At Eco Stairlifts, we believe unwanted stairlifts should be reused, recycled, and given a second life wherever possible. We specialise in the professional removal, purchase, refurbishment, and recycling of stairlifts across the UK. Our mission is to reduce waste, support the circular economy, and provide homeowners with a simple, respectful, and environmentally responsible solution when a stairlift is no longer required. Whether a stairlift is being removed following a property sale, a move to residential care, a bereavement, or simply because it is no longer needed, our experienced team handles the entire process professionally from start to finish. We provide free valuations, nationwide collection services, prompt appointments, and secure bank transfer payments where applicable. Unlike many companies that simply dispose of unwanted equipment, Eco Stairlifts carefully assesses each stairlift to determine whether it can be refurbished and reused. Stairlifts that cannot be reused are dismantled responsibly, with parts and materials recycled wherever possible. This helps reduce landfill waste and supports a more sustainable mobility industry. Our team has extensive experience working with leading manufacturers including Acorn, Stannah, Handicare, ThyssenKrupp, Flow X, Flow 2, Access BDD, Platinum, Brooks, and many other stairlift brands. Customers choose Eco Stairlifts because of our honest advice, transparent process, excellent communication, and commitment to environmental responsibility. We understand that removing a stairlift often follows a significant life event, and we always aim to provide a caring, respectful, and stress-free experience. Our services include: • Stairlift removals nationwide • Stairlift buy-back and valuation services • Responsible stairlift recycling • Reconditioned stairlift refurbishment programmes • Trade stairlift purchasing and stock recovery • Eco-friendly disposal solutions • Support for homeowners, families, housing providers, and care organisations At Eco Stairlifts, we are proud to help customers recover value from unwanted stairlifts while reducing environmental impact and extending the lifespan of mobility equipment wherever possible. Together, we are helping create a more sustainable future for the mobility industry, one stairlift at a time.

Antwoord van Wholesale Stairlifts Services LTD trading as Eco Stairlifts
Hello Barry, and I'm sorry the first installation fell short and gave you a worrying time — that's not the experience anyone should have. I understand it was escalated between Affordable Stairlifts and ourselves, and I'd genuinely like to make sure everything is now fully resolved and working as it should. Please do get in touch with us directly so we can check in and put your mind at rest. Thank you for bearing with us.
STAIRLIFT IS WORKING WELL FROM BOTTOM TO TOP ALTHOUGH IT DOES JUMP ABOUT A BIT THREE OR FOUR TIMES EN ROUTE
Antwoord van Wholesale Stairlifts Services LTD trading as Eco Stairlifts
Thank you for letting us know. We're glad it's running from bottom to top, but it shouldn't be jumping en route — that's usually a straightforward adjustment, and we'd like to put it right for you under your aftercare. Please give us a call and we'll arrange for an engineer to come and check it over. We want it running perfectly smoothly for you.

Thank you, Carol. Fitted in a few hours, cleaned up, fully tested, and watching you try it out before we leave is just how it should be. We're delighted you were impressed. Much appreciated.
My wife Wendy had her leg amputation the beginning of April. She was forced to sleep downstairs for the next 3 months. I couldn’t get any help with a stairlift from any of the Wales care providers, so I tried Affordable Stairlifts. Within a week the assessor had been and the fitter had installed the new stairlift. He couldn’t have been more helpful, so that night Wendy had her first night in her own bed for 3 months. It has been life changing for her to get access to upstairs. We’ve had no problems. It moves up and down the stairs smoothly and navigates the curve at the top with ease. We are happy we chose Affordable Stairlifts. The fitter was very knowledgeable and friendly and answered all our questions.

Thank you, Gordon — a truly moving review to read. We're so glad we could get an assessor and fitter out within a week, and that Wendy is back in her own bed and able to reach upstairs again after everything she's been through. That is exactly why we do what we do. We wish you both all the very best, and we're always here if you need us.
