Edinburgh Locksmith Service Reviews

On the motorway and one of their drivers blocked me getting on from the slip road then decided to start swerving as if he was going to bang my car while I had a 1 year old in the back, videod him laughing and jumped out on the motorway and he wouldn’t get out the car… so big man in his van and a little man when called out. Phoned up the company and they said we will call you back and nothing. If this is the sort of people they have employed then I can only imagine what the rest of the company is like no doubt that melt will still be driving the van and employed… registration of the van is ML74 HPU

Misleading information. Called to ask for price so I was certain and they would tell me anything. Upon arrival (20minutes after they said they’d come) I was informed of separate call out costs on top of the door. The guy was great but I was overcharged just for him to swipe my door with a card (took under a minute). Rather upsetting

Me and my mum got locked outside our flat and phoned at about 8:40pm. Prices were advertised low about £40-50. After the work was done (took about 10 seconds) he charged £170 after. My mum said she couldn’t afford it then the man said it was a very advanced lock to get into- It was literally a basic flat lock.

Amazing, friendly service.
A Saturday night, and the back door lock was broken.....it was in bits!!
Such a relief to have it fixed so expertly and so quickly. The door closes better now than it ever did!
Thank you so very much.

Frendly guy, fixed my lock fast. No hidden costs.

Great service overall, but the van was a bit late. 😅 The guy was nice though and got my lock sorted quickly!

Needed a few locks replaced at my grandma's house.

I called these folks because of their reputation.
They came quick, no doubt. Did the job well but missed one of the window locks which we only noticed later.
Called back and they were nice enough to come back the next day without extra charge.

Appreciated the follow-up, shows they care. Just wish the job was perfect the first time!

Got loked out of my flat on a sunday morning, freezing and just not my day. They arrived within 25 of my call, which was pretty fast given the time. Dennis was friendly and worked quickly to get me back inside without any damage to the lock or door. He also recommended a few security upgrades but was not pushy. Slightly on the pricier side but hey, they saved me from a total disaster🙏🙏🙏

Dennis was awesome! Came over in 20 mins when I was locked out in the rain. Fixed my jammed lock with ease and did not charge extra for the after hours service. Thanku Dennis, You're a life saver! Definitely recommended!!!!

So gratful for these guys! Got home at 3 am from a night out only to realize I'd lost my house keys 😬. I called them up and they arrived in no time, which was a massive relief. They quickly replaced the lock and even provided some spare keys.

The guy was super understanding, got the door open without a fuss, and even checked the rest of the locks for free ✅

Got locked out and they arrived in just 20 mins. Super quick! 👍 Fixed the issue with no fuss. Really impressed!

I called them for an emergency lockout. Guy came and he was nice tho and gave tips to avoid future issues. Overall happy but would have loved faster responce next time.

Alex arrived on time and diagnosed the problem, sorted the lock, checked everything worked correctly Brilliant service.

Quick response. Quick repairs and replacement of parts. Skilled with high level of workmanship.

Fast, friendly and professional service.

Prompt efficient service would highly recommend

When tried to unlock the door at 8.00am the mechanism broke so we locked ourselves in the house. I searched on Google for a locksmith in West Lothian and called on the number and in 40 minutes Alexander came to our rescue. He was friendly and explained everything in detail before any work taken. He is very professional and made us feel safe. I would recommend this company and especially Alexander.

The work was quick but the cost was way overpriced. We feel we didn't require a gearbox either but it got replaced without any explanation.
