Disappointed and somewhat unprofessional - Updated
I'm a bit sorry to leave this review, as I first bought from this store back when I found it in a back street of Balat, Istanbul, and really liked it back then. But I had placed an order on this site some time ago as the online shop seems to have been set up newly only recently. However, despite the clearly stated shipping time, nothing had moved. So after some time I contacted the shop. After some waiting, I received an answer that he had been on holiday and stated this on the Insta - as if everybody is supposed to follow the store's Insta page... A bit unprofessional to me and seems to be a one-man-thing as of now, since apparently now one else could manage the orders in the meantime. So, after it was finally shipped, I reorganized to finally go get the package at delivery. Only that this delivery didn't happen for the longest time, the package simply vanished from PostNL with no tracking info. Contacted the seller and he told me to look into it. He never wrote again... But eventually, after a very, very long time, the package arrived. So, once I finally managed to then go get it, I did. To my disappointement, one of the "Linen Shirts" was very far from linen. The material was rather very uncomfortable and polyester-like and reminiscent of a curtain to the touch. The other shirts were alright and nice, though not quite as nice as those I had bought myself in Istanbul. However, when I tried to return the one shirt that had been wrongly described as linen, my return was declined on the premise of an exceeded time limit - despite the mistakes made from their side which led to this. So overall sadly a disappointing experience and I won't order from this shop again...
A little update:
Washed one of my "linen" shirts, gently at 30°, no dry tumbling or anything, as also laid out on the label in the piece, and it shrunk down to virtually baby size. Reached out for an explanation a week ago and - oh what a surprise - got no answer. Truly a pity...
