Nick and Gill were incredibly helpful throughout the whole application process. Not only are they knowledgeable but were also very thorough along every step, advising me on points that I would have never thought of if I was making the application on my own. They know the UK immigration system so well and their advice was always very clear and to the point. I really appreciated the clarity throughout the process and am so glad that I decided to work with them rather than go at it alone. I really cannot recommend Edgewater Legal enough to navigate the often tricky UK immigration system!

I didn't like how the session wasn't recorded. It's personal for me to go back and learn especially if the client has memory issues. It's not ideal at all after spending so much money for a one hour not to be recorded. It's unusual. The lawyer wasn't prepared as it did seem they did not read my new documents with highlighted questions in red. I was left bereft with more questions than before. It's very disappointing as I picked them because of their 5 star reviews initially. They should understand this is a question of someone's entire life in the UK and sometimes one hour session is all a client can afford especially if they don't have a job! And I feel like my session wasn't fruitful as much as I had hoped for. Now I have to piece all the puzzles together myself for my new application.
The only little help was given was on correcting the personal statement and nothing on the content of my new application or the new recommendation letters!

Professional and Comprehensive Guidance and Counsel

I have used the services of Edgewater legal for both my spouse/partner application and have always been satisfied with the professionalism, thoroughness and expert knowledge. However, this is the first time I worked with Rebecca Henessey for my ILR. Rebecca is extremely patient and knowledgeable about the various parts of the process and was able to guide me specifically about the documents I needed which is often the most challenging part of the process. Her professional and calm demeanor helped to alleviate my anxiety. The cover letter was very thorough and describe the case perfectly, which I am sure led to the timely (successful) decision on my application.
