We had some tricky heritage units that had cracked out of the blue. Nic was able to advise us that they were thermal cracks and came out, measured and placed a special order for the two heritage units. He returned and fitted them, really taking his time and we are very pleased with the results. This was not an easy job and he was very responsive and we would highly recommend.

We had a number of problems with double glazed units. After looking at them for too long, we got round to looking for someone reliable to fix them. We were delighted to find Nic Ardley of Upglaze. He was very efficient and gave a competitive quotation (with no 'extras.') He clearly knew what he was talking about and explained things well. Nic measured and supplied three double-glazed panes (one an odd shape) and a new set of window hinges, and did some serious re-fixing of a door frame. All our problems were sorted out in an afternoon. We were delighted with Nic's work, his care, his professional and courteous approach, and the value for money he offered. This is an excellent business, which we are delighted to recommend.

Nic was very knowledgeable and extremely professional, he replied to a Facebook group and was very efficient from the get go. He adjusted two sets of doors for us and now they are perfect, very happy that we picked Upglaze to carry out the works.

Heard about Nicholas (Upglaze) on social media whilst I was searching for someone who could advise if I need to repair or replace my windows. Nic advised repairing them as a better option rather than replacing them completely. For better aesthetics, only glass panels were replaced. Nic was courteous and on schedule to get the job done.

Nick attended to take a look at at an issue with a broken hinge on a upvc patio door. He managed to realign and fix the issue without replacing which was great. He then noticed an issue with the door lock and he sorted this out as well. I found Nick a genuine decent tradesperson who certainly knows his craft. I would definitely recommend Nick and will be using him again for window replacements or general issues upvc related. A really nice guy!!!

It is always really nice when someone you haven't worked with before really works out so well. Nic was first class and everything from being kept advised to pricing to work ethic and the work itself was all first class. If you want anything sorted for your double glazing then make sure Nic is at the top of your list of who to call.
