From Srart to finish, Andy and his team were perfect.. 2 weeks away in Florida , 2 cars needed... faultless in every aspect, hassle free when it comes to all the additional add ons ( insurance ) , far better price than anywhere else and communications were perfect.... thanks guys, this was back in March so delayed but we'll deserved...highly recommend these guys....

Rented a satnav for my 2 week trip to Florida. Satnav arrived and was not working. It had no maps on it, it was out of date. Had to download garmin on my laptop and update the satnav myself with the appropriate maps for it to work, even then i was not sure it would work and would only find out when getting into Florida! This was a few days before I was due to leave.

I emailed Andy, no apology or even compensation for sending a satnav I had to update myself. If this was someone who was not computer savvy, there would not have been enough time to get another satnav out. I am appalled by the lack of service and not even taking accountability for sending a satnav that was not fit for purpose.

If you are planning a trip to Florida, I'd recommend hiring a car with a build in satnav, get an E-Sim and sync your phone to the car to use Google maps. Much more accurate especially with all of the road works currently going on over there.

From getting a quote to changing things along the way this company has been excellent. The step by step guides on how to get your rental without queueing was very clear and easy to follow. Have booked with them again for next year.

Perfect service and a great price. The communication was great throughout and made it a simple process. We were advised to use Alamo advance online check in and were able to simply walk straight to the on terminal car park and select our vehicle and drive to the exit security gate. No more long lines at the car hire desks in the terminal. We will always use this service in future AND book through discount florida car hire

Just arrived back from our dream Florida holiday. Booked our car hire through Andy around 5 months prior to travel. I think our quote was around £100-£200 cheaper than the comparable websites. Booking process was simple and straight forward and balance was due I think around 8 weeks before travel. Arrived at MCO and made our way to Alamo and the check in process again straight forward. Would highly recommend using discount Florida car hire and will definately be using again.

Incredibly helpful car hire company - we booked with Alamo for our Miami Florida trip. So smooth, lots of information, helpful advice and one of the best experiences we have had in the minefield that can be car hire abroad. We also booked their sat nav which turned out to be really helpful even though we had google maps etc.

Hiring a car abroad can be a real minefield. Knowing that Discount Florida Car Hire was UK based and able to provide the comprehensive cover needed really eased my mind. Not only were prices really competitive but we were able to get cheaper prices having initially booked. Customer service was great and very responsive. When i arrived at Tampa Airport after a long day of travelling it was a great relief that our booking was there. The SatNav provided (for an additional £15) was a great assistance. Would definitely recommend to any Brits travelling to Florida.

I have now used Andy and Discount Florida Car Hire, on 4 or 5 occasions, on both the East and West coasts of the USA.
I have had to change things around on more than one occasion and every time it’s been sorted with no problem.
Especially one time last year when our flight was diverted from Orlando to Miami, with only 14 hours notice.
Andy sorted it all out and the car was waiting for us on our arrival with no extra charge.
If hiring a car in the USA, I will always turn to Andy first, definitely the best company I have dealt with in the 30 years I’ve been travelling to the USA.

This is my go to car hire company! Been using them for a few years now. What I love is that you can book as early as you want and not pay anything until 10 weeks before departure. The price dropped many times between booking and when balance was due and after balance was paid. I was always advised to cancel and rebook at lower price. I have been refunded twice since paying my balance. Which is just fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble for them I feel a nuisance but I’ve been assured it’s not a problem at all just keep rebooking at the lower price and they will process the new booking and sort the refund. I have always booked an Alamo rental used them for Florida and now this year California.

We booked our hire car for California with DFCH. Service was fantastic, any questions were answered quickly. Like the fact you can check prices as often as you want and re-book without penalty.
Top up insurance was well priced & the inclusion of a free Sat-Nav is fantastic saving lots of $ on what the car hire companies charge.
Highly reccommended.
