We couldn't recommend Double Chex highly enough.
So friendly and very wise to talk to. Never rushed you when you had enquiries to ask.
The detailed report they sent was incredible with hundreds of photographs to back it up.
They not only checked the vehicle from top to bottom they went right through the motorhome. Checking everything including air-conditioning, fridge ,heater etc.
They found the engine number did not match the original number so in the end there was something fishy .

We used Double Chex to conduct an independent assessment of a 6 month old River caravan that had several water leaks. The written assessment was included as evidence for an NCAT hearing where we were requesting our purchase price be refunded as a result of major defects caused by the water leaks.
Double Chex conducted a very thorough inspection of the caravan including moisture readings through the caravan including the floor. Double Chex’s written assessment including photos and recommendations was a major piece of evidence in the hearing and mediation session and allowed us to prove our case, reach settlement with the caravan supplier and retailer.
Double Chex was very professional in the way they conducted business with us as well as with the caravan retailer.
We recommend Double Chex’s to anyone who is contemplating buying a second hand caravan or having their new caravan checked prior to caravan warranty expiring. An independent assessment gives some peace of mind that what you are buying is fit for purpose and is of sound construction.

I bought a 1965 Mustang Fastback in Sydney that needed to be transported to Melbourne. Dan was incredible - me not being mechanical - I needed someone to go over the car to find what couldn't be seen.

His customer service to both the seller and me was fantastic, making the process very easy to get through. His attention to detail and ability to do what was needed to give me the peace of mind and better understanding of the quality of car I was buying.

Purchasing a Motorhome in Sydney when I live in Ballarat, and unable to travel to check it out was a bit of a hurdle until I heard of Dan and Double Chex. Not only was Dan a pleasure to deal with over the phone but his comprehensive written report was excellent. He provided 160 odd photos of the M/home as well as the written report. I was in need of a Mechanic to do a thorough check, to give me peace of mind before making the purchase. Great experience overall, had Double Chex inspect a vehicle I was looking to purchase and I was pleased with the detail provided to me to help with my confidence with purchase.

With being hundreds of kilometres away we entrusted Double Chex to provide us with a Pre Purchase vehicle inspection for our family which was the decider and ultimately determined as to whether our Son was going to purchase the vehicle. The report was thorough and comprehensive and we found Daniel to be extremely professional, courteous, personable and honest. Our Son purchased the vehicle as a result of the report, sight unseen and absolutely loves the car!
