Team sport and the outdoors are an integral part of who I am, so fracturing my 5th metatarsal playing netball on the 29th April impacted every aspect of my life. The recovery prognosis was 6 to 12 weeks and I intended to be back within six. I had K-laser treatment and searched for ‘proper’ netball shoes. Elandr came up time and time again and so Thursday evening of week 5, readiness for my return to netball I ordered a pair of Ocean Blue Elandr shoes, which arrived Saturday morning. I wore them around the house for a couple of hours to a tune myself to the feel, and then on the court on Sunday. The Elandr shoes gave me the security in my foot, allowing me to run, jump, intercept and regain my netball confidence in what is a very physical sport. Putting on and fastening the internal Velcro and bungees and the external zips takes a bit of getting used to. But hand on heart, these shoes are a game changer and worth the money, they also look pretty cool too.

Well... elandr where are you been all my netball life!?
The shoes are exactly what I needed. Comfortable, extremely supportive and giving me so much confidence in the court in all weathers now.
Had a tiny issue upon delivery, where there were some marks on a shoe, I popped some photos over to the team and just asked a few questions, they were amazing and got a new pair dispatched to me and gave me the postage labels to send back the pair I had. Honestly couldn't complain at all.
Love them. Love standing out on court in bright orange shoes!

Don’t last!
For the price of them, i expected them to last longer. I have had them for 3 months now, i play netball matches 3 times a week. Inside the shoe its tearing apart, something sticking into the side of my foot now and the velcro is peeling off and don’t get the white, as i’m a mum and i cannot get it white again! But get a good ankle support and buy a pair of hoka or asics!

Fairly fast delivery
Fairly fast delivery. I have only had the chance to wear these boots once so far. They felt secure & gave me some confidence on the court that I was unlikely to injure my ankles. The splints, however did dig in to the point it was almost unbearable. Note to self - wear long socks to stop cuff rubbing, otherwise all good 👍

We are really pleased to hear that your delivery arrived quickly and that the boots instantly gave you that secure, confident feeling on the court, protecting your ankles is exactly what they are designed to do!
Wearing a longer, thicker sports sock (or even doubling up on socks for your first few games) is the best way to create a protective barrier and completely stop that cuff from rubbing while they break in. Gently flexing the padded ankle collar with your hands before putting them on can also help speed up the softening process.
We are confident that once they are fully broken in, they will give you that same great support without the bite! If you try the longer socks and they are still digging in after a few more quarters, please don't hesitate to reach out to our customer service team at all.

Great Netball boots. My daughter loves the support & cloud like feel. She has flat feet & overpronates so has special sports insoles which fit like a glove! Fantastic service too.

Review after 6 month use
Review after 6 month use - mainly outside.
I love the ankle support, as a goal defender I've had quite a few moment when I thought I'd landed funny or rolled but wearing these shoes I've had total stability! Means I can really push my body further defending the shot knowing my ankles are supported.
It did take about 4 weeks to get used to the shoes as I did get bruising 1 side, but customer service was amazing, reassuring me a refund is possible if it doesn't work and to keep playing outside, they offered a few tips and after putting an extra insole in 1 shoe the problem was solved (I'm just a little bit wonky!).
Grip outside was incredible at first... however after 6 months (playing 2-3 times per week indoor & outdoor) I now have quite a few smooth patches, so I'm not sure how long they will last as definitely loosing grip especially when wet.
The shoes have a lot going on, so do get a bit warm, might need some lighter grip socks for summer!!
So overall I was really impressed with these shoes and the support for me is unparalleled, but not 100% sure if I will repurchase at the end of the season, let's see how summer goes and the grip lasts out, as I must get at least a years use in shoes at this price.

As a Goal Defender, hearing that the unparalleled ankle stability gives you the confidence to really push your body, contest the shot, and land safely without rolling is exactly why we designed these trainers. We are also so glad our customer service team was able to support you through that initial 4-week adjustment period to get your insoles sorted.
We also really appreciate your candid feedback regarding the outsole wear and the warmth of the shoes. Playing high-intensity netball 2 to 3 times a week across both indoor and outdoor surfaces puts an enormous amount of friction on the rubber, but we completely understand your expectation that the grip should go the distance at this price point.
Because we are constantly striving to improve, our product design team is actively working on enhancing the durability of our rubber compounds for future production runs to better withstand the abrasive nature of outdoor courts. Your note about the shoes getting a bit warm is also really helpful, and trying out a slightly lighter grip sock for the summer league is a fantastic idea!
Please do keep us updated on how you get on over the summer, we would love nothing more than to welcome you back for another season when the time comes.

My feet feel really stable
My feet feel really stable. They have really good grip and space for toes to move. I wasn't to sure when I first tried them around the house, I was a little worried they might be a bit restrictive but I forgot they was on once I was on the court! All the girls were commenting about my movement around the circle as a defender and I had to say I felt the shoes definitely made the difference. I was able to change direction faster. I'm so happy as they wasn't cheap but I would now say they are worth the money!

It is completely normal for them to feel a little different when you first try them on at home, as they are designed specifically for that high-intensity movement, the fact that you "forgot they were on" once the game started is the ultimate compliment to our design!
As a defender, having that extra confidence to change direction and move around the circle is so important, and it sounds like your teammates certainly noticed the impact. We know they are an investment, so we are thrilled that you feel they were worth every penny.

Not for me but excellent customer…
Not for me but excellent customer service. I wore my new boots on Tuesday for my game. They were a good fit, plenty of room in the toe box and easy to put on and do up. Unfortunately I went over and sprained my ankle. It could be that I would have had a worse injury and they prevented that however, I felt that I would be nervous to wear them again. They have quite a bouncy sole and I have hyper mobile ankles. I contacted Elandr and received a very nice email back with an offer of free postage and a full refund so you can’t say fairer than that. I do know two other people who have them and love them so they’re definitely worth a go! It’s a very fair returns policy.

I love my trainers. I didn't go over on my ankle playing netball which was a first. They are comfortable and I feel very supported. I am going to wear them to the gym. Quick delivery too.

Game changer for ankle support
After rolling my ankle about 7 weeks ago, I’d been strapping it up for support when playing netball, but it never really felt secure. Since getting my Elandr netball shoes, the difference has been amazing.
The built-in ankle supports on both sides give me so much more stability, and I finally feel confident moving and jumping again. They’re also really lightweight, which makes a huge difference on court - I feel quick and can jump much higher without feeling weighed down.
Genuinely one of the best pieces of netball kit I’ve bought. If you need extra ankle support but still want a light, comfortable shoe, I’d definitely recommend them.

My 12 year old daughter has rolled her…
My 12 year old daughter has rolled her ankle many times and had physio and worn ankle straps so the coach suggested Elandr shoes. We have had them for a week and worn them to both training and to a game and had very curious looks from bystanders all wanting to know how they can get their hands on some of these magic shoes. Go and buy some!
