I ordered three bottles of syrup. What I received was three sticky tubes of bubble-wrap filled with broken glass, wrapped in a single layer of cardboard.

When I complained and sent photos, they responded asking for photos.

I resent the photos and they refunded me for the syrup but not the postage.
I complained that it was their choice of courier and poor packing not mine, but apparently it’s their ‘policy’ to fob customers off with a substandard service and shirk responsibility where possible.

Well going by the website and delivery guidelines i should have had my item before Christmas considering i ordered it on the 18th December. But shock horror there has been no delivery and according to the dpd tracking it hasnt even been sent out. Ive emailed the company but no response. Looks like im going through the bank to get a refund. Avoid at all cost.. its not worth it.

I received a 1kg bag of coffee beans that had been opened, when i say open the whole of the top was open, such that beans had spilt into the delivery box
I queried this with discount coffee and the reply is

"I do apologise for this. I have spoken to my manager, and he assures me that the pack will still be fine to use so long as you transport the package to a sealed container to avoid any additional air or moisture getting to it"

I have no idea how long the bag has been open for, who opened it and what may have contaminated it.

Very disappointing response for what I see as a very valid complaint.

Wow, so many negative reviews - I don't understand it, just put in my fourth bulk order of Rio Classic coffee beans over the last year. The coffee suits us just fine, works in a french press or on the mokka pot on the stove. Nice coffee and the cheapest I've found by far. Not had any problem with delivery, or with the company. P.S. Ordered 8kg yesterday, (17th), arrived today (18th) by DPD.

RIO COFFEE I WILL NEVER PURCHASE THIS AGAIN FOR THE FOLLOWING REASON .COFFEE IS SPOONED INTO MY CUP IN TERMS OF STIRING I HAVE TO FLOG THE CUP TO DEATH FOR MINUTED TO GET IT TO DISSOLVE AND EACH CUP AFTER ALL THAT IS LEFT WITH A COFF SLUDGE AT THE BOTTOM. NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL I WASTE MY MONEY

The barista named Karime was super helpful and kind I really enjoyed my time there also a delicious cafe made by her ❤️❤️

Ordered online and they took the money and lost the order when they found the order after telephoning them they agreed too dod next day it.

Odd course this did not happen

Yet another telephone call found out if was still with them. (don't for get was promised next day dpd)

Aoz a week later got mist te items. The missing g part of the shipment was showing not ferfilled yet there staff said it was sent.

(more promises off they did not happen)

This time wanted 4x rio freeze dried as its cheaper. There staff said no I could only have one.

(While on phone he said e would check it's all there while I was on phone. Off course it was not they emailed me today put of stock)

Had orange hot chocolate in my basket eould not let me check out , (surpost too be 2 to 3 day delivery)

Called them again (they had had the orange hot chocolate in all the time ook more money (don't girget I should off had this order today as surpost too be 2 to 3 day delivery

(not only was the replacement product open it had less then month on date,)

Afer tere email I called yes again spoke too the very rude guy who ad told me sll items where in stock (very rude person refused too tell me there complaints procedure would not answer any question with an answer. Was unable too do anything but put me on hold till they had clossed)

Is this really how bad this company has become?

Both our sister companies use loads off there coffee it's a decent product for the price but playing games with your customers. Putting them on hold untill your clossed is this how u trade

077 0404 5454 if any of the manager's wish too hold a convirnation like and adult and tell the truth pkease call me and one off our team will be happy too take your call ( maybe we should treat them how they treat there customers put them on hold till we close?)

I ordered a Monin syrup for nearly 10£ per 1L bottle, but I received RIO syrup instead, which only costs 5£ for a 1L bottle. I asked them to arrange for a courier to pick up the wrong syrup and give me a full refund. After waiting for a week, the parcel with the wrong syrup was collected, but I only received a partial refund. This was unfair because the mistake wasn't mine. I tried to contact them about this issue, but they never responded. Despite this, I managed to get my money back, but I did lose the postage costs. This experience has led me to decide that it was my last purchase with them.

Have been ordering from them few times but last order is nightmare i recieved message from.dpd they will deliver on saturday then nobody came amd then they said they will deliver somewehere else when contact discount cofee they siad i should go and look around for my parcel and not willing to help when i asked to speak to supervisor some one named David said he was the supervisor and i sugestion was i go to everyone and ask for the parcel and not ready to help

Placed an order and paid for expedited shipping and was delighted when I received an email saying my order had shipped. However, checking with Evri later that evening, tracking said they were expecting the item but hadn't got it yet. Now another 24 hours later, they still don't have it. Creating a label isn't shipping

Don’t order anything from this place because they’re useless , promise one thing and deliver another , called them to cancel the delivery the just hung up , very unprofessional and rude . Never order again .

I live in Italy. Despite being in coffee central they don't have many of the things I was used to in America. Cue my excitement when I found this website that was offering things at a decent price. So, I put in a 60 euro order in mid-December. It's 15 days into January and I still haven't received it. First, they told me that the original package was lost so they resent it and sent me a tracking number which didn't work. Then after a while, I get a number from a third-party shipper saying it was on its way (a week ago) and over the course of the week I have received links to two different sources that are 'tracking my package' and each one is on a different step in the shipping process. I'm going to wait 'til the end of the week because I really want my stuff. But if it doesn't get here then I'm asking for a refund.

Spent £20 on a 'premium' ground coffee which is shown on their website nicely packaged in a resealable pouch. Got sent a pack with a pixelated printed sticker on the front (could barely read the small print) not even stuck on central. Not a resealable pouch. Basically told nothing they will do about it. I can return it for a refund, however I've spent above £5 on delivery already and have to pay for tracked delivery back! Fumin.

Best website for discount coffee ever, absolutely amazing service, incredibly happy with the service I've received from them (have shopped with them 3 times now, and will continue to do so in future)

I have tried to unsubscribe to discount coffee so many times as I don't like coffee!!! But still keep getting emails - please do NOT keep sending them!

I ordered 26.6 and now its 13.7. They were quick to 200 € from my account - but I haven't heard anything from them yet. I tried to get a signal yesterday but I am still waiting. KH / Jørgen

I give one star because I can’t give non I ordered 2 cafeterias I Receive only one i Emailed the company numbers of times never get a reply Not to mention probably will be never fix the mistake I end up with one cafetiere well Over priced!!!!! Because I order two PAY FOR TWO and I receive only one Still waiting to get Any decency from the company to at least contact me

Second time using them, disappointed this time. Paid extra for next day delivery with DPD through discountcoffe and royal mail email me telling me its due in three days time instead. I hate being a karen but i paid for next day, not three day delivery. To the point i don't want the order now.

I recently had to start avoiding dairy, but don't like milk substitutes so I asked in my local Health Food shop. They didn't have anything so I Googled "vegan coffeemate" and found Discount Coffee.

I tried a bag of their vegan coffee creamer and it's the best discovery I have made in ages! It dissolves easily without any lumps and tastes lovely in coffee. I even use it in tea (am I allowed to say that on a review for a Coffee website?).

It was well packaged and arrived in a couple of days.

I definitely recommend it!!!

Then Placed my order for over £50. But never received my discount.
Also I sent an email query some 9 days ago & so far have not received a reply.....

I'm a new customer and I'm not sure what I've let myself in for with DiscountCoffee

A bit disappointing to learn I needed a discount code and received it too late to use on my £50 order.
However. My order arrived very fast, within 48 hours with a gift

Therefore my confidence is renewed & I now update my review from 1 to 5 STARS.!
