Discounts for Carers Reviews

Not much here that is what I would want. BUT I have ordered two shirts and a pair of trainers and saved a lot of money on then.

Health Service Discounts Review: Great Offers, But Too Much Focus on the Ode Card.
In general, Health Service Discounts offers a fantastic variety of deals for NHS and healthcare staff. However, my main personal drawback with the site is its heavy push toward the prepaid ode cashback card.
I prefer paying directly with my credit card to benefit from consumer protection and rewards, but too many of their best discounts are locked behind buying and using this prepaid card instead of providing a simple promo code.
Why the Ode Card Doesn't Work for Everyone;
Lost Credit Protection: Using a prepaid card means missing out on standard credit card benefits, including Section 75 legal protection on purchases over £100.
Extra Friction: Having to top up a separate card before shopping is far less convenient than entering a discount code at checkout.
Missed Credit Rewards: You can't stack your usual credit card points or cashback on top of the ode offer.
To Summarise;
Health Service Discounts is a valuable platform, but direct discount codes applied at checkout remain the superior option, which I’ve benefited from and have been happy with these purchases. But when I compare the cashback card purchases vs directly using my credit card…The site would be much better if it offered straightforward promo codes rather than nudging users toward a prepaid card setup that compromises buyer protection on larger purchases.

As a carer we get so little help (as opposed to blue light holders etc) so these discounts are so welcome. As a well known supermarket says 'every little helps'!

Very good with all these discounts help you enormously.

There are way too many emails and frankly…there are too many offers that are simply too low a discount to be of any use to most carers…it’s great to get a fiver off a pizza or something but most of us gave up on holidays or new wardrobes or, indeed, a new wardrobe itself many years back….

Good service

Love the discounts you can get and variety of different things you can get the discount on travel shopping

Really helpful website. Good discounts available which can help a lot with today's economy!

The best offer's

I love how many options of places to use my discount, I've managed to get my kids shoes and we were finally able to pay for our first ever family holiday with the discount, which I am incredibly grateful for. As a carer to a child with additional needs I appreciate the help towards costs.
