EZ APPLY US SUCKS!!
I had an appt for my son's temp test and couldn't find his SS card anywhere. In a panic trying to get it as quick as possible on my phone so I could reschedule I clicked a link that looked official and spent 65$ on a form I could have gotten for free from SSA. So frustrating that they take advantage of ppl. I feel stupid but they should be ashamed of themselves. TRASH!

Do not use them.... they will take all of your information and charge you for something you can get for free from the official government website. Very misleading, dishonest, fraudulent !!

Scam, rip off, misleading scam artists. Criminals taking money for no service. DO NOT USE.

As you all did, I went on this site thinking it was a .gov site and after I entered all my information #'s etc... I realized this was NOT a gov page. I didn't complete the transaction. I literally started googling it and found all these terrible reviews. Almost ALL reviews are only for charging for something and not getting anything back including refunds.. don't see any reviews regarding identity theft. BUT even though I didn't finish the application I still ran my credit report and all seems fine. BUT BEWARE!

This site is a total scam! They do not advertise as Easy Application, but use false and misleading addresses that cause you to believe you are dealing with a government agency. Only after taking your money do you find out they are third party and then they provide none of the assistance they claim to do so.
Their extensive and well copied replies to anyone who doubts them, see BBB reviews, show them to know they are misleading and are well prepared to deflect you

Do not trust Easy Apply as a US Passport service. Their site is so misleading. I thought I was submitting my application through them ands paid $128 for a form which I found out later was free on the .gov site. I however, payment never went to the state department in Washington DC . I was called by that office for the payment which they never received. I reported the fraudulent activity to my bank and to the SSA as Easy Apply is receiving personal information no that should have only been for the eyes of the US government. How do I know they won’t sell that information to other scammers! My request for a refund has supposed been escalated. I’ll bet very surprised if I hear back from them. Their site should be removed! Do not use them!

Just like everyone else said, it's a scam because it is intentionally misleading. It is phrased to imply that the “assistance” you are receiving will include sending your app to the US Gov site when really they are just proofreaders to catch any errors you might have made on your form.
The transparent thing for EasyApply to do would be to state directly and prominently on the site that you will need to pay again when you submit your application. In great big red letters, it should say:
“WE DO NOT FORWARD YOUR APPLICATION TO THE U S GOVERNMENT. OUR FEE DOES NOT INCLUDE THE FEE THE GOVERNMENT REQUIRES TO PROCESS YOUR APPLICATION.”
But of course they’re not going to say that because they wouldn’t get any customers.
My husband and I each paid EasyApply, so we are out $200+.

Complete waste of money. This company is nothing but a scam. They make money on people not paying attention and believing this is the passport or other official government website. You are paying for a form that you ALWAYS get free from the government, whether it be passport, social security etc. Do not use any website like Easy-Apply.us that does not have .gov in its website title. YOU WILL BE SCAMMED, THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY. There are hundreds of complaints on the better business bureau. They are also ranked 1 out of 5 on BBB because you can't give them a zero (bbb.org). This business is not accredited by the better business bureau

Its a scam!!! I paid $128.00 for what I thought was a passport. I feel so stupid. I gave my personal information and now I am having to contact my bank, the social security administration, etc.

Due to an apparent lack of vigilance on my part, I paid this company $128.00 to fill out a passport application online. It is a free form and I knew this but thought that it was a government service not a private company charging for something I could just have easily done myself using government resources. I sent off my app and got it back a month later asking for the fees I thought I had already paid. If a place does not have .gov after it, it is not the US government. Anybody can have .us

I can see no real benefit of using that service. If it is labeled as "NOT THE US GOVERNMENT" I missed it.

scammed out of 89 dollars. As well as all the information they could ever want on me. I'm not seeing anybody else on this website that has had there identity stolen so far, will update if something worse happens.

Predatory. Appears to be a passport application service and charges $89 not to submit your passport application, but to create a document that the government creates for free. Frustrating that they were the first source to populate on a Google search. Incredibly disappointed and feel taken advantage of.

I was duped into paying $65 which I believed was the cost of getting a US passport! I immediately discovered that there was no receipt, no email, no text confirming my transaction and no phone number for Easy Apply, Be careful folks. Make sure you are using US government website for any transaction with the government! I reported the scam to my bank...now I'm getting a new credit card/number!!!

They pretend they are a federal entity that accept the payments for the passport but they are not, they charge for filling out a form that otherwise is free.

Like everyone else I thought I was on an official site, paying $65 as a processing fee. Instead, I paid for them to take my data and put it into a form--something I could have done for free. Worst part is they now have my SSN and other personal data. I called the next day and they agreed to refund my CC. I'll be monitoring this. Someone said they refund it, but then charge it again later. We'll see. Also I froze my credit reports with all three credit reporting agencies, just to be safe.

My mom fell victim when she lost her SS card and thought the Easy-Apply website was the governments site. Paid $48 for them to fill out forms that she could have done for free.

Fraud site! Looks like the government site but charges you an extra $65 to do exactly what you can do on the government site. Don't be fooled!

This is a total scam which makes you feel like an idiot because you can do this yourself for free
