This app is fantastic, it really offers so much. The structured lessons combined with the learning games is a great way to break up the learning. I also love the fact you can set rewards after the child has earned a set amount of stars, like going to the cinema or anything of your choice - it helps to keep kids motivated. I personally really like all the analytical data that can be found on the parent forum. Price wise, I think it's great value for what you're getting.

Subscribed to DoodleEnglish for my daughter through the Playstore,but when we logged in Doodle didn't recognize the subscription. So we were still stuck on the basic level for 2 days. I contacted their customer service immediately and provided both the confirmation from the playstore and the charge to my credit card. This proof was acknowledged as being valid, after which they activated my subscription manually. Based on that, I amended my initial review and give them 3 stars. Still feel like I should have been compensated for the lost days.

Brilliant app and customer service. I've had no issues at all. It adapts to the child's learning.

Starting Home Education last year was pretty daunting but DoodleLearning made it so much easier. My 8 year old loves it and uses it daily for Maths & English. The app is so easy for them to use and makes learning fun. We can set assignments, rewards and they earn badges for progress. I love that I can have full autonomy over how and what they are learning and at a pace that suits them. It is excellent value for money and their support is fantastic. They could not make it any easier. The best part is being able to drill down into an analysis of their learning easily. We can provide more support in the areas identified as well as celebrate the progress they are making in others.

Perfect for my son who has struggled with spelling. I really like the structure and the user friendly app.
The parent partial which shows the progression and detailed KS they are at is a great help.

Its ok for what its worth but you get bored and your teacher might not be bothered to teach and they use it as a get out of teaching card basically making it quite boring if you do it for more than 15-30 mins

Doodle Learning is a fantastic app for kids.
I've been able to see my child's progress. Having the ability to revisit topics to ensure a secure understanding of the subject is so helpful.
The challenges keeps my child engaged.
We've been using the app for over 5 years now and it helped my child secure their timetables and caught them up on missing areas of math too.

Amazing app, my 2 kids love it - 10 Girl & 11 Boy yrs , great how you can add you own personal rewards so motivates kids to achieve more stars.

I signed up for Doodle Learning expecting a reliable way to track my child’s assigned work and progress. Instead, I’ve spent weeks fighting with a system that simply doesn’t do what it claims.

The parent portal does not accurately record completed assignments. My daughter completed work on the 18th, yet the portal still shows the last completion as the 5th. Support confirmed this is a known “display issue” and that the platform can only store a limited number of completed assignments. This is a fundamental problem, not a minor glitch.

On top of that, the system provides no clear way to see what has already been assigned. The only safeguard is a warning if you accidentally set the same assignment again. To figure out what’s done and what’s pending, you’re forced to cross-reference multiple pages with truncated titles and hidden category codes. It’s tedious, error-prone, and absolutely not what parents are paying for.

Customer support has been polite, but the core issues remain unresolved. The product feels unfinished and lacks basic UX considerations that any modern learning platform should have. As someone who works in UX/UI, it’s clear that the assignment and tracking flows were not designed with actual parent use in mind.

After experiencing how time-consuming and unreliable the system is, I regret signing up. Until Doodle Learning fixes these foundational issues, I cannot recommend it to any parent looking for trustworthy progress tracking.

Great app for kids

Whenever I have an issue with the platform or a question, the team responds so quickly and always resolves my query. Most of the time, it is out of hours, and they still respond. Great customer service!

We have experienced nothing but positive from Doodle Learning. The learning content is fun, simple to use and relevant to support curriculum leaning. The service we’ve received when contacting the team with a query has always been responsive and very helpful. It helps to consolidate what my children have learned in the classroom and it gives me useful insight into their learning and development, how fluent they’re becoming, how they problem solve etc.

The actual work set when we are able to access it is actually quite good. However I find it unbelievably difficult to set assignments and we keep having to repeat work that we have already done. My daughter.and I can't bear to keep going.with it which is a shame.customer services are really helpful but I have to email them about everything. There are other easier apps out there to use it would seem.

Great app and education support tool for my kids. Started using Doodle Maths around 6 months ago for my daughter (8 years). We had a report from school which highlighted she was struggling with maths and understanding. We searched for a app to support and Doodle had great reviews. After 6 months my daughter is now excelling and loves our time working together in the evenings. End of year report showed a massive improvement in her school performance & confidence. Very proud parents.

We have now subscribed to the full package for both children and well worth the money. Looking forward to seeing further progress in English, spelling also. 3 year old now learning with the app.

It's important to note that this app is a tool to support alongside their school work. As a parents we must take children's education seriously and support alongside the school curriculum. This app certainly does that!

Awful! Trying to fix something not broken.... With something broken!

Me and the partner have issues logging in all the time. Sometimes it works, other times it doesn't. Credentials are the same, it's not an error on our end...

But really, what is the point of this? Multiple apps, we have to pay for. Aren't we paying for our kids education through our taxes already and now being told by the school we have to pay for this as well, which does work, and it utterly pointless and not teaching our lad anything... He just reviews what he did in school that day and does the most basic and simple questions on this.

Utter waste of time. Stop fixing things that aren't broken just so you can profit from parents!

MY SON CAN'T DO HIS LEARNING

I absolutely love this app. No matter what your kids are working on, they can hit LESSON and go over what they don’t understand. And they keep working on parts till they get it. I wish the app would add history, science, personal growth, etc… and I wish the games had more purpose. That being said, for what it does, it’s wonderful.
