Outstanding product. Linked up to Bluetooth easily, and then was quickly able to make settings that suited the vehicle and camper trailer. Really happy with the unit and how well it works.

My only gripe, the screws provided for fastening into the trailer weren’t great, and snapped. Fixed with aftermarket ones, but an annoyance nonetheless.

The unit arrived within a few days of ordering, was really simple to set up and made a huge positive difference to my rowing experience!

Fantastic product

Whilst brake system worked well the screws supplied to fix unit to chassis were not able to be used without using a tap to cut the threads. Alternative screws maybe better option to enable easier fitting of unit to chassis.

Elecbrake system was as easy as advertised to fit to our caravan. Setting up to controller and phone was as simple as filling instructions. Travelling with the app showed exactly what power was being used at all points. Even warned when tail lights were not on to power system. Great system Highly recommend.

Works perfectly with our 9M caravan and RAM setup.

Quick turn around from order to reviving and even sent the screws to attach the unit to the drawbar

Shipping was arranged without fuss and quickly. Fitting and setup effortless with Apple Carplay displayed the controls.

Still working to find the best settings to provide smooth braking at all braking loads, with some over braking occurring at heavier braking, however, would prefer over braking when braking heavily than being pushed along.

Generally speaking, it did what it said on the box. Quick to set up, and worked well.

The exception was the cheap screws provided, where the head stripped out on trying to install into gal. trailer bar. Alternate screws (self-purchased) with hex head worked far better.

Hi have used this product for about 9 months now travelling over and to Adelaide from Kalgoorlie across the Nullarbor lost power a few times when the battery on my phone would get low brake hadn't looked up at all now now I have brought the remote control it makes my 28 foot caravan tow like dream

We are loving the Elecbrakes it was easy to setup and connect. We run Android Auto in our Tank 300 so it's great to have all the controls in the dash.

This is a 4.7/5 rating and the review covers two Elecbrakes products. 1. The Brake Controller, and 2. The Remote Control.
1. I purchased the wireless brake controller in June 2021. The unit is robust, well-constructed, is high quality, and performs flawlessly. It was easy to install to my camper trailer and connects to my iPhone seamlessly. The beauty of the wireless setup is that you do not need to run cabling through the car or permanently mount anything on your dash. The brake settings are customisable to suit load and road conditions on the go. The manual override function is excellent. I highly recommend this product.
2. I purchased the remote control unit in August 2024. The reason for the purchase was caution in using the iPhone as a remote due to the prevalence of mobile phone detection cameras. Again, the remote is well made and works perfectly. The only negative is that the remote does not have a battery and therefore must be connected by cable to a power source in the car to operate. This is not mentioned on the Elecbrakes website. Given the $180 price tag. I'd rather have a remote with a rechargeable Li battery, than the fancy box it came in. Further, there is no cradle or magnetic mounting plate so that the remote can be placed withing easy reach. These are the only reasons I did not give Elecbrakes a 5/5 rating.
