The guys were very attentive and…
The guys were very attentive and communicative. Adem was waiting for me on arrival and was very helpful when i realized i did not have the key card for my car. He set up the App to have control and all was good. Arranged to meet where there was no cost for collection.
Great service, thank you.
A joke of a company.
A joke of a company.
On drop off we were forced to pay £20 cash. But some rough looking fella called maps.
On collection. We noticed our rear taillight smashed.
They said it was like that on drop-off. No accountability.
The worst of the worst. Beware!!
Heathrow T2 - £80.00 Parking Fine on return from Holiday!
Heathrow T2 - thought we would try this service out. Good communications when we made booking. Called driver in time slot prior to arrival advised that drop off location changed to middle drop off bay T2. We arrived , met by driver all fine. Upon return we duly called driver who informed us of another change in collection location now Hilton Hotel. met driver, car caked in mud but otherwise OK.
Got home found £80 (£40 if paid in timeframe) parking fine for the T2 drop off zone! No one told us we had to pay online and that the driver OR Edward Lloyd would ignore this so 2 weeks holiday greeted with a fine. Emailed EL but no response at all , they dont want to know. Would I use them again, sorry No.

Car damaged beyond repair. Avoid this company
We left our car with Edward Lloyd Meet and Greet whilst on holiday. We drove our car to Heathrow and handed it over to the driver at terminal 3 in April 2024
It drove well and exhibited no faults. It was a Jaguar XK8. The driver checked it over and found no fault.
On our return seven days later, we called to say we had landed. They said our car had a “flat battery” and they couldn’t start it. They would not assist us, but we were to make our way to the yard in Datchet.
We paid £50 for a cab and arrived at the yard. We called several times asking for someone to come and speak to us. No one would come. We called again and someone said that they had tried to jump start the car and “because it was a large engine, they didn’t have anything big enough to charge it”! They said we had to call for assistance.
We called the AA, their mechanic managed to charge the battery and then tried to start the engine. It sounded like a load of rocks in a tumble dryer. We had to get the car removed and taken back home. Since then, we have had three mechanics reports all saying the same.
There was extensive damage, and there was a connecting rod through the side of the engine. We asked them how this could have possibly happened. They all said in their experience this was due to the car being forcibly over revved.
There would have been a considerable loud bang when the connecting rod went through the side of the engine so it could not have gone unnoticed.
The car is beyond repair.
We contacted Edward Lloyd several times and only once, after seven weeks and a visit from the police, they responded by saying “Unfortunately mechanical issues can arise at any time with any car, as per our terms and conditions we cannot accept liability for the issue that has arisen with your vehicle. Regards Shane”
This type of “mechanical issue” could not have just arisen by itself. The magnitude of damage to the engine of our car is considerable. Our lovely old car has now been written off.
They have never even tried to explain how the connecting rod went through the side of the engine. This is no small “mechanical issue”, and the noise alone would not have gone unnoticed by their staff.
All this damage was caused by Edward Lloyd, by their drivers, in their yard, whilst our car was in their care. They have been unhelpful from the start. Four months on we are still waiting for a refund after cancelling a further booking with them after this event. We are thousands of pounds out of pocket and this disreputable company simply does not care about their customers or their property. Please avoid using this company at all costs. This cowboy outfit is now being investigated by Trading standards.
Good value, reliable and car was as I left it on return
I used this company a couple of years ago at Heathrow with no issues.I booked them again for July 2024,but was a bit concerned after reading some of the reviews(I needn’t be).Drop off was fine and the driver was very friendly.Upon arrival, they text me to confirm I had arrived and met me at the airport 10 minutes later. The car was as I left it.I will definitely use this company again.
Left keys on the car, unsecured, and just left.
Unbelievably insecure service. Our car was in the Heathrow T5 multi-storey ready to collect but no sign of anyone when we arrived. Tried calling multiple times no answer. Finally got through to someone. Was informed the car key was simply left on the front windscreen by the wipers!!!!! Not only that but the delay meant we had to pay an even higher car park fee.
Complete disregard for our car - it (or our contents) could have easily been stolen. Completely goes against the ethos of Meet and Greet. Avoid at all costs. You have been warned.
Lack of respect for my property
Booked this through APH and would be very wary of doing it again. My car was dropped off and all of my settings had been changed. Completely understand that seats and mirros...etc would need to be adjusted to drive the car.
But performance settings had been adjusted to high performance mode after I always drive in eco-mode. Mine is a high powered car, and it seems someone, during the care of Edward Lloyd, wanted to try that out. It disappoints me the lack of respect which has been shown for my property.
congestion charge penalty
We paid for congestion charge. When we got home we got a fine for £90 as They had driven our car while we were away. They refused to pay the fine. They are cowboys I strongly advise against this company
Best meet & greet service we've ever…
Best meet & greet service we've ever used, chap was waiting for car to be dropped off, they actually rang us to confirm the drop off time while we were on the way.
Same on our return in the early hours, I received a call while we were in the baggage reclaim area as they'd been monitoring flight arrival time and car was there ready & waiting. Yes you have to pay the drop off charge - £7.50 each way although this is clearly stated when booking and even considering this they're still cheaper than competitors. Far better than other companies we've used.....10 out of 10 from us.
Thanks guys
Company never turned up and when phoned…
Company never turned up and when phoned had no idea of our booking. We phoned again and they said it would take an hour to send a driver, but this would have meant we missed our flight so we had to book another meet and greet at the airport MBW Parking - who were very efficient. No response when asked for a refund from this company.
BEWARE!
BEWARE!
We had to pay in and out of the carpark on top of my booking fee
We just used the meet and greet service at Heathrow. We paid when booking but on both arrival and departure we had to pay an additional £7.50 (so an extra £15.00 total) on top of our booking fee.
This didn’t form part of the quote for parking and we were not informed when booking.
Poor customer service rude would never…
Poor customer service rude would never use them again booked through APH. I put wrong date of return which I take responsibility for but on my booking it states phone them at least a day before and there would be no charge when I contacted them he was rude and said this was in correct so I have to pay the driver 30 pounds on return do I have told them I want a receipt of this would never ever use them or recommend this company and will be complaining to APH as they sold this as a package of hotel and parking
FIRST AND LAST TIME!
FIRST AND LAST TIME!
Wish I could give -10 stars.Absolutely useless.
Purchased through APH, was made to drive through to Heathrow Terminal 5 (drop offs), then had to wait to meet the EL representative, was then told “you must pay £5 drop off fee extra” to Heathrow. (I pre paid and booked parking this was not on the small print or anywhere!) didn’t give me anything to sign or proof of who he worked for.
My car was then driven miles away from Heathrow to what looks like a fishing lake.( I have a tracker) car was also left unlocked until I locked it via the app.
On return was pretty much similar, no station to meet anyone, just a number to call. Car was returned AGAIN in the drop off area where I again had to pay another £5!! Car had a sausage roll wrapper in the door.
Other parking sites in Heathrow I have used previously have been miles better. Wouldn’t touch this company.
Had to wait over an hour for our car to…
Had to wait over an hour for our car to be brought back to us,driver was apparently stopped by the police on his way to the airport!well that’s what his supervisor apparently told him to say.
A bit of a mixed-bag experience
A bit of a mixed-bag experience to be honest. The drop-off was flawless. We had barely exited the car when the extremely friendly representative arrived to check and photograph the car. We discussed our return flight and he told us to call on landing and again once we had our baggage back.
On return, we did as requested, however, during the second call we were told that the car park was extremely busy and asked if we could meet at a different location. We exited the Terminal 3 building in torrential rain but struggled to find the location described by the driver. My wife called again and eventually, we understood the location he had requested - a bus shelter close the the valet car parking space. There was zero cover from the rain in crossing to the location and we were very wet by the time we arrived.
Given the wet weather we had absolutely no opportunity to inspect the car before taking it back - even loading the suitcases left us soaked. This was certainly not the meet-and-greet experience we were expecting and had paid for.
FROM 100% to ZERO%
Having used Edward Lloyd for the last 10 years with an excellent record, in May 2023 we tried phoning them on our way to the airport as we were running 2 hours early in order to change the time of meeting. After some 20+ ‘phone calls to them - most times there was NO ANSWER and we thought they had probably ‘gone out of business’, eventually a recorded message told us to TEXT them a message! How can you do this when you are driving. We were left with no option but to use another company. At the agreed time they messaged me but NO PHONE CALL. I explained that their poor service meant we had to use another company and have since tried to recover my original monies, without success. I have asked Edward Lloyd for a refund via PayPal and they have refused. From the other reviews on TRUSTPILOT, I think I was lucky to ‘write off’ their parking charge and NEVER WILL I USE THEM AGAIN!!!!
AVOID
AVOID - POLICE HAD TO INTERVENE BEFORE WE COULD GET OUR CAR BACK. @@@ OVER 7 HOURS WAITING @@@
SECURE LOCATION IS AROUND A PUBLIC FISHING LAKE!!!!!!
Landed and rang for meet and greet, only to be told they’d misplaced my keys.
Waited a further hour and nothing.
Checked key locator app and they were 7 miles from my car.
Rang again then told they’d been stollen. After 5 hours met with police only to find several vehicles had been stolen and over 100 sets of keys.
Police had to break into one of the stolen vehicles to get our keys back with our key locator app, also found several more.
The staff lied through their back teeth until Surrey police told us the real story and lock of security.
Checked our car app only to find they had taken it for a drive 4 times while we were away.
There are going to be some really unhappy people landing home without their cars.
@@@ AVOID. AVOID. AVOID @@@
All Rather Stressful!
First things first - and most importantly - my car was returned, undamaged, at the end of my holiday!
Trying to arrive at the Heathrow T5 Short Term Car Park at a very specific time (which you are required to provide when booking) is something of a challenge (akin to landing a Jumbo Jet on the head of a pin!). Travelling from over 80 miles away, and taking into account the vagaries of the M25, we included significant contingency for delays so, accordingly, arrived in the area some 30 minutes ahead of our notified arrival. We called ELM&G, as requested, when we were an estimated 15 minutes away from our destination however were told that as we were tracking early there was nobody who could meet us. This meant driving around ("circling") the general (unfamiliar) area trying not to inadvertently fall foul of all the restrictions which are constantly monitored by cameras as there is absolutely nowhere to park up!! Having become rather fed-up of trying to circumnavigate Heathrow, we arrived at the Short-Term Car Park 5-10 minutes before the planned time and were promptly met by an agent in a hi-viz vest who directed us to pay for the car park exit (I wasn't expecting this) and he'd be with us shortly. This we did - and so he was. Unfortunately, it transpired that he worked for another co. - not ELM&G! Frantically (the exit ticket was only valid for a limited period) we called ELM&G again and were reassured that someone was now on their way. He duly arrived, I explained that we'd purchased an exit ticket under direction from someone else and he departed quickly without carrying out an appraisal of the vehicle (he explained that he didn't have time so I tried my best to video the car as he drove off)... all somewhat less professional than I'd been led to expect. I am pleased to say that the return process was far smoother.
Would I book with ELM&G again... I'm not sure...
they will use your cat for personel use.!
so having used previous meet and greet companies..
we learned our lesson. we had installed covert cameras and gps trackers.
upon drop of at terminal 5. our made numerous journeys in and around the heathrow area! one stop at heathrow macdonalds.
the car ended up in a residential street in west drayton.
the car then was moved to the datchet area...then to slough....and then back to a public car park within the heathrow area.
we provided the videos to the police.... but they said no crime has taken place other than excessive
miles.
do not usethis company
Very poor customer service
We booked this company through APH. On arrival the driver took photos of the vehicle on what appeared to be his personal mobile phone, we weren't asked to sign any paperwork regarding the condition of the vehicle.
On our return flight we were due to land at 10:25 so I stated on the APH website we would collect the car at 11:30.
However it turns out that the company use flight numbers rather than the time you have selected. Unknown to us we had been provided with the wrong flight number so the company expected us to arrive at 06:30.
The paperwork provided from the company stated that we needed to call them 30 minutes before we were due to pick up the car. However on our return we had numerous missed calls and texts from the company.
When I spoke with the manager to try and discuss the situation he called me a liar and that my flight had landed at 06:30 not 10:30.
I pointed out if my flight had landed at 06:30 I wouldn't sit around the airport for 4 hours, however the man was just very rude and demanded I would have to pay the £40 fee for the wrong time.
Even when we showed our confirmed booking showing the flight number and the time it was due to land they would not except it wasn't our fault.
The customer service skills of this company are some of the worst I have ever come across and I would never use them again!!
