I was admitted to this hospital through the medical tourism agency Hosfinder for liposuction and abdominoplasty. I paid for a specific surgeon and was guaranteed continuous 24/7 postoperative care.

In reality, the operating surgeon was changed without prior notification or my informed consent. The agency later stated that the hospital was responsible for this decision. I cannot confirm where the responsibility lies, but as a patient, I was not informed or given a choice, which is unacceptable in medical practice.

The promised 24/7 postoperative care was largely not provided. With one important exception: one nurse during the first night after surgery provided excellent care. She checked on me every hour, helped me stand and go to the bathroom, adjusted my compression garment properly, administered medications on time, and showed genuine attention. I personally returned later to thank her with a large box of chocolates.

Unfortunately, the following shifts were the complete opposite. My room was located directly opposite the nurses’ station. Despite this, assistance often took 2–3 hours, and sometimes no one came for up to 8 hours. Requests for basic help — adjusting the compression garment, assistance to stand or go to the bathroom — were ignored or dismissed. Nurses repeatedly said “we will come now,” while remaining at the station talking and laughing.

There were also serious lapses in basic medical care: IV bags were brought but not connected, catheters were forgotten, and only after repeated reminders did staff acknowledge their mistakes.

This review is not emotional — it reflects my real experience. The level of postoperative care I received did not match what was promised or what should be expected from a hospital providing surgical care.

OP mit gutem medizinischem Ergebnis, organisatorisch jedoch enttäuschend

Das medizinische Ergebnis der Operation meiner Frau war zufriedenstellend. Der Ablauf und die Organisation vor Ort entsprachen jedoch nicht den Erwartungen, die uns im Vorfeld vermittelt wurden.

Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir ohne vorherige Information in ein anderes Hotel gebracht als ursprünglich ausgewählt. Auch das Krankenhaus war nicht die Klinik, die uns vorab anhand von Fotos gezeigt worden war; stattdessen fand die Behandlung in einem anderen Krankenhaus statt.

Die Kommunikation vor Ort empfand ich als schwierig, da kaum Englisch gesprochen wurde und kein Dolmetscher verfügbar war. Die Unterbringung war aus meiner persönlichen Sicht wenig komfortabel, insbesondere für mich als Begleitperson.

Nach der Operation erhielt meine Frau keinen schriftlichen OP-Bericht und nur wenige Informationen zum genauen Ablauf. Auch zur Nachsorge wurden kaum Hinweise gegeben, zum Beispiel zum Tragen einer Korsage oder zu Verhaltensregeln nach dem Eingriff. Auf meine spätere Nachfrage, ob Fotos aus dem OP sowie ein ärztlicher Bericht zugesendet werden könnten, erhielten wir keine Rückmeldung mehr.

Die Bezahlung erfolgte ausschließlich in bar, eine Rechnung wurde nicht ausgehändigt. Der Behandlungsvertrag lag nur auf Türkisch vor und wurde nicht näher erklärt.

Insgesamt wich die Organisation deutlich von dem ab, was uns im Vorfeld zugesagt wurde. Wer eine Behandlung in Betracht zieht, sollte sich dieser Punkte bewusst sein.

The plastic surgeon was very good..BUT...and its a major but;
1. nobody in this hospital speak a word in English not even nurses.
2. nurses are extremely negligent. just a small example; drip should be coming in cannula, instead was left open and drip was going all over the room floor so I was left for a very long time without drip after operation as when you buzz them they dont bother less to see what you need and I could not get up and walk.
3. nurses think that patient is stupid and they do things all in a hurry not according to medical practice.
4. they just shut your room door and forget all about you not even when its time for treatment.
5. the room help buzzer is literally for nothing, if you need help they never come to your room to see what you need. They just dont care!
6. Hospital is very dirty, even room drawers were already dirty with leftovers of patients being in the room before, zero cleaniness.
7. Surgery report in Turkish language, if patient is international it should be at least in English language.
I can never recommend this hospital to anyone. Extremely disappointing.

First I had a call with them consulting about my hair transplant, Ive sent pictures of my head back and forth promising me that ill have 4 thousand grafts on my head for 1000 euros . They lied about transportation saying that they will take me there and back and drop me to the airport afterwards but it was all lie when i got there. They also said transportation will be your issue which was another 150 euro extra plus they lied about the grafts and said they're only doing 2000. I was distraught and angered by the lies. I told them to give my refund back and they said they will but it has been 2 months since I've been there and I still haven't gotten my money back. They are liars and fraudulents and robbed my money.

سافرت من دبي لأجري عملية زراعة الشعر في مستشفى دوغا، وكان الأمر يستحق الرحلة. فريق العمل كان ودودًا ومحترفًا، والمستشفى نفسه حديث للغاية. حتى الآن، أنا راضٍ عن النتائج.
