - so when a receiving device accepts a call, it tells all the other devices which received the same call that the call is in hand, and who accepted the call. This avoids duplicated effort. * The calls can come through to alert any combination of mobile phones/tablets/desktops/laptops/Smart TV's and/or Dinggly supplied WiFi Wrist Pager watches. * Up to 3 levels of call escalation are available for calls which are not answered within a preset time delay. * Calls from Call buttons can be directed to different recipients based on call source and call type. * Due to the cloud architecture of the Dinggly system, there are no distance limitations to implementing the solution, as long as there is a WiFi signal where the Call Buttons and Dinggly WiFi Watches are used, and a WiFi or cellular signal where mobile receiving devices are used. * When the call button needs to be recharged, it sends out an email to one or more persons. * Dinggly offers a very high level of reliability as there are no on site servers which can fail, since all devices communicate with a central cloud based data centre. The very solution for which we were searching
The Dinggly web-based paging system is the perfect solution to a problem that we were experiencing at the Arizona Fine Art Expo. The Expo is a 10-week live artist event held in Scottsdale every winter. We’re in our 22nd year. Patrons have the opportunity to watch artists working in their studios and to purchase art directly from the artists. The Expo campus consists of three large event tents and a sculpture garden set up in the Sonoran Desert in the outskirts of Scottsdale, Arizona.
The problem that we needed to solve was to make the artist assistants more accessible and efficient. The artist assistants are the Expo staff who roam the campus, and when an artist needs help, they step in. More concisely, the assistants help the artists complete sales, without requiring the artist to accompany the patron to the sales office. As you can imagine, artists don’t like to leave their studios, because that could mean a missed sales opportunity or possibly a theft risk. Due to the size of the Expo campus and the sheer number of artists participating, artist assistants are not always readily available in proximity to the studio when needed. This is where we needed to become more efficient and effective.
We tasked our IT provider with finding a paging system of some design that would address this problem. The initial comments from our IT provider indicated that there are several web-based paging systems on the market, but that they are components of larger enterprise-style systems. After a little more digging and googling, our IT provider located Dinggly.
Our IT provider made contact with Ed Dayan at Dinggly, and Mr. Dayan quickly grasped what we wished to accomplish. He provided a number of options and suggestions for configuring and implementing the Dinggly web-based paging system. The Expo settled on implementing 124 QR codes, not call buttons. We knew that call buttons would likely disappear at the end of the season when the Expo shuts down, so that approach was not considered. Mr. Dayan also suggested putting a QR URL on each artist’s smartphone home page. But we declined that option because we didn’t want the artists to have that link on their phone if they do not return to the Expo next year.
Our IT provider received 124 QR code graphics from Dinggly, and he created 5”x8” (20cm X 13cm) placards. Our staff then laminated the placards before issuing them to the artist studios. The placards indicate which artist/studio is associated with each QR code. Each placard also contains a notice reminding the artist to return the placard to the Expo at the end of the season. But unlike call buttons, we’re not going to be too concerned if we don’t get all the placards back at season’s end. We’ll simply re-print what we need next year.
The Dinggly system call receiver app is installed on each artist assistant’s smartphone. The Dinggly web-based paging system has delivered exactly what was needed – quicker, more efficient response when artists require assistance. In the past, artists would have to go on a scavenger hunt looking for an artist assistant, or they’d accompany the patron to the sales office. Now, with the Dinggly system installed, artists’ requests for assistance are typically answered within 20 seconds, and the assistant arrives at the studio in less than a minute after accepting the request. In that scenario, the artist never has to leave their studio or abandon their patron to find an artist assistant.
Finally, our IT provider has mentioned several times that his pre-sales interactions with Dinggly were productive and friendly, and that implementation support was world-class. We didn’t even see this system get implemented, and it worked flawlessly out of the gate.

Any issues that we faced due to the nature of our business they have been very keen to help us overcome, helping us find solutions fand what works for us, all the while keeping it cost effective. We will definitely use them as we expand our brand and the products are extremely modern and slick compared to other products I looked at.
I'd recommend the watches over the pagers for durability and also response times. Our venue is late night and has loud music, so the clip on pagers the servers found difficult to feel/hear due to the uniform and the surroundings, but the watches helped us overcome those issues.
They'll help you find what works for you, and are so quick to reply.
