It's scam , I dont recommend to use this platform for trading . They took high spread . Commission. And every month they deduct money for each held positions . Not less than 303 usd for each positions . Means you are working just for them as employee and you will lose your money . Scam

Según ellos el banco del otro usuario había cerrado su cuenta y solicitado los reversos de todas las transferencias salientes. Cientos de veces expliqué a Dukascopy que eso no era de mi incumbencia, que yo perdería dinero si devolvían esos ingresos. A pesar de ello lo hicieron, me hicieron perder bastante dinero.
Using their Banking services is extremely painful. Each transection requres approval, which takes days. even for transferring funds between own banks.

Dukascopy Bank has been an absolute pain in the ass to deal with. The app feels extremely amateurish and badly put together, like it was built without any real understanding of usability or customer needs.
The restrictions are a complete joke. The limits are so low and so poorly handled that the whole service becomes more frustrating than useful. Instead of feeling like a real bank, it feels like you are constantly being blocked from using your own money normally.
On top of that, the transaction fees feel hidden and far too high for what this service actually delivers. Everything about the experience comes across as inconvenient, unclear, and unnecessarily restrictive.
Overall, this has been one of the most frustrating banking apps I have used. I would not recommend Dukascopy to anyone looking for a reliable, transparent, and user-friendly banking service.

After many months of use they started charging me a fee of 0,5% in outgoing transfers because my account is supposed to have a lot of movements. Of course if Dukascopy gives 0% interest rate people would move money to other accounts or investment platforms instead of leaving the money there.
The way they decide if your account exceeds the limits is opaque, so there's no way to stay below those limits.

They recently changed markup fees to exchange from euro to USD from 0.5 to 1.5% very sad as now I won't be able to utilise the conversion as too much loss just to convert....

As an algotrader I tried Duka but the main problem was that my EA's did not trade many trades that should have traded on their platform.
Later I compared with ICmarkets and they did handle my EA's well.
Of course this is not acceptable for me.

Grotten schlechter Support, einfach nur abgrundtief. Ich hatte grosse Probleme mit der UBS und deshalb mein Konto von UBS zu Dukascopy gewechselt. Dies ist nun über einen Monat her und ich bin nicht einen schritt weiter gekommen sondern eher zwei schritte zurück. Als ich heute wieder anrief sagte mir die frau am Telefon ja sie überprüfen es gerade und es dauert etwa eine Woche… diese menschen verstehen nicht das zeit ein begrenztes gut ist und was ihre Kunden interessiert interessiert sie gar nicht.
Das keiner deutsch kann in einer Schweizer Bank ist auch “crazy“ obwohl dies nicht das Problem war. Und wenn man schon kein deutsch anbietet dann stellt doch bitte menschen ein die wirklich englisch können und nicht die hälfte immer falsch versteht.
Fazit: Diese Bank, vor allem der Support, ein kompletter Rheinfall/Riesen Enttäuschung.

J’ai tenté d’ouvrir un compte bancaire chez Dukascopy depuis le 01/02/2025. À ce jour, le 08/01/2026, le compte n’est toujours pas activé.
Je tiens à préciser que j’ai fourni l’ensemble des documents demandés et que l’appel en visioconférence a bien été validé. Malgré cela, rien n’a avancé.
J’ai essayé de les contacter à plusieurs reprises via la messagerie, sans jamais obtenir de réponse. À chaque relance, on me répond simplement que le dossier est « en cours ».
Pour une banque suisse, ce manque de sérieux est inacceptable. Expérience scandaleuse, établissement à éviter.

I have been a Dukascopy customer for over four years, and my experience with this bank has been nothing short of stressful and disappointing. Two years ago, I even contacted them to confirm whether my P2P crypto trading activity was acceptable, and they reassured me that it was fine. I trusted them.
Since then, I built a legitimate trading business and processed over €1,000,000 in fully traceable transactions through my p2p trading account. Every single time they asked for documents, I provided them immediately sometimes even more than they requested because I had nothing to hide.
Despite doing everything right, Dukascopy constantly froze my funds, delayed my business, and repeatedly questioned my activity. And after years of cooperation, they suddenly closed my account — without giving me any reason at all and told me I am permanently banned from opening another one.
This bank has caused me unnecessary stress, delays, and humiliation even though I was fully transparent from day one. A serious financial institution should value transparency and fairness, not punish compliant customers and then refuse to explain why.
My experience with Dukascopy has been extremely negative, and I would not recommend them to anyone who wants stability, respect, or clear communication from their bank.

I am writing this review to express my extreme disappointment with the verification process at Dukascopy Bank. My account application was unfairly rejected (Failed) not because of any document defect, but due to a clear misunderstanding and lack of patience from the Compliance Agent during the video call.
The Incident: During my video identification, the agent asked for my Date of Birth (10 Feb 2001). As English is not my first language, I felt nervous and struggled to pronounce it fluently. To cooperate, I immediately tried to show my physical Bangladeshi Smart NID (which contains a chip and hologram) to the camera so the agent could verify the date himself. Instead of showing professionalism or giving me a few seconds to compose myself, the agent became visibly frustrated and abruptly terminated the call. Moments later, my status was marked as "Failed."
The Contradiction: Support later claimed that NID cards are not allowed for video verification. This is a huge hypocrisy: If my NID was invalid, why did the Compliance Agent initiate the video interview after inspecting the card on camera? Starting the interview proves the document was initially accepted. Penalizing a genuine client for a momentary language barrier or poor internet resolution is discriminatory and unprofessional.
Before I proceed with any expensive/complex step, I demand a logical explanation regarding the huge contradiction in your support process.
1. The "Hypocrisy" of the Situation: You stated in the chat that "It is not allowed to use the ID for video verification". MY LOGICAL QUESTION: If Bangladeshi NID cards are strictly prohibited for video calls, why did your Compliance Agent initiate the video interview with me after inspecting my NID on camera?
Logic: If the document was invalid, the call should have been rejected instantly. The fact that the interview started proves that NID IS ACCEPTABLE for video verification.
The Real Reason for Failure: The verification failed only because of my poor internet connection and my nervousness while speaking English (I struggled to pronounce my Date of Birth). It was a behavioral failure, NOT a document validity issue.
2. Why am I being treated differently? Does Dukascopy successfully verify other Bangladeshi clients using NID via video call?
If YES: Why is my specific case being forced to postal mail when my NID is valid and smart-chipped?
If NO: Why did you waste my time starting a video call in the first place?
3. Clarification on Passport Option: You mentioned waiting for a passport. If I obtain a Passport:
Do you GUARANTEE that my account will be opened 100% via online Video Verification?
Or will you again make excuses and ask for postal mail? I need a written commitment before I invest time in this.
MY FINAL DEMAND: Since you accept NID via Post, it means the document itself is valid. The only issue was the video interview quality. I challenge you to give me ONE FINAL video call opportunity. I will ensure a high-speed connection and a translator if needed. Do not force me to use the postal method for a simple misunderstanding.
The Barrier to Entry: Now, I am being forced to send notarized documents via international post. In Bangladesh, obtaining a passport takes 6–8 months due to government backlogs, and international postal services from remote areas are unreliable and risky for sensitive data.
My Final Demand: My document is a legitimate, government-issued biometric Smart Card. I challenge Dukascopy to provide one final video call opportunity. I am ready with high-definition lighting, a stable connection, and a translator if necessary. Do not hide behind "postal requirements" for a mistake made by your own agent.
Escalation Warning: Please be advised that if this issue is not resolved fairly and my last request for a final video call is denied, I will be to escalate this matter and file a formal complaint with the Swiss Banking Ombudsman and FINMA. I will report these procedural inconsistencies got ready almost all documentation with inconsistencies.

Die Bank wird für betrügerische Transaktionen genutzt. Mit einem Fantasienamen kann man dort ein Konto eröffnen.
In meinem Fall hat sich der Betrüger mit einem Password-Stealer meine Zugangsdaten für mein Online-Konto besorgt, sein Smartphone als Zweit-Handy angemeldet und versucht, unter seinem Fantasienamen 25.000 € von meinem Konto an sein Konto bei dieser dubiosen Schweizer Bank zu überweisen. Gott sei Dank hat die Consorsbank die Transaktionen als verdächtig erkannt und das Geld umgehend zurückgebucht.
Den Ärger habe ich trotzdem, weil ich schon seit zwei Wochen keinen Zugang mehr zu meinem Konto habe, der Pin geändert werden, ich Laptob sowie Smartphone in den Urzustand zurückverversetzen und all meine Passwörter ändern muss.
Schön, dass die Schweiz und ihre Banken für Betrüger und sonstige Kriminelle immer noch ein sicherer Hafen sind. Und schön auch, dass es diese für Betrüger sehr praktischen Schweizer Nummernkonten gibt.
