Horrible sneakly company who must have taken lessons from the grifting lying President DJT. Don' t fall for the 99 pence offer of a course as it will cost you dearly and they make it impossible to get a refund. Would love my £278.49 returned and will continue to make every one aware of their underhand tactics.

Total scam!! I bought a 1 dollar course and then discoverd that i was charged $199 for an anual suscription. I am usually cautios whan i take a free trial but this wasn't the same, They just charge you for a year! not a month but a hole year. I've wrote them whit my claim but they only send authomatic replies!! just want everybody to know and never buy a course again!

SUPER SCAM, I am so so dissapoint!!! I share the same situation as many people writing here, they have charged me 300€ when I just bought a single course for 1,98€. They don’t even answer properly, they just send you to the termes conditions link and steal your money!!!!!

I am claiming on California department of justice, and into the FTC Federal Trade commission, I have nothing to loose, I will report to every possible agency

You are intentionally misleading customers by advertising an offer and then adding a yearly subscription without explicit consent. This constitutes deceptive and unethical business practices.

Total scam...signed up paid for course to see what was like as Im childrens art teacher and thought would just order more based on the first one just had €300 taken out of my account for year subscription.and whats worse is they are offering year subscription package at half price online. They also do monthly subscription but these scammers go in for yearly subscription because its in the fine print . DO NOT SIGN UP FOR ANY COURCES NO MATTER HOW CHEAP OR HOW GOOD YOU THINK THEY MIGHT BE. SCAM SCAM SCAM.

Absolutely disgusting!! It's such a pity I did not read this before, but I did not know that I would become yet another victim in their thievery.

I purchased a $1.99 online video course over 18 months ago, since then no other contact.
They then use my paypal account to STEAL $363.15 *(£280.77) on Dec 30th 2025.
My bank (in the UK) has clawed back the payment - but now Paypal are threatening me with debt collection agencies - they accept no responsibility.
Domestika do not respond.
Both PayPal and Domsetika should be avoided at all costs.

I would give them no stars if I could or a negative rating. My bank caught a really high charge to my account in Canada. My breath was knocked out. I was so grateful that my bank recognized that this company and this charge was problematic and did not let it go through. I have never had a company attempt to defraud me before and this was a shock. I fear that they may do this again as I may have paid for a small cheap course through another visa card, but when I contacted the company they sounded hurt and I feel it is all an endless run around and I fear more corrupt behaviours as they still have my information.

I am extremely frustrated with Domestika. They just charged my Payoneer card $166.15 for a Plus subscription renewal without any clear notification or my consent. This is a massive amount of money for a student, and it feels like a total trap!

I contacted their support immediately after the charge, but I am only getting automated bot responses. I have NOT used any of the 11 Plus credits or any other features from this renewal. According to consumer rights, I am entitled to a refund for an unused service that was charged accidentally.

Domestika is using predatory tactics to lock people into expensive yearly plans. If they do not resolve this and refund my $166.15 immediately, I will be forced to file a formal dispute/chargeback via Payoneer and report them to the Better Business Bureau (BBB).

Como ya todos saben Domestika es una estafa , tienen un sistema confuso donde te dan un mes de prueba de Domestika plus y luego te cargan un año de la suscripción sin avisar por $250 usd , peroa todo el que le haya pasado esto los invito a llenarles el correo de peticiones de devolución y comentar sus videos de yotube advirtiendo a las futuras victimas sobre esto.

On December 10, 2025, I purchased one course from Domestika and paid a total of 49 TL for this transaction. The description of the transaction reflected on my credit card statement was "Order C5110**19T33503436". During the purchase, I only made payment for this single course and did not consent to any subscription or recurring payment.

However, on January 10, 2026, I noticed an unauthorized deduction of 6,400 TL from my credit card by Domestika under the code "Order C5158**62T33959279". Despite the requirement for at least 7 days' prior notification as stated during the initial purchase, I received no email or SMS notification whatsoever. Additionally, I provided no written or verbal approval for this payment.

While Domestika presents itself as a platform offering affordable knowledge and education to people, I believe this practice of high-amount, unauthorized, and un-notified collections under the guise of low-cost course sales misleads and victimizes users. The claim of providing education at affordable prices is overshadowed by such unfair practices, completely eroding our trust. Many Turkish academics, scientists, artists, and experts in their fields share knowledge on this platform, yet such practices tarnish their credibility and cast their efforts under the shadow of misguided commercial policies.

I absolutely do not accept this collection, which occurred without my approval, knowledge, or consent. Moreover, it is both unethical and victimizing to make such a large deduction when I haven't even watched the courses I initially purchased.

I demand the immediate cancellation of this unauthorized transaction from my credit card and the full refund of 6,400 TL as soon as possible. Otherwise, I expressly state that I will initiate legal proceedings and exercise all my legal rights.

Scam - warning! If you buy a course for 1-10 dollar they steal 350$ from your Paypal - they have scammed hundreds of customers around the world. Don’t do my mistake and buy anything from them! No refund, no answer, no respect. 😡

私は単発のオンライン講座を購入しただけでしたが、明確な同意・分かりやすい説明がないまま、年間サブスクリプション料金が自動で請求されました。
申込み画面では「年間契約」や「自動更新」であることが非常に分かりにくく、利用者が気づかないまま課金される仕組みです。
これは**意図的に誤認を招く設計（ダークパターン）**と言われても仕方がないと思います。
現在、返金および請求取消を求めて対応中ですが、同じ被害に遭う方が出ないよう投稿します。
Domestikaを利用する方は、
✔ 自動更新の有無
✔ 年間契約への切り替え
✔ 解約条件
を必ず細部まで確認してください。
「知らないうちに年間契約になっていた」というケースが他にも起きないことを願います。

I was charged $327.52 USD for an annual Domestika Plus renewal. This was not intentional—I missed the trial cancellation deadline.
What matters: I cancelled immediately (same day) and I have unused credits (no courses redeemed).
I contacted support right away, but received a standard response pointing to terms instead of a clear refund decision.
I’m sharing this so others are aware: the renewal is easy to miss and the support response felt unhelpful. I’m still requesting a refund for a same-day cancellation with no usage.

⚠️ Mi experiencia con Domestika fue pésima.
Me siento completamente decepcionada y frustrada. Compré un curso y terminé con un cobro que nunca autoricé: me activaron un plan anual sin dejarlo claro en ningún momento. La página me pareció confusa y poco transparente.
No volvería a confiar en ellos y me parece importante que la gente sepa esto antes de poner sus datos o pagar algo.
Ojalá mejoren su manera de informar y respetar a los usuarios, porque no está bien jugar con la confianza de la gente.

It doesn’t exist. You get one message from a bot

I am in Texas USA, i purchased a .99c class and they removed $349. 00 out of my account. They did reply to my email and basically said no we are not refunding you. Absolute scam!

SCAM! I was misled by Domestika’s €0.99 course promotion, which came with hidden terms and conditions. There was no clear option to request a refund, and their customer service appears entirely unreliable—responses are automated and unhelpful. The platform seems to operate like a coordinated scheme, fabricating success stories and reviews to promote their courses. Please be cautious and share this information widely. This kind of deceptive practice should not be allowed to continue.

I was scammed. YEARLY ubscription hidden behind a promotion. Domestika does not answer and PayPal rules in favour of Domestika. Shame on you both.
