I got this cushion for my boyfriend which is paraplegic because it is suppose to heal and prevent pressure sores. His sore got worse when we used the cushion. This cushion does move and lift but it is so hard that it didn't help any compared to his roho cushion. The cushion cover that came with the cushion was not charging correctly when we got it so it powered off after a half hour of use. That day we plugged it in and then it broke entirely so we returning it and do not recommend this to anyone.

I am sure everyone has different experience but this is a life changer for someone looking for a solution in last 25 years! I know 2 people personally who are paraplegics and my friend is a stroke survivor and thinks that the app is good for her..she has limited mobility.. I like the app, it is simple to use and not too fancy. I must say the guy was really kind and helpful whenever I call they help me.. I believe it is an American company. God bless

It is very early innings and the product itself may be as good as it is advertised. The problem right now is with its secondary product, an app which handles additional controls for the cushion's operation. I have been unable to pair my iPhone with the cushion, so the app sits unused. I have written the Support folks and hope that I will soon get some help. However, the larger question is why an app at all, especially for a product designed with disabled individuals in mind? Why no external controls? A cell phone and its apps isn't something a person with pressure sores from hours spent partially paralyzed is eager to tackle. What I have seen so far is this outfit is more about its marketing (the apparent chief function of the app by the way) than a healthcare product.

Time will tell, and this frustrated and immediate assessment may prove far too harsh. I sincerely hope so........

Postscript....Well it finally took a couple phone calls to get some action (something my stroke has made it extremely hard to do without dragging my wife into the fray) and even then it was anything but the smooth simple process. I ended up returning the item, partly because of the miserable over-hyped app, but also because the wheelchair cushion itself did not live up to its comfort claims. I've been able to get four hours of passable seat-time out of a cushion that literally cost 10% of this "hi-tech" cushion that started failing me less than two hours after parking in it.
And I SO wanted it to work...
