Eddie was our upbeat guide, offering a running commentary on everything from geothermal energy to Icelandic horses, food odysseys, and the beauty of glaciers in winter. Mother Nature gave us a sunny, blue-skied day, and we saw breathtaking natural wonders, had the legendary tomato soup at Fridheim Farm, plus dairy farm ice cream. A comprehensive Golden Circle intro to Iceland with an engaging, informative guide.

Went on Golden Circle tour with stop for lunch at Froheimer farms. The company is great at communication, verifying pickup time, location, and bus number the day before and morning of.
Smari was a fantastic guide. Another company tour guide was mainly a driver. Smari was a wealth of knowledge about the lands, the history, the customs, the people. I enjoyed his recitation of poem in Icelandic. So many in service industry speak English, we rarely heard a full conversation in native tongue, so that was a treat. He played music during drive from native icelanders, including artist Son of the Wind, haunting and beautiful like the island itself.

We had a lovely day on the South Coast tour with our guide Smirri. We were not rushed and given plenty of time as we had special circumstances. Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a unique insight into Iceland. We enjoyed the small friendly group. We arranged the trip through our hotel so that we got picked up and dropped off at the Hotel.

Great tour, nice guide. Would recommend to visitors; however, locations visited are virtually quite similar to each other so the tour seemed dreaded for a bit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Golden Circle small group tour Bjorn our guide was very knowledgeable and made the trip even more interesting with his enthusiasm on the history and culture of Iceland. We learnt so much and of course all the stops including the ice cream farm and lunch at Fridheimar showcased what a beautiful place Iceland is. It was a very memorable day. Would definitely recommend Eastwest.

Did both Golden Circle and South Coast tours.
Small personal tours (20 max), guides were knowledgeable and enthusiastic making for interesting and informative trips.
Special mention for Bjorn, who made the GC tour a really special experience.

South Coast day tour was the best experience of our stay in Iceland.We was lucky as the weather was so nice that day.Seen the Northern light on our last stop of the trip.Our tour guide Simon was fantastic 5 stars.

I was on a Golden Circle tour with Sara as guide. What an amazing trip with so much information about Iceland through the eyes of Sara. It was really a five star experience!

What a disaster! 4 hours on a min bus, not getting off looking for the northern lights. Okay that in isolation is what it is, i suppose. So what's plan B when there is no lights? (although we were told it on and its 5 out of 10 to see them which are good odds) ((200 quid later !!!)
No plan B. ... no hot chocolate as the boot had frozen, ITS ICELAND, what do you expect. No walk in the moonlight. ABSOLUTELY nothing....200 quid.SO think very hard about your choices here, do you want to risk 200 quid for a 4 hour cramped mini bus journey stopping once for the toilet and that's it?????? Never again. Company offered me 15% back, odd figure which i told them to keep.

Our guide was Toni who was a delight to travel with. It was interesting on the way to listen to his life journey leading him to being a tour guide in Iceland. He was very knowledgable about the Northern lights and worked so hard throughout the night to try to find the best location and conditions to see the lights. The locations among the snowy mountains where we stopped created a great adventurous atmosphere. It would have been easy to feel deflated and disappointed after 3 hours of seeing nothing, but his optimism and enthusiasm was infectious and we finally saw them on our last stop. He quickly made sure everyone had their photos taken, and these were sent via a link less than 24 later. Thankyou for being part of our great memories of Iceland.
