Dormio Resorts & Hotels - Obertraun Reviews 

The resort is excellent, and we really enjoyed our stay. There are just two areas that could be improved. First, the check-out time of 10:00 AM feels too early compared to the 4:00 PM check-in time. Second, it would be helpful to provide more cleaning supplies and additional soap for guests.

Other than that, everything was fantastic. The resort is very well organized, and the laundry room is excellent, with high-quality machines that are easy to use. The mini market is convenient, and the prices are very reasonable. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the cleanliness of all the facilities is outstanding.

We especially loved the swimming pool, the beautiful lake nearby, the children's playground, and the amazing views. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

If I have the opportunity, I would definitely come back again. Next time, however, I would stay longer, as two nights were simply not enough to fully relax and enjoy everything the resort has to offer.

We had a wonderful stay at this resort and can highly recommend it. We were a group of eight friends, and everyone was very satisfied with the experience.

The location is excellent, within walking distance of the train station, ferry terminal, and bus stop, providing easy access to Hallstatt, the mountain railway, and other attractions in the area.

The breakfasts were delicious, the food was very good, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help.

Guests can enjoy direct access to the lake, as well as a swimming pool and gym facilities. The cottages are spacious, well-equipped, and tastefully furnished. We especially appreciated the large living area, the additional bathroom, and the private sauna, which made our stay even more comfortable and relaxing.

Overall, a fantastic place to stay in the Salzkammergut region. We would be happy to return in the future.

We had a wonderful experience staying here. Everything was clean, comfortable and well organized. The location is beautiful, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would gladly come back again!

Ich habe diese Unterkunft gebucht, weil sie nur etwa 15 Minuten mit dem Bus von Hallstatt entfernt ist, eine Küche hat und die Aussicht fantastisch aussah!

Wie erwartet, war die Aussicht traumhaft. Jeden Morgen konnte ich die atemberaubende Landschaft vom Balkon aus bewundern, die Ausstattung der Anlage war hervorragend und ich habe ein köstliches Frühstück genossen. Ich hatte eine wirklich tolle Zeit!

Ich möchte diese Aussicht unbedingt wiedersehen!

The units are spacious and large, the beds are exceptionally comfortable, there are wide grassy areas surrounding the property, the views are beautiful, and everything is very clean and well maintained.

The stay at Dormio Resort Obertraun was simply wonderful.
The apartments are spacious and clean, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, and the pool facilities are a huge plus—especially after sunset.

Grate accommodation and nice pool, our kids are interested this Dormio resorts.

Good staff, good location, very convenient public travel links. Very close to rail station and bus stop. Heavenly feeling. I would recommend others and visit again if find an opportunity. Lovely place.

Gorgeous holiday resort in the Alps in marvelous location next to Hallstatter See and the city of Hallstatt, one of the most beautiful little towns in the Earth. The Dormio Obertraun Resort is the best location to visit Hallstatt by way of walking or by bicycle or by car or even by a boat which goes from couple of hundred meters of the reception of Dormio Obertraun Resort.

Great place to be with family, every age of children can find an activity. The houses are spacious and nice , great view on the mountains. The staff is kind, the food covers everything.

The chalet, region, personal, sauna was perfect. We recommend it 100%! I would like to visit it one more time for longer period!

Everything is good.

Excellent service, the hotel is beautiful, the landscapes are beautiful, the staff is very friendly and they speak English and Spanish which is excellent, the restaurant is very good, the food is delicious and the breakfast is very complete with a lot of variety, there were 4 of us in the place and our experience was excellent

Quick check in and check out process. Employees were great and helpful. Adequate breakfast. Chalet is very roomy with big space to gather for meals and socializing. Great view of the mountains specially in the morning. Restaurants, buses and ferry to Hallstatt are nearby with convenience store in the reception area. Chalet has bathroom in each room and a separate sauna room with shower and another separate toilet on the ground floor. Solid 5 star with great prices. Stayed 4 nights Oct 9-13 2024
